Chris came highly recommended as a wedding DJ by our vendor; and the praise was well deserved. His system sounded (and looked, but more importantly sounded) great; he kept the dance floor packed and hype; and his MCing was clean, tasteful and effective. Beyond that, Chris can hang! During our introductory call, he sounded genuinely excited about playing our music choices, and made us feel like the most important couple in the world. During the wedding, he was energetic and friendly. As the reception wound down, my father and Chris chatted for a while, and the next morning my father told me what a cool he was on three separate occasions. Great DJ, great dude. 10/10, would recommend.

He is worth the price and the hype! Chris was amazing from the get-go, always super responsive, flexible, organized and helpful throughout the wedding planning process. On the big day, he was prompt, organized and prepared, and he followed all of our big asks. He has all the high quality equipment need and is a total natural- knows how to entertain and does it effortlessly. He knows how to talk to large crowds without being cheesy or over the top, always super professional and just an overall great human. On top of being an amazing MC, Chris was an AWESOME DJ! He was so great at fading in and out of songs for the special dances, crushed the cocktail hour playlist and kept the dance floor bumping all night long! His transitions were unreal too- guests were and still are complimenting him to this day. Hire Chris for your next wedding or event - you'll be so glad you did!!

Chris is that DJ who you wish you were friends with. It feels as if he is a guest at the wedding who has been to concerts with the couple and knows their music tastes intimately. Sometimes DJs can demand the spotlight more than the bride and groom but Chris understands the subtle dynamic between music, personality, and professionalism. He has a keen sense of where the room is at, where it needs to go, and what music can get it there. He is also incredibly knowledgeable. His music expertise spans from early jazz to 70’s yacht rock to modern EDM. He is a musician himself and that adds another layer of understanding when reading the crowd. His flat rate pricing is reasonable and you don't feel like he's nickel and diming you. Chris was an outstanding DJ that we HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants their wedding to pop off!

Chris is amazing. So professional, yet also extremely personable! He kept to a perfect schedule, played great music, and made the reception of my daughter's wedding wonderful!! Highly recommend.

To sum up our experience with Chris as our wedding DJ and MC: the dance floor at our wedding venue literally BROKE because so many people were dancing their a$$e$ off (a repair-person on-site had quickly come to remove the broken floor tiles). For a little context, my now-wife and I went into our wedding worried that not many guests would be interested in dancing... So wow, Chris absolutely blew our (and our guests') socks off. We had a huge variety of guests including young, old, east coast, west coast, partiers, non-partiers, etc. And seriously everyone was on that dance floor. Chris did such an amazing job of catering the music selection, volume, decade, etc. to everyone. It was just an all around top-notch, rockin’ dance party that our friends and family are still raving about 6 months later. As an MC, Chris was a fantastic balance of classy and enthusiastic (the perfect vibe!). And don't even get us started on how much of a joy it was communicating with Chris leading up to our wedding- he's such a great guy and is simply a pleasure to work with.

One of our very best decisions (and our most important piece of advice!) from our entire wedding planning process was trusting Chris with all the music/setlist decisions. Not only did this greatly simplify our to-do list, but Chris ran things like an absolute master. I wouldn’t give this advice for any other DJ/MC other than Chris - this is one of the huge benefits of hiring Chris. He’ll handle everything and do so in style! Chris is a professional who has seen it all: he knows how to get people on the dance floor and he knows how to work a crowd. Each any every song that would come on had our guests going “ohhhh!” and had people constantly rushing to the dance floor throughout the entire night. Chris read and ran the crowd amazingly and he did. not. miss. So please, for heavens sake, just hire him. (Thank you, thank you, thank you Chris!!!)

Chris absolutely made our wedding. Our wedding was in general not too grand, but there were a few things I knew I didn't want to skimp on: the food, the drinks, and the dancing (aka DJ). I am so happy we went with Chris. Our dance floor was the highlight for me of our wedding. He knows exactly how to keep the party going and makes sure the bride and groom are happy. He was great to work with during the whole planning process and I felt like he totally got the vibe we were going for. I am happy I just went with someone I could trust for everything - mics for speeches, music throughout, and the dance floor. I got so many guests commenting on how great Chris was - would 100% recommend!

We had Chris DJ at our wedding on 8/6/2022 and it was absolutely amazing. Not only did Chris create the most epic dance party I've ever seen, he also took ownership over the flow of the entire event. From the moment our ceremony began, he was in control and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Our entire event was outside, and I was nervous about sound quality, but his equipment was top notch, and all our guests could hear everything perfectly.

You can not go wrong hiring Chris Graves Music as your DJ. I can't imagine what our wedding would've been like without him. Chris will be the first to tell you how lit your dance floor will be, boy was he correct. I knew coming in that a lot of our guest weren't much of dancers. Chris had a the dance floor packed all night, everybody having the time of their life.
Not only is he a fantastic, he is also one of the most genuine human beings we have ever met. We had photographer cancel on us 10 weeks out from our wedding day. Chris went out of his way to get ahold of his friend Loren with Alante photography to see if he would be willing to help us. Within a few days we had a contract signed. These two together are an unbeatable duo. I can't express how much I would recommend both of them. I can't imagine what our wedding would've been like without either of them. It was seriously perfect.

We hired Chris originally for our 270 person wedding and used his services for our final 25 person ceremony. Through the multiple changes that occured this year, Chris never waivered to ensure our day was the best it could be.
