We were given a list of photographers from our wedding planner and landed on Carley for her unique ability to make photos feel very real, honest, but still timeless and classy. She absolutely delivered this on our wedding as well! We had a specific vision in mind with our photography as my husband is very particular with photo editing for wedding photos, and we were getting married outside in December. In addition, I had been married once already and also was feeling very selective with our options. Carley was absolutely the right choice for us, as we got married in a full snow storm on top of a mountain, and she handled it with joy and enthusiasm. I love how she takes the time to get to know you as a couple in order to better understand what photos you want. For example, we were not pressured to take hours and hours of family photos as we indicated we wanted to focus more on other elements of the wedding, such as the first look and ceremony shots. We are DJ company based in the Seattle area and we worked with Carley at The Lodge at St Edwards Park last April. As the DJ, we have the ability to interact with all the vendors and see how the flow of the evening is going. It's so appreciated when vendors make life easier for others, and Carley does just that! After looking at a ton of wedding photographers websites, I knew I had my heart set on Carley. I was so scared she'd be out of our (tight) budget that I almost didn't even send a message, but I'm so glad I did. We got on a call and talked about me and my partner, how we met and why we decided to get married, what I liked about her work, all the good stuff. She sent us over an incredibly thoughtful, personalized proposal that gave us a lot of flexibility in price. Even though she was already booked for another wedding on the day, we were able to hire her and have an associate shooter. Carley even sent me several galleries shot by associates or a mix of her and associates to help me make a decision. I have absolutely no regrets. Carley is so thoughtful and kind, and helped us evaluate what we wanted to capture the most on our day.

We adored the associate photographer she sent. We had so much fun on our wedding day, got tons of STUNNING sneak peak photos, and Carley sent us the entire gallery months before I expected it. I seriously want to cover my walls in these pictures. I look at them and see the love between me and my partner, us and our friends and family. I see and remember the amount of fun we had. Your pictures will look like the galleries on her website. It doesn't matter if you get married somewhere stunning or humble, she will make it look like a fairytale -- YOUR fairytale.

Seriously, just a 10/10 in every way. Lots of people look back at their wedding and feel silly about the money they spent, but that is not the case here (and also her price is super reasonable, especially considering her experience and the sheer number of photos she hand edits). I couldn't be happier with what she delivered, and I absolutely would do it all again.

Carley did an incredible job capturing our wedding and doing all of the behind the scenes work to figure out how put us at ease while still getting all the shots! That started with the 'engagement shoot' where we met Carley and she made us feel very comfortable during a forest photo shoot which we were complete newbies at. She was transparent about pricing and timing, and worked with us to create a streamlined day-of itinerary to incorporate all the types of photos we wanted captured.

There are way too many things to list in a single review about how thrilled we are to have had Carley with us on our wedding day. TL;DR: Hire her NOW!!

To give you a long explanation, she is an absolute gem. My husband and I spoke to a handful of photographers to really get a sense of who we wanted to work with. We knew it was important to have someone that we really vibed well with, but since we got engaged moments before COVID started, meeting vendors in person was not an option. Having our first meeting with Carley, even via Zoom, we knew she was the perfect photographer for us. She was warm, she was light, she had a sense of humor, and we were immediately put at ease.

We booked a wedding package with her that included an engagement shoot, which is well worth it. We loved being able to get to know Carley before our wedding day, and we had such a blast. She knows exactly how to place you and pose you in a way that feels natural and highlights our connection. The 45-minute shoot felt like it flew by and we were so happy to have the time with her to chat and relax. She got our photos back to us way faster than I expected and even sent a couple of sneak peeks days after the shoot!

Fast forward to the end of 2020 and with no end to COVID in sight, Carley worked with us on rescheduling our wedding date and even went so far as to prioritize our wedding to work with us directly! This was above and beyond, especially since I know she was already booked out into 2022 at that point. She is a POPULAR lady for good reason.

When the day finally rolled around, it felt like working with a close friend that we hadn't seen in a long time but immediately picked up where we left off. She immediately took the pressure off what I always imagined to be a stressful and overly-posed experience of wedding portraits. Everything felt natural and fun. She captured not just the important visuals of the day but also the emotions BEHIND those images. I can tell in each of the photos that this was the happiest day of our lives.

I would 100% recommend Carley for any life event, wedding, engagement, maternity shoot, or anything in between. We feel like we've gotten to know her on a personal level over the years, she's one of the few vendors I worked with who reached out to me regularly just to check in and chat over my COVID-extended 2.5-year engagement. I fell in love with Carley's work long before our wedding.
