Couples can choose from one of three historic venues when hosting their wedding through the Lemp Mansion in Saint Louis, Missouri. The pet-friendly venue was once home to the Lemp family, who made their fortune as some of the first brewers in Saint Louis. The 33-room mansion was already impressive when built and William J. Lemp, Sr. turned it into a true Victorian showplace using his brewery fortune. Now, the Mansion offers exceptional dining, overnight accommodations, and event space for couples and their guests.

Facilities and Capacity

The venue features three spaces - The Gardens of the Lemp Mansion, Lemp's Grand Hall, or Lemp's loft - for couples to hold their wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, or rehearsal dinner. The Gardens of the Lemp Mansion features one of the largest, privately owned gazebos in the city and can be combined with the tented patio creating a large, private area surrounded by black wrought-iron fencing; perfect for a ceremony, reception, or both. Lemp's Grand Hall features original hard maple floors, a large bar, historic decor, and a deck that overlooks the historic Lemp Brewery. The Hall can accommodate up to 230 guests. Finally, Lemp's loft is a unique, historic space that once served as the hayloft for Lemp Brewery Percheron horses, and has sine been renovated to accommodate private special occasions. Couples may invite up to 110 of their closest friends and family. An elevator and parking lot are available for both Lemp's Grand Hall and Lemp's Loft.

Services Offered

Lemp Mansion is covered by liability insurance for each of their events, and can assist couples by providing an event planner as well as all-inclusive packages for their occasion. Venue staff is on hand to help set up and clean up before, during and after the event. While they can provide catering, the Lemp Mansion does allow couples to bring their own outside vendors for particular wedding needs, such as florals, outside cake, or photography.

Cuisine

The catering team at Lemp Mansion can assist couples with their reception, cocktail reception, dessert, hors d'oeuvres, and bar needs through their experienced and capable staff. Couples can choose to serve from buffet, family-style or plated menu options after a tasting to decide on their menu. Items such as chairs, tables, barware, china, flatware, glassware, and linens are also available. The venue holds a liquor license, and bartenders may serve from behind an open, cash, or limited bar. Beverages they can offer to guests include:

Accommodation

Once home to the wealthy Lemp family, couples and their guests may book the Mansion's well-appointed and exquisitely decorated rooms for an overnight stay. Rooms include the Lavender Suite, William Suite, Elsa Suite, or the two-room Louis and Frederick Suite.
