Cherokee Rose The Venue is a ranch and wedding venue in the greater San Antonio, Texas area. Couples will find this charming ranch 20 minutes from Fredericksburg, 40 minutes from the Cave Without A Name, and one hour from San Antonio.
Facilities and Capacity
As many as 300 guests can join couples on this farm. Century-old oaks with strong foundations provide the perfect location for couples to start their new life together. Couples can wed between impressively tall trees or before an oak tree with branches so wide and full they nearly sweep the ground. The Belle barn is also an option for ceremonies, with two shimmering chandeliers hanging from the wooden beams of the cathedral ceilings. Outdoorsy couples can choose to have their reception celebrated under the stars, with vintage string lights also twinkling overhead. Couples seeking a more rustic touch can host their dinner and dancing in the property’s second barn. The Dolly Rose invites couples and guests to step inside, upon the brick flooring, while still experiencing the outdoors. This is accomplished thanks to the open sides of the barn which, when faced with inclement weather, can be guarded against the elements by canvas.
Couples can celebrate not only with their guests but also with their furry friends, as this farm is pet friendly. Other features and services at this venue include:
Couples can provide their own catering for their special day and their own alcohol, allowing them to choose any menu they’d like without the limitations of the venue selecting their dinner fare. Bartenders employed by Cherokee Rose The Venue will serve the alcohol provided for the reception.
For their ceremony and reception, couples will find a number of available event items and rentals. These may include:

Beautiful Outdoor Wedding
This venue is gorgeous. Mostly open air/outdoor, but with contingencies for bad weather. There is a normal separate bathroom building a little way away from the reception area (be careful if your guests have mobility concerns.) Their recommended vendors were fantastic in the space (no hot kitchen, so they recommended a BBQ buffet catered in, which was great.) The area is somewhat enclosed away from the road so the kiddos had a great time running around. The bridal suite on the property is a two-story house and is an optional feature, but I found it perfect for getting ready before the ceremony and the wedding night. They subcontracted a day-of coordinator (Snap Chic Planning) which was phenomenal. All in all this venue was absolutely perfect for my dream rustic, Texas-themed wedding.Sent on 11/08/2018

We were in love with this venue! All of our guests complemented us on the choice of venue because it was gorgeous! If you're looking for an outdoor venue, you can't get much better than this!Sent on 09/19/2017
Pros: it's beautiful, rustic, spacious.
Cons: it would have been nice to have a place for the groomsmen to hang out or get ready beforehand.
Luckily for us, the weather turned out perfect! But I would recommend using this venue for cooler months because of everything being outside.
