This is the most beautiful wedding location in Missouri! The winery is both elegant and relaxed, and the staff is amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful and stole our hearts right away. Dania, the winery manager, went above and beyond our expectations. She took so much stress off of our wedding planning and was so helpful, we couldn't of had such a perfect day without her help. The view at Casa de Loco is gorgous! Even though we were allowed days to set up, very little decorating is needed because of the natural beauty and personality of the place. The set up is perfect for a wedding AND reception. We didnt even worry about the weather, we knew that even with rain we could hold the wedding inside the beautiful reception building. It was especially great that our family and wedding party were able to stay at the winery before and after the wedding. Our guests loved the venue and many have told us they want to visit the winery again, and stay in the winery's amazing rooms. A wedding at Casa de Loco, big or small, is sure to be beautiful and amazing. The great thing about Casa DeLoco, that makes it so different from any other winery, (besides its beauty and personality) is that a reception here could be easily held with or without alcohol because of its great set up.
I would highly reccommend Casa de Locoto any couple for a wedding, party or simply a romantic relaxed weekend away.

Dayna, Larry and the rest of the staff at Casa de Loco were wonderful. The site is breathtaking and as soon as we saw it, we looked no further for a wedding location. We decided to have both the ceremony and reception there. The staff was very helpful with getting things organized and were very prompt to respond to any phone calls or emails. They've had quite a few weddings and other events at Casa, so Larry and Dayna have a lot of experience to fall back on and it shows. We had one of the largest events/weddings that the venue had done, but things still went very well. They're constantly doing improvements to the property and I can't wait to go back sometime to see how things have changed. I'm not sure if they still have the same rental policies, but we were able to have the rooms the entire week before the wedding, so we had plenty of time to decorate and get everything set up. We even held the rehearsal dinner there and got a lot for the rental fee. I would hold another event there in the future if I could. If you want to have your wedding at the Lake of the Ozarks, then you really need to take the time to visit Casa de Loco and see it for yourself. You won't look anywhere else!

We stayed in room 4 Sat. night. Pizza was great. We found the room unclean. The dishes were nasty with coffee grinds in the creamer dish & each corner had 5-6 dead spiders. We found the living spiders a hoot. The scorpions joined the party too. The Jacuzzi tub didn't work even though we explicitly confirmed it had one twice before booking the room. After we found it didn't work we checked & there were bad reviews for that room/issue as far back as February. I contacted Larry for a part refund.1st time he said the cleaning lady was right beside him & they were going to check & call me back. 1 hour later no call so I called him. He said she had been at the cottage cleaning & when she was done he would go look & call me. I waited then 2 more hours with no call. I called him to find he was out of the office. So unless you want to pay $80 + tax&tip for a room you can get at motel 8 minus the bugs then don't waste your money. I am contacting the BBB tomorrow.
