Perfect caterer for Cape Cod wedding

I got married up in Truro at a venue that requires you to bring everything yourself (rent tent/tables, bring in catering, mobile bar/etc). Custom / Chapins Catering was recommended by my planner and I am so happy we went with them! My venue has didn’t even have a kitchen so I needed an incredibly experienced catering company that could help set things up / break things down. They luckily had been to my venue before so already knew what to do and did an amazing job at keeping the flow of the wedding going. Megan who helped organize everything was a pleasure to work with and so responsive. Everyone from the chefs to the staff were so professional and sweet during our wedding and the food came out even better than I imagined! We did family style dinner with a classic Cape cuisine that of course incorporated lots of seafood and everything was so delicious. Our guests were raving about the food. I cannot thank everyone from custom catering enough for all their hard work and they played such a big role in making our wedding day go so seamlessly. if you are looking for a wedding caterer, look no further!

Easy and fun

We are still ridding the high from our October wedding with Chapins Catering at Chapins, still receiving compliments on the amazing food, staff and atmosphere. My guests can’t stop talking about the day!!!! From the beginning chef Kevin and Megan were all over every detail. I had an idea for a passed app that I once saw and wanted it recreated for the wedding. The execution was perfection and my guests and I loved it. The staff catered to our guests while making them feel at home, my husband and I were so comfortable the staff felt like family! Our puppy was part of the wedding and staff took the best care of her when it was time for speeches, dancing or just a break, totally wasn’t their job but ANYTHING we needed they were there every step of the way. After all the stress and planning I told my husband I will NEVER plan another wedding/vow renewal again. A week later we both said should we plan a renewal for 1 yr or 5 yrs with Chapins. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. We can’t thank you enough Megan and Chef Kevin, you guys are a dream with a dream team thank you for making my vision come true 🥰🥰🥰 See you at The Chip in 5 years for our renewal!!!!!!!!

Chapins was the best part of our wedding

Very honestly, my husband and I had food ranked last on our list. Whenever you attend a wedding the food is, so-so.

We could not have been MORE impressed with Chapins catering. Everything was impeccable.

Every meal was hot, the appetizers were FLOWING, and the late night sacks we’re PERFECT on the way to the bar.

I truly wish I could do the day over again to just simply enjoy the food.

Their staff was fantastic always coming up to us asking if we wanted/needed anything specific.

Chapins truly was one of our favorite parts of our wedding.

I hope we go to another wedding with them as catering, so we can do it all again!

Awesome experience with Violet's Catering!

Violet's catering did an awesome job for our July 2023 wedding! We were able to have a range of entrees at our buffet and had lots of guests note how much they enjoyed the food. They were even kind enough to re-create a family recipe for one of our appetizers, which was one of my favorite parts of our wedding! The catering staff was so great and super friendly and Megan went above and beyond to pull it all together! Thank you!!

Unbelievable!

From start to finish, Chapin's Catering was amazing! Meghan was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always on point and thought of everything that we could possibly need from catering to even day of coordination of our wedding. The service was fantastic, and every aspect of the catering services went as well as we could have hoped. To quote our friends "This is the best wedding food, I've ever had!" We opted for the lobster rolls, bacon wrapped scallops, chicken satay, spring rolls, and risotto balls for our appetizers and the tenderloin, baked stuffed shrimp, and butternut squash ravioli for our entrees. Every piece of food was more delicious than the last. We would highly suggest Chapin's for catering any event, but especially for a wedding.

Delightful Wedding Experience

Chapins Catering is the entire package when looking for a crew for catering. The experienced team made my wedding planning seamless, easy, and fun! They were wonderful to work with.
Megan was beyond helpful and made sure every detail was perfect. They exceeded my expectations. The food was AMAZING. I am still running into guests who continue to rave about it. We did a stations wedding and they set it up so beautifully. I would 100x over recommend the Chapins Catering team for any event or wedding!

Perfect Cape caterer!

Chapin’s catered our wedding reception in June, and we couldn’t have been happier! Over the years I have been to the Chapin’s restaurant many times, and the food has always been good, but Chapin’s catering was above and beyond all of my expectations. The appetizers were delicious, we had guests who had never been to the Cape before and had their first (3) lobster rolls during cocktail hour, along with scallops wrapped in bacon, and beef wellington just to name a few. The presentation was perfect, shrimp cocktail served in a little martini glass with cocktail sauce at the bottom? Can you get any cuter?! The mashed potato bar was a hit, and so much fun to let people add their own toppings. But, in addition to having awesome food presented so nicely, the wait staff could not possibly have been any better! They were so accommodating, and friendly to all of our guests, and even seemed to be enjoying themselves dancing around to the music as they poured drinks, delivered food, and cleared the tables. Our guests are still talking about the amazing food (and wait staff) from our wedding. I would definitely recommend Chapin’s catering for all of your events, your guests will thank you later!

The best food on the Cape!

We have been going to Chapin's restaurants for years, so, when my fiancé and I got engaged, there was never a question that Jimmy and his staff were going to cater our wedding. Although I knew how amazing the food was going to be, it STILL left me speechless at our tasting. We had three separate entrees, 7 appetizers, the chowder bar (we ran out TWICE!) and mashed potato bar (highly recommend!). I cannot tell you how many of our guests came up to us at the wedding and the following week to say how unbelievable the food was - most said that it was the best wedding food they've ever had and that is the truth. If you are getting married on the Cape, there is no other caterer you should book than Chapin's - I promise you that you will not regret it!

I cannot say enough how impressed I was with the food from Chapins. When we went for the tasting, I could not believe the variety of the food and how amazing it all was. We got to pick and choose anything we wanted! At the actual wedding, the food was even better if that's even possible! I do not even like sea food and I couldn't get enough of the baked stuffed haddock and the bacon wrapped scallops. They were to DIE for! We also had the mini beef wellingtons which were melt in your mouth good. Our guests raved about both the passed appetizers and the dinner buffet. Many of my guests commented on how huge of portions they received! The only negative thing I have to say is that I didn't get a chance to eat more of everything on my wedding day or take a doggy bag home! I was extremely happy with Kevin, all of the cooks, and all of the servers. They made our wedding feel like a 5 star dining venue. I would absolutely recommend the Chapins crew for any Cape Cod wedding!!!

Chapin's Catering was just amazing! The wedding was 2 months ago and we are still talking about the delicious appetizers and entrees! Connie and her team were friendly and professional. I planned a destination wedding on the Cape from California and I could not have done it without Connie's help. She offered advice and suggestions that were so helpful. Her team knew all our wedding day wishes and made sure everything was perfect. The day ran like clockwork and there was not one problem the whole day. Our wedding was beautiful and the food was incredible and I give Connie and Chapin's Catering all the credit. I can not recommend them enough. Great experience!

I met this fabulous group of catering professionals at a large wedding over a year ago that we did together. They were phenomenal! Their catering team is led by Executive Chef, Kevin Violet. His approach is creative, innovative, and service oriented. One of our favorite things about him is how approachable and hands on he is with all his clients. A refreshing change from the chefs that are difficult to deal with and unapproachable. The rest of the Chapins catering team is personable, professional and dedicated to client service. Working with them is not only an enjoyable experience for me and my team of planners but they exceed my clients expectations every time. Chapins focuses and dedicates their catering services to one special event per day putting quality above quantity every time. If you are looking for a fun place to take the family for dinner on Cape Cod visit Chapins Restaurant in Dennis which is open year round. In the summer months, Dennisport is home to their more casual restaurant, Chapins Fish n Chips. In the off season they have hosted weddings and rehearsal dinners there for some of my clients. It is now one of my favorite hangouts when I am not working events! Don't wait to long to check them out for your next event as they book up quick!
