Central Union Church is just Fabulous! Its natural look creates a magical environment for anyone looking for a grand entrance. Very easy to work with. As with all venues make sure you have a date and try to let them know 8-12 months in advance so that you can actually book it for your self. Nothing new there. Our Photos just came to life inside. Mahalo for everything!

We loved having our wedding ceremony at Central Union Church!

Mrs. Robinson, Central Union Church's Head Wedding Director, did a fabulous job coordinating our wedding ceremony. She has many years of experience and came highly recommended by other friends who were married at Central Union so I was really happy when she was assigned to be our director.

She's very organized and caring- it almost felt like she was a close family friend. She called to make contact with us about a month before our wedding to go over details about our ceremony plans and left her home number in case I had questions about anything. And, she even called the week of the wedding just to make sure I was doing okay. As a bride, it's nice to have a vendor follow up on their own since you're usually the one trying to contact them!

Mrs. Robinson ran a very efficient wedding rehearsal a few days before our wedding to go through the ceremony and had us go through the motions several times so we wouldn't forget. That was very helpful since a formal church ceremony can be nerve wracking since you have to remember where to go/stand, etc.

Reverend Nancy Lockwood was our ceremony officiant. She performed a beautiful ceremony which was both heartfelt and personal despite only meeting her a few days before. During the initial meeting, she asked us about how we met, about our relationship & interests and about our future plans and incorporated this information into our ceremony to make it our own. We really appreciated this.

Overall, I think having our wedding ceremony at Central Union Church was worth every penny. Although it is a little pricey, everyone was very caring and helpful, from the Wedding Scheduler to the Officiant to the Wedding Director. Plus, there's lots of parking, the church property is beautiful and the Main Sanctuary definitely has the wow-factor with it's high ceilings and rich red carpet going down the aisle. Bonus: If you get married in the Sanctuary on a Sunday afternoon, the church will provide the altar floral arrangement in your color scheme at no cost!

The Main Chapel at Central Union is breathtakingly spacious and gorgeous. We were very privileged to have been able to have gotten married there with ceremonial services run by the reverend Ron Ching with support from our brother-in-law pastor Bryan was wonderful. The Hawaiian chant was moving and played a special role in our union. The chapel was cool on a hot day and the long walk from the entrance to the alter was very royal! Central Union Church is very highly recommended to all brides and grooms planning their special wedding day! –Mike and Kristen Nishimura
