Wedding Videography in South Bend

Amazing quality video - no one else would be able to get this in the Basilica!! They use cameras already placed, in the ceiling and everywhere to get tons of shots and clean fades from one to another. It simply isn't possible to get this quality from anyone else because they wouldnt have as many cameras and they couldn't be in as many places. You also never have to see a camera in your face or blocking guests!! The company isn't the one who owns the equipment, Notre Dame just won't let anyone else use them. Which ensures quality, but also no price competition - so it's pricey!! But we decided we'd rather have one wicked film of our mass with tons of camera angles than a single camera, in our faces, for mediocre to ok quality film. I gave them a 4 for flexibility because I didn't even think to ask them anything special - I wish they had gotten the escorting of the VIPs, which happened just at the beginning of the procession, but they waited for the official procession to start. I didn't even know that I should have asked for that...

Ten years ago, when planning a wedding for one of our daughters, we first encountered the portfolio of Steve Toepp of Midwest Photographics and it knocked our socks off. Unfortunately, due to our lack of experience, we thought photography was one budget area we could scrimp on and we didn't hire Steve. We've regretted it ever since. This past April brought another wedding and another opportunity. Steve Toepp was the first vendor we called! His pictures are amazing--artistic and non-formulaic, they really tell the true story. He's a real team player and also a lot of fun, but not in an obtrusive way. While his rates aren't "cheap" they're not "outrageous" either. Steve's services are competitively priced and well worth it. Hire Midwest Photographics for your event. Steve Toepp is the best.

I'm very late in writing this review, but better late than never! I was looking last minute for a videographer for my daughter's wedding in July 2024 and Jared just happened to be available that weekend. He was very professional, polite, courteous, and above all friendly! He captured EVERY moment perfectly and I didn't even notice him or his associate at all during the entire day...it was like they were invisible lol Not only did they capture the ceremony, reception, & first dances - but also stayed for part of the actual dance and got some priceless video for us. I would most certainly not hesitate to use his services again if in the area. You will not regret booking Basker Cinematography!

Where do I begin?! JVWeddings (Mihkail Cooper) has captured every moment of my happily ever after. My husband reached out to him to film a surprise proposal for me which not only captured our sweet love story but also that moment every girl dreams of... the moment I got to say "yes" to the man of my dreams. After experiencing his genuine professionalism and obviously innate creativity, I knew I had to have him be apart of filming our wedding day. Mihkail Cooper made both my husband and I feel so comfortable. We did not have to worry about telling him what to capture or how to pose. He knew when to give us direction and when to give us the space to bask in each others presence while he captured every moment. Sometimes I forgot he was filming! He had a specific vision that brought our love story to life and produced magic. He was extremely accessible, affordable and timely. No matter how many questions I asked or how many times I asked the same question, he was always patient and kind. Thank you JVWeddings for making it possible for us to re-live those magical moments. Steve and his wife were AMAZING at our wedding. They were both so kind and such a joy to work with. My husband and I are a little camera shy, but we felt totally comfortable taking pictures with Steve, he has a great and kind manner, unobtrusive and genuine. The pictures are truly gorgeous, we cherish all of them. They stayed all day, caught every beautiful moment, and edited them all to perfection. We truly couldn’t be happier :) highly recommend!
