Caroline was such a comfort to have our side during what could have easy been a stressful day- she kept us calm and gave us the perfect opportunities to spend some alone time together and reflect on the day. We havent seen the photos yet, but I have no doubt they will be gorgeous. She was fun, fast and super enjoyable to spend the day with. She brought an amazing second shooter at our request, and worked to make sure that her second was as capable and talented as her- we felt so lucky to have two brilliant photographers to capture our day. We cant wait to see the photos!

Caroline Ghetes is absolutely wonderful! She preserved so many beautiful moments of my engagement and wedding. Caroline is worth the investment. Her talent is evident.

BEFORE THE WEDDING:
Caroline replied to my e-mails within just a few days, and was patient with me as we went through two location changes, booking the final venue just one month before the wedding. Before the wedding she asked us to fill out a survey, giving her insight into how we met, the style of the wedding, whether or not we wanted formal family portraits, and some of our general likes, dislikes, and hobbies. I believe this helped give her a good idea of who we are, especially since we did not meet with her in person in advance.

DURING THE WEDDING:
When you book with Caroline, she is always the one who will show up to shoot your wedding. She is the main photographer but her husband, Alin, is her second shooter. At our wedding she also brought Courtney, her intern. The three of them were able to cover the wedding from various angles and perspectives during the day. They were all professional, but blended in with the guests so that we didn't ever feel as though we were being stalked by the paparazzi. They moved quickly through the formal shots with our family and wedding party and did a great job giving clear directions for poses.

AFTER THE WEDDING:
Because Caroline is a solo photographer, not working for a photography company, all her work is done by her, by hand. This, in conjunction with being a stay-at-home mom to four little ones, puts a hefty turnaround time on the completed photos. It's definitely worth the wait, though! We got to see a preview of the the photos about a month after the wedding, then about three months later we were sent a link to a password-protected site where we could view all of the photos from the wedding and share the link with our guests. From this site we could order prints. A couple weeks later we received our photo cd and prints in the mail, beautifully and carefully packaged. Caroline also submitted photos of our wedding to a popular wedding blog, as well as to our wedding venue.

THE PHOTOGRAPHS:
Caroline's photography is amazing. We love the work she does, but also appreciated that her photographs of our wedding were supplemented with pictures from Alin and Courtney. The extra perspectives are wonderful, but the photos are still all edited by Caroline, so there is fluency to the style.

There were a couple of shots that I would have liked to have seen, but didn't, however these were few and were fairly insignificant photos. Caroline got beautiful photos of my dress, our kiss, the flower girls, the cakes, my Daddy praying, our dances, and all the "major" photos one would expect. She also provided us with lots of photos of the guests, and many of the details, such as the table decor, each of the girls' bouquets, and my Grandma fastening my pearls around my neck. We received 400 photographs from our wedding and they're each beautiful and professionally and lovingly edited.

THE CONCLUSION:
I would highly recommend Caroline Ghetes Photography to anyone who loves beautiful photographs and wants gorgeous visual memories to treasure from their wedding.

When searching for a wedding day photographer, I wanted someone who was able to truly capture emotion within the photos and also has an artistic eye for detail. I was blown away by Caroline's portfolio and after speaking with her over the phone, her friendly demeanor assured me she was the perfect photographer to capture our day.

I could not have been more pleased with the results. Caroline and her husband Alin (who is a fabulous 2nd photographer) were early to the wedding site so that they could scout the location and find the hidden gems. They moved seamlessly throughout the day - sometimes I even forgot they were there, except when looking back through pictures and going, wow, how did they capture that moment! They were flexible to our needs, but also offered creative suggestions for couple shots and family portraits.

After the wedding, Caroline kept me up to date with the progress of our shots, and also landed a fabulous feature on StyleMePretty.com! The photos were so beautiful, and everything we wanted. She captured the details beautifully, from the crystals hanging from the trees, to the lace detail on my gown. Even more important for us, she captured the emotion in each photo - the tears, smiles and embraces. The pictures tell a story.

Finally, the work and heart she put into the presentation of our photos was outstanding. She uses all eco-friendly packaging and it comes artfully prepared.

I highly recommend Caroline. In simple words, she rocks.

Caroline Ghetes was a wonderful photographer to work with. She is very talented and professional! My wedding pictures truely repesent every magical moment that occured at my wedding. As I look back at them now, I'm still amazed at how beautiful they are. My family and friends rave about how great my wedding pictures are to this day!! The packaging that Caroline used to send my pictures to me in was so thoughtful and cute and professional! Carloine is very creative and has a great eye for capturing important moments.

My now-husband loves photography as a hobby and I always have too, so finding a great photographer was one of the most important things for us for our big day. We looked for a really long time and I had a ridiculously long spreadsheet I used to compare all of the photographers. I really didn't know what to do because I didn't 'love' any of them unless they were ridiculously expensive. It was getting to be frustrating until we found Caroline on the WPJA website. As soon as we saw her pictures on her website and blog, we knew she would be perfect. Her photojournalist style was exactly what we were looking for - she captures all the moments perfectly. And she had a photo booth (run by her great husband) which was an added bonus! We couldn't be more pleased with how our pictures turned out!! It is important to know when someone is truly talented versus just making their websites look good online or with photoshop, that's why it was important to us to take our time and research a good photographer, a legit one. It's not common to be 8 months pregnant, fly 3000 miles and photograph a wedding for 15 hours straight. But Caroline, being the superwoman she is, made it happen! On top of being so creative and having such unique style, she was so patient the entire day with everyone. It's such a blessing to have such an important day, like our wedding, captured so beautifully.
