  Chris is such a talented photographer. One of my biggest priorities for my wedding was photography. Chris is also creative and know how to creat the perfect photo. He has a variety of cameras and knows how to find the best lighting.
  Chris took our engagement photos and we loved them. He helped us pick an amazing location. He is a photographer that knows how to capture the moment. We could not have been happier with the places he took us for our photo shoot. He has a lot of knowledge about where there are unique places for photos.
  He also helped us with all the small details. He made sure that we were standing up straight our clothing was straightened and that we looked our best.
  He is very organized and helpful. He is quick to respond to emails and make suggestions. He is easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable from the start. He is also funny and made us laugh constantly. We absolutely loved spend time with him.
  He made us feel so special on our wedding day. He helped to calm our nerves and made our photography feel easy and stress free.
  I could not be more happy with Chris's work. He is the perfect mix of fun and professional. He has a lot of experience and a great deal of creative talent. I had the best experience working with him. He will definitely be our "go to" photographer in the future. He is absolutely amazing. Not only is Chris extremely talented but he also has an outstanding character. What sets him apart from other photographer is that he truly cares about his clients. We could not be more pleased to work with him! We hope to work with him again in the future!

  Chris was awesome!! you can tell he just loves his job....pays attention to EVERY detail and truly wants to make sure he is capturing the best images for your special day. He kept everyone on track in a timely manner and after reviewing our photos we appreciate the creativity added to each photo.

  Chris was an incredible photographer to work with! He was there with us for every part of the process; he answered any and all questions, gave suggestions, and talked everything through. From the moment we first met him, we were confident and excited to have our wedding photographed. The engagement session was a great time for all of us get to know each other and I highly recommend; it was then that we really saw how fun he was to work with. By the time our wedding arrived, we were completely comfortable with him and excited to see what our pictures would be. He went through our entire list of photos, but also worked with any changes and even made some great suggestions on the fly--one being taking a quick stop at a local carnival for some goofy, yet cute pictures. I will always recommend Chris as their wedding photographer!

  Chris was fantastic to work with! His work was the right mix of traditional and contemporary for us (I had been admiring at his shots of my sis' wedding for over 5 years). His love for what he does reflects in his photographs. He truly puts you at ease even during the traditional posed shots for mom and grandma. He'll even tie a tie in a pinch!

  Chris and Jane did a fantastic job. The first time we talked with Chris on the phone he was attentive, understanding, and funny. Not only did we find a photographer who takes great photos, but we found someone we could relate to and feel comfortable with. We had a meeting prior to our wedding where we came up with a plan/list of photographs for the big day. They stuck to that list while making us laugh and reminding us to enjoy such a fast day. Selecting such a organized/got-it-together photography team left us with time to breathe, relax, and enjoy a day we will never forget. The most important part (the pictures) are beautiful and captured the best moments of our day. Chris really understood what was important to us and it shows. We will recommend him for years to come!

  Chris did a great job taking our wedding pictures! He was fun to work with and he was able to get a smile out of everyone! The pictures turned out wonderful! I would highly recommend him to anyone! Jane also did a great job! She was very kind and professional too! She also helped put on corsages and boutonnieres for our family! They are both great!

During our engagement photo session, he stayed longer than anticipated and the photos turned out spectacular. When it came to our wedding day, he was professional yet funny and made our friends and family more at ease during the photo shoot. My husband and I are happy how everything turned out and we cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding photos! I highly recommend Chris to anyone. He knows what he's doing and takes fantastic shots and a great person to work with!

  My Husband and I were BLOWN away by Chris and his assistant Jane for our wedding!
  They were so professional and hard working though out the whole day! We would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have an awesome team for their big day!

  Chris was phenomenal to work with - very flexible and patient! We had so many wonderful pictures to choose from and each had so much personality. He made planning this portion of our event easy and stress free. Loved him! All our family did.

  I was an out of town bride planning an intimate wedding at my parent's house and my (now) husband and I were looking for someone to capture not only the detail of the work my parents had put into the patio where the reception was planned, but also the joy and love of the day. Simply put - Chris 100% delivered.
  
  Chris not only met the ladies at the salon, he also captured the guys during a short round of golf, and was there to see us all arrive at the house. As the bride I was grateful for his patience, and as the pictures prove, all of us loved his sense of humor. Chris has an amazing way of being there in the moment with you without it ever feeling like you are poised for a picture. Don't get me wrong, we have amazing family and friends pictures to round out the photo album, but during them all we were laughing and joking as normal and Chris just captured the moment.
  
  On a final note I'll say that we were blessed with quite a few vendors being "Minnesota nice" but Chris (and Jane...if she's available when you book Chris that's fantastic!) went beyond that, and truly celebrated the day with us.

From the first time we spoke to Chris, we knew we made the right decision. He wanted to get as much information from us as possible and start his plan for our wedding day.   We were so confident with our photographer choice and even more happy when we saw the finished photos! Finding a photographer for the biggest & happiest day of your life can be expensive & stressful. Chris was so helpful through the process!! He wasn't the cheapest to go with (he's comparable to many) but I wasn't about to trust a brand new photographer with no wedding experience just because she was only charging $700 either. Chris helped customize a package that worked for our needs. Even though we already had our engagement photos done, he scheduled a free session with us so we could feel comfortable with each others' personalities on our wedding day. He and Jane (the 2nd photographer) were pleasant, patient, and professional in every way, from their attire to getting the right people in each photo to communicating with us. Lastly, I want to mention that Chris NEVER kept us waiting. He made himself available so whenever we sent an email with questions he would reply within a few days. Within minutes of meeting Chris, you feel comfortable because he knows more about what will happen on your wedding day than you do....and that made me happy because that was a lot less for me (as the bride) to have to worry about:)

Chris did a exquisite job of capturing our wedding day on film, quirky family members, unusual circumstances, extreme time constraints, outlandish requests (having the entire wedding, i.e., bride, groom, wedding party, family and every single guest in attendance in a group shot) and all! He was a pleasure to work with and is kind, sensitive, and creative. Our pictures are beautiful and one has become the "master piece" of our Living Room & a perfect poetic snapshot as we start our lives together - a bold 60"x40" black & white of the two of us, impossible here to fully describe, standing in front of the church with snow flakes falling and the biggest smiles on our faces. No one enters our house without stopping in their tracks to take a look - including the UPS man, Zero-Rez carpet cleaning dude, a furnace repairman and a plumber (I only mention because you wouldn't expect them to even notice something like that...I know, unfair stereotyping.) The bottom line, Chris was wonderful to work with and I will use him again for any future needs.

  Chris was amazing! He was very attentive to me and my wedding party. The pictures turned out spectacular! I cant choose which one I want above my mantle because there's too many that turned out perfectly! I will recommend him to everyone I know.

We were nervous when we heard that our photographer was sick, but Chris made us feel at ease as soon as he arrived with his positive attitude, dedication, and work ethic.   Chris was great to work with! I think his exceptional professionalism and quality of work come out when it matters most, the day of the event. Chris is very in tune with both the images that need to be captured and everything that can effect the situation. He balances the days events (including surprises) and keeps everything running smoothly, while remaining calm, collected, and professional.

  I cannot say enough good things about Chris. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with in the lead up to our wedding, and the day of went above and beyond in helping to make the day something we will never forget. His light-hearted approach went really well with not only our personalities, but those of our families and wedding party. It is abundantly clear that he loves what he does, and truly enjoys being a part of the day. I would unquestionably recommend Chris to anyone.

From the very first meeting, where Chris spent over almost two hours with us just getting to know us, through the months after the wedding, Chris was excellent!

Chris, on the other hand, took the time to actively listen to the things my husband and I wanted, and took extra care to make sure that even we didn't forget our photo "wish list" during the craziness of the reception, for which I am so grateful!

  We were very pleased with our wedding pictures from Christopher J Photography. He was very professional, punctual, and has a great eye for detail. Everyone we show out photographs to has complimented on how wonderful a photographer he is and how he captures the perfect picture. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.
