Our journey together started when she took my college graduation photos at Purdue. During that session, she snapped a few pictures of me and my then-boyfriend, and I told her how much I loved working with her. She looked at me and said, “Call me when you get engaged!” That moment stuck with me, and when the time came, I was so excited to reach out to her again. Having her capture both our engagement and wedding in Chicago felt so special, and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else behind the camera.

Cassie has now shot my high school senior photos, my college senior photos, and now my engagement and wedding photos. I can’t say enough great things about Cassie. Cassie is a dream to work with, she went above and beyond to capture both our engagement and wedding photos. We had to postpone our wedding because of COVID and Cassie was incredibly understanding and helped us find a new date that would fit her schedule. We setup a FaceTime meeting with her and as soon as we hung up, we instantly knew we had to have her as our Wedding photographer! Her talent speaks for itself, as you can see in every single photo she takes! Her personality makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, but she brings out the fun and love between you as a couple! Once we had taken our engagement photos with Cassie, we knew there was no one we would trust more to take our wedding photos! Cassie not only is extremely talented behind the camera, she is also extremely organized! She set the schedule for our entire wedding day, which every vendor followed because it was so detailed! We had a consultation before our wedding day to go over photos we really wanted and she nailed it! It cannot be an easy task to wrangle people during cocktail hour for family photos, but she got every photo we requested! We received countless compliments on how amazing our photos turned out! As if her technique and lighting wasn't enough to have me sold, her personality sealed the deal. Of course I wanted a photographer that could capture the big moments, but I also needed a photographer to have an eye for the not so obvious moments. Those candid moments that we may have not completely remembered with the fast pace of the day were very important to us. We also needed someone who would be able to understand our quirky and fun loving personalities. Finding a photographer was difficult. Trusting Cassie was easy.

Engagement photos were a breeze. Cassie made us feel comfortable and photogenic in no time. Understanding our style and dorky mannerisms, she captured the BEST photos.

On our wedding day Cassie was more than a photographer, she felt like a piece of the puzzle. She seemed eager to help and make the day perfect. She was understanding to our "fly by the seat of your pants" wedding day style, but reminded us when it was time for planned photos we asked for. The quality of each picture (and let me tell you, there are A TON) is beyond beautiful.
