My daughter was married at Switch House on October 5th 2025. First off her and my future son-in-law looked at several venues in the Philadelphia area before deciding on Switch house and ALL of our guests were blown away by the venue, the staff, the professionalism and the beauty of this property!

The property is spectacular, the staff is amazing and the boutique hotel rooms are incredible. There are no words other than the ones I am sharing that can express the delight that my family, friends and future family had to say!

The staff made everything so easy and they were beyond accommodating!

The rooms from the reception, to cocktail hour to dinner were perfect. The flowers, the food, the service. I can go on and on but you truly need to experience a wedding here.

TSH could not have been a more perfect venue. They have a boutique hotel attached to the venue and we stayed there as well as our immediate families, some of our wedding party and other guests! Being able to just head downstairs the morning of our wedding was perfect. The bridal getting ready suite was HUGE and the most perfect spot to get ready in – it also had a bridal dress suite attached to it which was perfect for getting into my dress and some portraits. There is also another suite that is where my husband took some pictures, and where we all were prior to the ceremony. We had a ceremony onsite, which was perfect! Cocktail hour was exceptional – the amount of food and the quality of service is something all of our guests are still talking about! Our Maitre D was incredible – if my drink was close to finished or the ice had melted, I had my drink replaced without even having to ask. They kept us on track throughout the whole day (my day of event coordinator was Erin Quiles and she was fabulous to work with leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day). I cannot stress enough how much my guests loved the ease of the venue (all being in one spot) and how much they enjoyed the services, drinks, and food.

We cannot write enough praise for the Cescaphe team at the Down Town Club-they are truly the pinnacle of exceptional service and treatment. Emily, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely incredible, both on the day of the wedding and throughout the entire planning process. She was so organized, patient, and kind-helping calm our nerves and ensuring that we would have a perfect evening. The chefs outdid themselves, and our families cannot stop talking about the food! My parents love to tell people that when the chefs came out, everyone stopped to give them a round of applause! Our personal and family attendants helped make everything run so smoothly and allowed us to enjoy the night. Cescaphe really is that good!!

My husband and I got married at Down Town Club on 7/12/25. We fell in love with the space immediately when we toured it in Spring '24 and booked it immediately! The space is an architectural gem-- you could put nothing in it and it's still absolutely breathtaking.

As for the planning process with Cescaphe, it was as easy and breezy as could be. We were planning from afar in TN so everything besides our initial venue tour was done virtually. Devan was our 'concierge' who was able to keep us on track with the timeline and provide recommendations. She was always quick to get us answers to any questions and it was nice to have a dedicated member of their team to correspond with!

At the 3-month mark we were handed off to Hannah who was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! If you have the honor of working with her, consider yourself so lucky. She was so responsive and on top of things, and her calming demeanor was perfect for the day of the wedding. Her attention to detail was also incredible. I think she picked up every single little thing I said during our calls.

Our maitre d' was Mu who was equally as impressive as Hannah. I don't think my husband or I had an empty glass in our hands the entire night! Which is also the reason why I only made it to the bar once to see Tim, our head bartender, but from what I heard from ALL of our guests, he was great as well.

All of our guests raved about the food-- the spread for cocktail hour, the entrees, and the dessert spread. Cescaphe really does have it down to a science! If you're thinking about Down Town Club, or I'm sure any of Cescaphe's other venues, I'd highly recommend it!

Absolutely the best wedding I could ever ask for. I was stressed out of my mind and our planner, Kelsey, kept me sane and made sure everything went perfectly. I am so grateful for the team.. obviously Kelsey.. but Mu, Justin & Joanne are others I wanted to mention. My husband and I are so thankful we picked the DTC.. I cannot emphasize how much anyone else should choose this venue and then get mad cause I’m jealous they get to experience the amazing experience we had!

When my now wife and I got engaged, we knew we wanted to be married in Philadelphia. After we expressed this in talking to our families, there was only one wedding group we were told to book with being Cescaphe. As someone who was unfamiliar with Cescaphe, I had only heard lofty things about them. My now sister in law had a wedding with the group and I only heard legendary stories of service and food. Many people who were there had told me it was the "best weeding they had ever been too." Needless to say I had high expectations lol.

When contacting them, I knew they were right immediately. They were so unbelievably responsive. I'm very keen on great customer service, so internally I was feeling special and taken care of. We set up tours of all of the beautiful venues we were interested in, and were given straightforward options with zero BS. When working with other wedding groups I've heard horror stories regarding hidden fees or add ons but not with this company. They were so transparent you could have been illiterate and it made sense.

After personalized tours followed by them answering every question you could think of, we eventually landed on the gorgeous venue located on S. Broad Street called "The Lucy." They worked with us in getting great pricing for our budget, and from there catered everything in their power to make sure our wedding was customized to us. I felt like we were preparing to get married at an all inclusive, with it all being managed by the amazing event coordinator Emily Goodrich. DETAILS PEOPLE. Cescaphe cares about every last one of them. I was stunned to the level of food options and customization of every preference from which flavor of the delicious sorbet we wanted (which I didn't know I needed lol) to the very trim on EVERY layer of the cake. Hell, we even got a customized ice sculpture included where somehow the artist got our own cat in the "LOVE" sign wearing an Eagles hat. Again lol DETAILS.

The wedding day was perfect and magical. We had to pinch ourselves. It was a production but executed exceptionally in every area. Emily, our coordinator made us feel like VIP's with personal assistants. The entire day she made sure we and our parents were waited on exclusively, so no matter the amount "hellos" we made sure to give to all of our guests, we had a drink in our hand and something to eat. Butler service for every second. I have never had this level of service in my life. I seriously cannot make this up.

FOOD. Cescaphe has the best food. Ontop of the 40+ hors d’o'euvres, Cescaphes dinner options made the evening even more special. Every meal was ordered at the table with the temperature of every steak taken directly there as well. I had one of if not the best meal of my life that night. Couples there is a surprise!! Oh yeah and we had a breakfast buffet after dinner. We were stuffed.

In closing I hope every person gets this level of care and thoughtfulness to details on their wedding day. It made it truly magical and created memories we will never forget. It may have been our wedding, but I personally feel that was the best wedding I have ever been too. Other people have told us this lol. YOU DESERVE THE BEST!! Cescaphe knows what they’re doing, and they do it well! The beautiful Ballroom was the perfect venue for us, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our Coordinator, Lilly, was amazing to work with and made our day stress-free. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and we truly felt like the guests of honor. 10/10 recommend!

My husband, Brendan and I just celebrated our wedding day a couple of weeks ago at Vie. When we first got engaged, we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding at one of Cescaphe’s beautiful venues. My sister had her wedding at the ballroom 5 years ago and it was perfect.

Joanna, our event coordinator at Vie, was detail oriented, personable, and so helpful throughout the entire planning process, particularly as we neared our wedding date. She could not have been more pleasant to work with.

Marsi was our maitre d for the night of. She was awesome and made sure Brendan and I had a great experience all around! She even helped my mom and coordinator bustle my dress.

Cescaphe was incredible! We got married at Vie in August. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, even in the heat (we gave all of our guests fans and tissues as they walked in.) Our guests also enjoyed the courtyard throughout the reception for cigar smoking, cornhole, and mingling away from the very busy dancefloor. The venue itself is spacious and well-decorated, with tons of natural light, new wood floors, and the incredible mosaic in the atrium. All of our guests raved about the food (it really is that incredible), the staff (so accommodating!), and the seamlessness of coordination with the Cescaphe trolley. We planned most of the wedding from California, and felt very comfortable working with Joanna who accommodated our schedule and virtual meeting needs. Our maitre’d was Marsi, who was responsive, patient, and kind - she made sure we ate all night and kept us on time for everything. The bridal suite was absolutely necessary - we used it a lot for staging, changing, and taking a moment for ourselves.If you can swing it, Cescaphe is the best!

When my husband and I were venue hunting we had a wish list: a good rain plan, good food, near water and was historic. There are a lot of gorgeous venues in the area, but only one we connected with: Water Works in Philly. We actually both went to Drexel, which you could see from the reception area. Back when we first starting dating, there was a restaurant there, we had even had a date night at the restaurant, so the Water Works had everything lined up. They had the best rain plan because the wedding would be the same rain or shine, which was important to us because we were getting married at a rainy time of the year (and of course it rained on our day). Every person who attended our day just raved about the food (and the bar lol). The best part of our experience at Water Works was the event manager there, Lexi. We absolutely ADORE her. She was thorough, responsive and kind. She was our girl and she made every part of our experience memorable. She could even handle some tough questions and anticipated our needs before we even asked. I could not say enough nice things about her. Every time I looked up she was hustling and moving. She seemed to be in every place at once on our day, attending to us and also our guests and making sure everything went to plan. She really made our day special and I appreciate her so much. Thank you thank you Lexi & the Cescaphe team that made our day magical.
