As we were searching for the photographer to cover our vow renewal and family photos, we had a very specific vision in mind. Chris went over and beyond everything we asked for. He was patient, calm, and responded to every email efficiently...
As with every major event that you plan months away, we had an unexpected occasion arise that threatened our trip... Hurricanes Iselle and Julio! Not only did he follow the hurricane watch with us, he kept in close contact with us the entire time! WHILE he was on vacation. We will forever be grateful to Chris for being available to us and capturing this momentous occasion. His style and personality are unmatched and the images he produced are beautiful. We will treasure our photos forever! Hiring him was one of the best things we did for our event!

Chris is fantastic. He is responsive, easy to work with, and attentive. All of our photos are amazing! I had a pre-wedding BBQ at the beach and he was so gracious in meeting all of my friends and family and spent the day taking some candid photos that turned out beautifully. On our wedding day, he and his assistant were great. Since he got along with everyone and was so friendly people asked us after the wedding if he was a personal friend of ours. We wanted photos that highlighted us and our guests, and we could not have made a better choice. I will definitely use Chris for any other events and recommend him to anyone.

Christopher Simons is the best photographer on the island of Oahu. I am so glad we chose him as our photographer for our engagements, bridals, and wedding. He takes modern, fresh, crisp photos. Not only is he a great photographer, but he is so personable and professional. You will feel so comfortable when working with him and his work is effortless! He is super easy to contact and will always get back to you right away. Can't wait to use him again for an anniversary or maternity shoot ;)

Chris Simons is without a doubt the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER I have ever worked with (and I've worked with many).
Here's why:
1. Talent: his use of natural light and composition are incredible. He made us look like we belong in a magazine ad. He managed to put us at ease so our photos turned out very "us" (not liked the uncomfortable, posed photos that are common from other photographers). It made every photo so special and meaningful. Furthermore, he knew exactly how to help us know how to stand, where to look, etc. so there were no awkward moments when no one knows what to do next.

2. Professionalism: Chris is the perfect blend of friendly and professional. He returned emails almost immediately. Was always available on the phone. Chris went above a beyond to make us feel like we were the center of the universe. He came early to scope out the best backgrounds and settings, so he was completely prepared. He was so friendly with everyone and set everyone at ease. I couldn't believe how many people at the wedding commented on how good the photographer was. And, after the event, he got our photos back to us, so fast!

3. You Get Exactly What you Want: I can't tell you how many photographers do what is easiest for them. Not Chris. He truly listened to everything I wanted and went out of his way to make sure he got it. He captured everything that was important to me and totally fit our style.

Our wedding day went by in the blink of an eye, but the photos Chris took will make our special day last a lifetime in our memories. It was a privilege to work with such a talented photographer. The only problem? Not enough wall space to hang all our amazing photos.

Chris was such a fun photographer to work with! He was very open and responsive to my ideas & threw in as many as he could. Never felt awkward in any of the picture taking, & didn't even know he was around half the time (in a good way, taking candid shots).
