Exactly one year ago, we celebrated our big day and we started off our one year anniversary looking through our wedding album. We're eternally grateful that we chose Celia to capture some of our most special and intimate moments from that day. From our engagement shoot to out cake cutting, Celia and her husband took quality photos and paid attention to every single detail (background elements, lighting, etc.) to make our photos look awesome! Celia is a meticulous planner and will work tirelessly from the moment you choose her to make sure you get the photos you want for your big day. More importantly, Celia has a great, positive attitude and helps you get through photos with ease!

Photography was one of the first vendors we booked and after speaking with Celia it was a no-brainer that we wanted her for our special day. From our engagement shoot, to creating our timeline, to the big day everything was such a breeze! Celia was always professional, organized, timely, and most importantly fun! The timeline Celia made for us was amazing and such a huge help for both other vendors and ourselves. The day of, Celia and Charles made everything so perfect- we never felt rushed and we were able to get all the amazing shots we wanted! Our pictures turned out even better than we could have imagined! Every single picture is beautiful and it was so hard to pick our favorites to hang up around our house. Look no further for your wedding photographer! Celia went above and beyond my expectations of a photographer, and I am so so happy I chose her to help capture our big day. First and foremost, she is very on top of communication. She is also so organized.. and as a bride I really appreciated that. She goes to great lengths to make sure she gets to know you and your fiance, understand your overall theme, help with establishing a timeline, and just set your mind at ease for the big day. The weeks leading up to the wedding we spent a great deal of time making sure the timeline worked for everyone, and when the day arrived, I wasn't as worried about rushing from place to place. Her and her second photographer, Charles, are also just genuine and warm people. They both set everyone in my wedding party at ease and had us laughing the entire day. Celia was easily able to manage a large group of people and all of my friends and family couldn't stop singing their praises about how well she handled the whole day. The first thing you notice about her photos are the artistic color and light, and then after planning and working with Celia, you are so thankful for her project management/communication skills to keep timelines rolling and photo lists checked. From the moment I saw Celia's pictures online, I knew she was the photographer for us! Hiring Celia as our wedding photographer was the easiest decision we made during the wedding planning process.

From the first video chat to say hi, Celia was genuine, engaging and truly interested in learning about my husband and me, and which moments of the day were important to both of us to have her capture. This thoughtfulness and caring carried on throughout the whole process and truly shone through in her pictures.
Celia was responsive and prompt with e mails, checking in regularly to make sure everything was on track and to answer any questions I had. She also threw in little surprises along the way which just emphasized her thoughtfulness.
We were lucky enough to have an engagement session with Celia prior to the big day, which was invaluable. The opportunity to get to know each other and learn some classic poses beforehand, meant that on our wedding day there were none of those 'first time nerves' and we were all very comfortable with each other. I have never felt so relaxed getting my picture taken!
Celia provided a comprehensive photo timeline which we were able to use as a guide to plan out our entire day, ensuring that everything ran on time, and allowed for us to hit those golden hour moments for unforgettable couple shots after the ceremony.
Celia and Charles, her husband and 2nd shooter, were wonderful at making sure our families, friends and guests were relaxed throughout the formal pictures, moving through them quickly and efficiently to ensure everyone was able to enjoy cocktail hour. I have never seen my family looking as relaxed, smiling and all with their eyes open, as they did in the shots Celia took. What an achievement!
Throughout the day, Celia and Charles were able to capture candid shots of guests, the venue and décor. They were incredible, making their way around and capturing everything without us even realizing!

My husband's face as I walked down the aisle. My husband and I, in that moment where we made the most meaningful of commitments to each other, with everyone we love looking on. The feelings of pure love and friendship that resonated from our guests during our first dance that could be felt though the pictures. The most subtle capture of my dance with my father which had me sobbing.
We laughed, cried and smiled our way though them all. What a truly incredible gift Celia gave to us with her pictures.

Celia is amazing! She is thorough, honest, and so kind. She is very straightforward in what will work or what won't work. She is extremely organized, as well. I felt like finding a photographer was so difficult. Once I found Celia, everything was a breeze. She also kept me on track with my timeline, responded to all emails, and was very professional. On a personal level, Celia is so warm. She was wonderful to get to know over the past year. Her husband Charles is also great! She was very laid back and approachable on the day of the wedding. Oh Celia, and Charles- where do I begin?! Before starting my review, I want everyone to know my fiance and I met with three photographers before meeting Celia. We were having difficulty finding the right person who wasn't there to sell us on the latest and greatest. We wanted a photographer who we could trust to be our right hand and have our day at their best interest- ENTER Celia. I found Celia while scrolling through Instagram and reached out. From day one, she was incredible. Celia is the perfect amount of "type A" and "just go with it." She is down to earth, personable, kind, focused and honest- a true gem. Her husband, Charles, shoots with her. Their relationship is encouraging to all getting married. They are supportive of one another and make the perfect team. I booked Celia after our first conversation and she began planning with me the next day. She coordinated the best engagement shoot in our favorite beach town, and incorporated events close to our hearts. Celia kept me in line and crossed all her t's and doted her i's BEFORE the wedding day began. The entire day went without a hiccup. **She even drove up two hours away to the town our wedding would be held in, two days before the wedding to scope out the best blooms for our pictures** I cannot say enough good about these two. One of the reasons I am sad that our wedding is over is because I miss planning with Celia! - I hope she knows that regardless of her being a "wedding photographer," she is on-call for all future major Alwell family events. We have such respect for these two!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Celia for a one year anniversary shoot at our home and around Old City, Philadelphia.
