Chez Alice was established in 1991 in Princeton, New Jersey on Nassau Street and became known for their delicious food and pastries. In 1997 Kelly Hamdan purchased Chez Alice and for the next ten years grew the business on Nassau Street. In 2006 we moved to 5 Palmer Square West in the Historic District of downtown Princeton.Since Matt Banihani's purchase of Chez Alice in 2007 we have expanded both of our cake and cafe' menus. We have had the same pastry chefs since 1995 and have been gracing the people of princeton with beautiful and tasty cakes and tarts ever since!

My family has been buying cakes from Chez Alice for a decade, so when it was time to buy a wedding cake I knew exactly who I wanted to do it. Chez Alice has so many different interesting cakes available, and they can do decorations as complex or as simple as you'd like. Matt is absolutely great to work with, and we got many compliments on how good the cake tasted!Sent on 01/19/2016

The cake was delicious. Ordering it was the easiest thing we've done during wedding planning. The delivery was free to our venue. We ordered plain white sponge cake to allow our florist to decorate it. The filling had two types of mousse; chocolate and berries. It was the most delicious cake I have ever tried! It was much tastier than the samples in the cafe. It was not too sweet or too fatty. Just perfect balance of texture and flavor! We saved the top, but we ate it right after we came back from the honeymoon. We were dreaming about that cake! We will be ordering the same one for all our future anniversaries:)Sent on 08/25/2015

I don't know where to begin...the cake was the best cake I have ever eaten! We ordered the black and white cake and ordered with ribbon on each tier and a floral cake topper. It was beautiful and delicious!Sent on 07/02/2013
Although we brought the top tier of the cake home "to freeze", we have already eaten it. It was that good!
I've decorated many a Chez Alice wedding cake. They are always amazing.
