David and I fell in love with this beautiful Episcopal Church in the heart of Kensington, MD, with amazing grounds – ideal for great photo opportunities. The chapel is built after an old Anglican church in Stratford-on-the-Avon and has a truly magical feeling when you enter. David and I knew immediately that this is the place we wanted to get married in.
The rector Reverend William Hague married us, and he could not have been more supportive. Plus, Chirst Church has a volunteer ministry of wedding planners who are truly phenomenal and take care of everything for you before and on the day of the wedding. The church's music program is also amazing, and the organist Jim Catlette is a true connoisseur of music and creating the perfect ambiance for a truly spiritual and moving ceremony.
