From the start, Frank was super easy to work with. He communicated really well throughout the planning process and helped us feel confident going into the big day. When the wedding came around, he completely nailed it by keeping everything flowing smoothly and jumping in to help when things got a little awkward. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.

What really stood out was how great he was with our guests. He didn’t just play music, he connected with people, cracked jokes, danced, and made sure everyone was having a blast. The energy on the dance floor was amazing, and that was all thanks to him.

We had Frank emcee and DJ at our wedding at Ray's Boathouse. He was amazing to work with from initial booking all the way through to our big day. His professionalism, warmth, enthusiasm, flexibility, and expertise really put us at ease through the entire process. He had an eagle's eye out during our entire event, making sure things ran seamlessly, all while maintaining an upbeat, positive and professional demeanor, mingling with guests, and helping everyone feel so welcomed and excited to be there. Not only is he great at the emceeing part of his job, his music selection was on point! He totally read the room with all of our friends and got everyone hyped. Frank was a great add for our vendor team and wedding day. He was very responsive, talked through our budget and each level of services that he might provide, and gave us recommendations based on our guest count and venue layout for the evening. He set up 3 music locations at our ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour in 3 separate areas of the venue and it was all seamless. He was great about playing our recommended songs we had provided on the online platform he provided and was respectful about ensuring he had announcements on family names, speeches, etc correct prior to the wedding day. Overall, he matched our budget needs, provided a very fun reception and dance party (people were even singing and dancing throughout dinner and dessert!), went above and beyond with service both before and during our wedding day, and was a very positive part of our day!

Frank was amazing! From the first call all the way through our wedding day, Frank was nothing but kind, helpful, personable, and very talented. He learned our friends and family’s names, had a separate call with my dad to coordinate songs for his speech, and was just a joy to work with. We interviewed approximately 6 or 7 DJ services for our Scottish wedding in August. Frank Salerno and DJ Rocco of Sparkle & Wit were by far the clear selection. It was immediately apparent he had the experience in the industry. His charm, charisma and the clarity with which he spoke really made him stand out. And we easily found pricing options that fit our budget.
He also provides a platform for music/song selection and allows you to build out your event in rough timelines or sections. Not all of the music we chose was available however Frank easily navigated this and customized our music as needed. Communication through this portal was simple. Phone conversations ramped up about a month before the wedding as he started to dial in the details of the day. His follow up with other pertinent questions and timing was thorough and communicated very well with our wedding coordinator and officiant and orchestrated a perfect day.
We also had live music incorporated in a bagpiper and drummer. Frank was great in working with them to understand and create transitions, key moments and introductions to compose a wonderful flow throughout the day. He added subtle touches of sound during our vows and handfasting that created an ambiance that highlighted those moments with extra emotion and feeling.
And it got even better. During the reception, Frank was very attentive to us and our guests. It wasn’t over the top at all, but rather subtle touches with guests and remembering their names like an old friend made them feel welcome, well known, and all the while keeping the evening about us. Frank even went as far as running to the bar for us to make sure we had wine in hand as it was tough to break away from visiting our guests.
The music from the ceremony to cocktail hour flowed perfectly and the dancefloor was packed the entire time with a variety of music that fit multiple genres. There aren’t enough words to describe the satisfaction we have in choosing what is truly Sparkle & Wit. We’re proud to have been a customer of theirs and are eager to see their continued success! We enjoyed our wedding so much and the feedback we’ve received from our guests, we strongly feel that Sparkle & Wit was the difference maker in bringing the WOW factor to our wedding. Frank was amazing! We have used him for multiple events. The last was for our annual Holiday Party and it was fantastic. He brought so much energy and I loved that I didnt have to stress about keeping things on track. He played the piano and brought another to play live bass and it added such a great vibe. We did casino night and him adding the extra energy with fun money and getting the people involved was so much fun. I would def recommend him for any event .. big or small.
