Casual Gourmet

Casual Gourmet provided us with a wonderful experience from the planning and tasting to our wedding celebration event. The set up, tableware, the food, the bars, the drinks, the service --it was all outstanding. We were so pleased with it all. It made the event and evening so wonderful and enjoyable. Amidst the craziness of the day, I remember feeling like the staff were on top of it all, that the cocktails, food, wine, desserts and all else were being served and moved around so smoothly, and all of our guests were being taken great care of. Would highly recommended.

Casual Gourmet was amazing! They definitely were organized and listened to our wants/needs with no issues. They were able to provide an extensive list of foods to choose from within our budget. Everyone from our wedding said the food was so tasty!

From the moment we spoke with Mary on the phone, we knew we made the right choice with The Casual Gourmet. This was confirmed when we met Mary in person at our menu tasting and experienced how incredible the food was firsthand.

On our wedding day, the team executed everything flawlessly—exactly as discussed—and went above and beyond to take care of every detail. They made me feel like a true guest at my own wedding, which is the best feeling. Because of them, we had such an enjoyable experience from start to finish, both throughout all of the planning and on the big day itself. Mary and her team really worked with us, answering every questions and accommodated requests throughout the whole process and helped us make our day feel as "us" as possible.

Nick and I already knew we were going to love our meals, but it was great to hear so many of our guests rave about the food—both throughout night and even weeks later! Don't even get me started on the cake; we had so much fun hand picking the flavors and mousse for every tier, and when I got to see the fully decorated cake on wedding day... just wow. It was everything I had hoped for. We can’t thank The Casual Gourmet enough for making our day so memorable and being so great at what they do. We’d work with them again in a heartbeat!

Casual gourmet food a phenomenal job at our wedding. They went above and beyond, courteous, understanding and very professional. The setup was beautiful, the good was excellent and the service was beyond reproach. I would definitely recommend!!!

The casual gourmet MADE my wedding - I can't thank them enough. Not only did this team craft my husband and I's favorite meals (Boston style steak tips, salmon, and pesto pasta), but they are the kindest and most professional team there is. I truly cannot recommend them enough. Mary and Cassidy were there if we had questions/concerns and even helped with our timeline! We could not recommend the Casual Gourmet more. We chose them because they had previously catered other family member's weddings and we were always so impressed. As expected, we were thrilled with our decision to have them at our wedding. They are quick to respond, flexible, and gave great insight and things to consider when planning our wedding. When Mary and her team arrived to the venue the day of our wedding, I felt like I blinked and everything was set up perfectly despite us being a bit unorganized on our end. We highly recommend Casual Gourmet. Our guests loved the food and they were fantastic to work with at every stage of the planning process.

Olive was hugely helpful in working out tent, rental, layout and timing logistics for me as I had not been to the venue before. There was a hurricane predicted and she had lots of suggestions for managing the weather for our outdoor event, but the day turned out to be beautiful. When she arrived for the event, however, the wind had picked up and before I even got there she had gotten the tent company back on site to secure the sidewalls and cook tent so the wind was not an issue at all! Aside from the logistics, the food was SUPERB! The sit down dinner was three courses, each better than the previous and our guests ate every bit. We served a second dinner with food stations afterwards for the welcome party and everyone loved it. The best lobster roll and fantastic crab cake sliders were highlights! How Olive got such 5 star food out of a cook tent I will never know, but it was truly amazing, and I highly recommend Casual Gourmet.

For this father of the bride Mary and her staff were outstanding. The guests raved about the food (it was excellent). They handled all the decorations, both setting up and taking down, and had everything pulled together at the end of the evening. They made a special evening very easy and let everyone have a great time. Thank you Mary.

Casual Gourmet did an outstanding job for our daughter's wedding. They were very well organized, professional, and paid attention to all the details. It was a pleasure working with them from our first phone calls to the final glass of wine poured!
