Sugar Fetish Cakery is a custom cake design studio located in Piscataway, NJ specializing in wedding cakes, specialty cakes, cupcakes, cookies, dessert tables and more. Our mission is to transfer your vision into extraordinarily unique and delicious dessert. We will always bring special attention to your event and create the most amazing cakes and cupcakes that are sure to wow your guests. Whether you’re looking for a cake for a baby shower or a five-tiered wedding cake, you can be sure that the Sugar Fetish Cakery will be able to create an edible masterpiece for your special event.

Ordering:

We suggest placing your order 4-6 weeks prior to your event date. For short notice orders please call us immediately on the rare chance that we may be available. Our cakes require a minimum of two days to be baked off and decorated. When placing an order, please have an idea of how many servings you would like your cake to be, as well as your theme, colors, and any specific design ideas you would like to incorporate. Your order is confirmed, once a contract is signed and a 50% non-refundable deposit is collected. The remaining balance payment must be completed 14 days prior to cake pickup/delivery or the order is canceled.

Pricing:

Pricing is determined by unique variables, including- serving size and custom design. Our custom cakes start at $175 (approximately 10-12 servings). Since all of our cakes are unique and customized to our client needs, there are no set prices. Cakes are priced according to several different criteria. Our base prices per serving can give you a general idea of the estimated starting price of your cake. The base price includes the layered cake with filling, fondant icing, and very simple decorations. Other factors that add to the total cost of your cake include premium cake flavors/fillings, cake sculpting, gum paste decorations, detailed piping, hand painting, airbrushing, any other intricate design elements, and delivery.

Delivery and Shipping:

Delivery is typically within the tri-state area (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut) however, there is no limit to the distance we may be willing to deliver. The Sugar Fetish Cakery team can be engaged to design and assemble a cake in other states/countries when airfare and expenses are pre-paid by the client. Long distance or out of state deliveries may require special arrangements, so we ask that clients please contact us for detailed information and estimates. Due to the fragile nature of our cakes, we currently do not offer shipping. We can however, ship cookies, cake pops and chocolate covered Oreos.

Tastings/Consultations:

Tastings/Consultations are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-5pm, by appointment only. A non-refundable fee of $50 is required for tastings/consultations, which will be credited towards your order total of $400 or more if booked within one week of the tasting date. During your consultation you and one guest will be given the opportunity to taste our standard cake flavors and present ideas on your cake theme. You can select from four cake flavors and six cake fillings. Tastings are one hour in duration. Additional guests will be $15 per person.
