If you want a stress free wedding planning experience, go with Sharon at Celebrations! Sharon was with us through not one but TWO postponed weddings due to covid plus helped so much with our micro wedding. I think she counted over 1,000 emails and we had countless late night meetings. Sharon was so flexible and made everything seem like it wasn’t too much trouble, but I know it was a ton of work! Day of her and Lorin who is also amazing had us all right on schedule. I remember Sharon running up to get me a snack and feeding me a granola bar during pictures. My husband and I said getting a planner was the best decision we made for our wedding. Eternally grateful for Sharon and can’t wait to one day use her for a bar/bat mitzvah for our future children or our next event! So glad to still be able to keep in touch with Sharon as a forever friend.

How do I even begin to explain how much Lorin and Celebrations saved us at every step of the way. I originally hired Lorin summer of 2019 for a long (and later longer) engagement for our wedding January 2021. My wife and I were currently living in California, but planned a wedding outside of Baltimore, so we knew we needed a planner to help coordinate all the details. We connected with Lorin immediately; she's funny, warm, and responsive. Everything we wanted she made happen and every idea we had she could find us multiple quality vendors to execute it. She was very consceientous about the budge and did her best to keep us on track, only going over budget when we cleared it. Although we had a long engagement we never once felt like we weren't one of her priorities, no matter how far away the wedding was.

Working with Lorin was so great we ended up also asking her to do our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch, which made the wedding a glamorous three day affair. Lorin helped every step of the way and I find myself now wishing I could rely on her for my day to day planning haha.

And thanks to Covid the wedding became much farther away! While originally slated to marry in Jan 2021, Covid made that impossible. Lorin talked us through postponing Aug 2020, and while we were all heartbroken, Lorin and Celebrations made it so so easy. Her relationship with the vendors meant we could move our date a year in the future (Jan 2022) without losing a single payment or incurring any fees. While I strongly hope no one else will have to reschedule their wedding like we did, I can say with absolute certainty Lorin is absolutely the planner you want to have your back when sh*t hits the fan.

Although we lived outside of the Baltimore area, Lorin was always available to speak on the phone, over email, or meet with us when in town, or local friends and family on our behalf. I had no idea a wedding (during Covid no less) could be so painless. Additionally when we hit the last couple weeks before our event, and covid diagnoses made the future seem dim, Lorin was the greatest cheerleader. After we spoke with her, no matter how grim things looked, I never worried about if we could pull this off as long as Lorin was around. Thankfully all recovered in time for the wedding that was literally perfect. It was so stressfree and easy with Lorin and Sharon there on the day. At the end of the night when they said goodbye, I genuinely felt sad they wouldn't be a part of our life. For 2.5 years Lorin was a constant, calming, and competent teammate when planning this wedding, and we were so sad to see her go.

Literally Celebrations is worth any amount. A planner is a must have for a wedding (esp in Covid times!) and we were so so lucky to have found Lorin and been able to rely on her. I can't imagine a better person for the job. Thanks again Lorin!!

Seriously, we don’t know how people have weddings without Lorin’s help. During planning, problems were only revealed once solutions were in hand, family drama was quelled before it could get out of control and personal requests were implemented with care and professionalism. On the day, we were confident that we had the best vendor team in place and had peace of mind that everything was being taken care of. We cannot thank Lorin and Sharon enough for helping us have the best wedding we could imagine. They are the team you need for your big day and they should be the first people you hire after you get engaged!

Sharon and Lorin were invaluable resources when planning the rehearsal dinner. I am not from MD, so I had no idea where to begin! They helped me with everything from venues, menus, budgets and even calming my nerves. They were responsive, patient and an absolute delight to work with.
