C’est La Vie Cakes was a SLAMDUNK for our wedding cake and dessert table. Courtney is professional, kind, and makes LITERALLY the best of every dessert you’ve ever tasted. C'est La Vie Cakes was recommended to us by Bell Mare. My husband loves baking for others and loves variety we came in uncertain if one white wedding cake was for us. C'est La Vie came up with a design to incorporate our wedding colors into our cake and gave us several cupcake tastings to try. We came up with one wedding cake and several small cupcakes for our big day. The flavors were a huge hit and by the end of the night all the cupcakes were gone and there were only a few slices of cake left. Her blueberry lemon cupcakes were the most popular!

This husband and wife team make the process so easy. Very responsive when I contacted them asking about my needs for my wedding. The in person tasting and consultation was fun and relaxing. My cake was delivered to our venue when we needed it too, they have worked with the coordinator there before so that helped to put my mind at ease. Cake was gorgeous, just like how we wanted it and tasted great.

My cake was so beautiful and honestly even better than I could have ever imagined. The moment I saw it for the first time, I was in complete awe and could not stop talking all night long about how beautiful the cake was!

In my exhaustive search to find the best wedding cupcakes across Chicagoland up the I94 corridor to Kalamazoo, Michigan- I was about ready to give up and stumbled across C'est La Vie Cakes. After my first bite during the tasting - I knew that my search had come to an end! Courtney does an AMAZING job. We ordered 4 different flavors of cupcakes and a small round cake for cutting purposes and everything was delicious. Courtney goes above and beyond to make sure this process is delicious and easy. C'est La Vie will be my go to for any dessert needs moving forward. Thank you, Courtney for being a part of making my wedding so special.

I cannot say enough good things about C'est La Vie Cakes. Courtney was amazing to work with from start to finish. We scheduled our tasting and brought along my maid of honor to her adorable shop. She was the friendliest person and took a ton of notes on what we liked, what we didn't like. She helped us figure out how much to buy as well. The tasting was so much fun, one of the highlights of wedding planning. We got to take home all the things we tasted and ate off it until we were sick.

We didn't have a wedding planner, but she made organizing the drop off super easy. I didn't even see the desserts arrive because I was running all around getting ready. But when I saw them set up, I was stunned. They were GORGEOUS and smelled amazing. My sugar levels crashed about an hour before the ceremony and I was feeling shaky, so my mom brought me a cupcake off the table. It was delicious and it put me back right side up so I could be sugared up and ready for the ceremony.

We completely forgot to confirm we needed trays. Rather than just say 'Oh well' and deliver the desserts hoping we'd figure it out, she brought the cutest trays along with her anyway to make sure the desserts had something to go on.

They were a smash hit. People were obsessed with the cheesecake bites and I had a lemon bite and nearly fainted it was so good. Everyone loved them. I can't wait for the next chance to work with Courtney again just to get my hands on more of her incredible desserts.
