My husband and I hired Carsten to do our engagement photos, and we loved her soooo much that we hired her for our wedding too!!! And I would hire her again and again!

For starters, Carsten is the kindest, sweetest, most professional, reliable, responsive, thorough, thoughtful, patient, talented human!!! From the very initial meeting, we feel in love with her amazing character. She really took the time to hear what we wanted and what our needs were, and she made it happen! She really did work with us throughout the whole process to make sure our photos would be perfect. Not to mention, Carsten's photos are so amazing and beautiful!! We are so, so happy with just how lovely she made both our engagement and wedding photos!! For both our engagement and wedding photos, neither of us were really sure what do, but Carsten coached us the whole time and made sure we had a blast! When we got our wedding photos back, we were so impressed by the amount, variety, and beauty of the photos. And just how hard she worked to make sure our day was captured so magnificently!! And she returned our photos to us so quickly!

From the get-go, we felt very comfortable and very confident leaving our engagement and wedding photography into Carsten's very capable and kind hands. She went above and beyond what we asked and hoped for!! For both our engagement and wedding photos, Carsten over-delivered in ways that really blew our minds. We can't rave enough about how much we love Carsten! And so so happy that she was our engagement and wedding photographer!!!

She takes the time to get to know you as a couple (we did our engagement photos and wedding photos with her) and makes sure you are comfortable and just captures every beautiful moment.

We had our engagement photos taken at Caspers Wilderness Park and the beach by The Ocean Institute in Dana Point months before the wedding. She was totally into our vibe we wanted for the pictures and they came out perfect. Carsten sent the link to both me and my husband to check out the edited photos. Turn around time is pretty fast and all done digitally unless you previously request prints through her.

Our wedding was picture perfect thanks in good part to Carsten and her team of assistants for the day. They know how to blend in with the crowd and direct those who need extra guidance with posed pictures. Super professional though! We got our sneak peeks within 24 hours and instantly fell in love with them. Thank you so much for making our memories absolutely magical!

They don’t make enough stars to rate Carsten she was amazing on our special day capturing every moment we could think of .. her quality is unmatched she was genuine patient and understanding with us .. we will be using her for all our life events

I hired Carsten precovid to do my wedding post covid. We ended up changing wedding plans like everyone else in California. We switched states and made it a smaller gathering. Carsten was the only vendor I NEEDED to still have, her talent is unmatched. She was so understanding and immediately made travel accommodations. She went over the new contract with me and was able to keep it at original quote by moving a few things and replacing it with her travel cost (she found the best rate). Even though we took off things like photo booth and second photographer (micro wedding - not necessary) I didn’t have the feeling like I was missing out on anything because of how well she manages the day of. She was with me right when glam started (10am) and stayed till 10pm when we forced her to not work another moment! She shimmied between grooms room and brides suite to capture beautiful images and lasting memories. All of these amazing qualities aside.. when we saw our photos we were shocked, they were the most stunning photos all of us (including our Marriott venue) had ever seen. Marriott even ended up using some our photos for their website.
She got our finals to us in 1.5 weeks - 700+ photos edited to perfection. Then created and mailed us our professional photo album - which was included in our contract - a few months later. She’s just great at what she does and has fun doing it. We get one chance to document this moment In life and if the photographer isn’t on point - that’s what you’ll have for the rest of your life to look back on. I would choose her again in a heartbeat, for any event.

We originally planned to have our wedding in SoCal, but when Covid hit, we had to change plans to Central Oregon. Carsten was the first vendor we talked to who led off the conversation by putting our minds at ease saying "I'll refund you fully regardless of what my contract says". She didn't have to do that, but it was incredibly kind and speaks to her character. We decided to bring Carsten up to Central OR for the wedding as a result and seriously cannot say enough about our experience working with her. Carsten was completely in control, very well prepared, handled our crazy family with ease, and the pictures seriously speak for themselves. We'll have them for the rest of our lives to look back on and up around the house. The value, professionalism, and quality we got from Carsten were all top level, we can't recommend her enough for your wedding!

I highly recommend Carsten for your wedding photography! She did our engagement shoot and wedding and I couldn’t be happier with how all of our pictures came out. They are truly timeless and Carsten managed to capture all of the emotions of our big day. She was an amazing presence during the wedding and truly professional. My husband and I got married in June and Carsten was our photographer. We both have friends that are professional photographers in the wedding business. We consulted with them for our decision on our photographer and they were all impressed with Carsten. After meeting few photographers, I knew right away Carsten was the one. She was warm, friendly, and professional. Carsten is one of those people when you meet them you just want to be their best friend. she is very talented and will make you have genuine smiles because she is making you laugh with her "photographer lingo" . for example: "Smell your hair" or "walk with one foot in front of the other, like a tight rope" and her reassuring you with, "I promise this will look good in the photos". You feel ridiculous and laughing, but when you see the photos you look amazing! She was also very quick getting photos back. It took 4 days to get our engagement photos, and less than a month to get our wedding photos. She also gave us a sneak peak of 12 photos the next morning after our wedding (that was so amazing).
