Facilities and Capacity

Cannonsburg's rustic elegance creates an atmosphere perfect for your dream wedding! Here at our venue we have the option of both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, as well as two different reception rooms, each with beautiful views. Additionally, there is a deck area available to rent for an additional cost with any of our spaces. Fire pits and an outdoor bar are available for outdoor celebrations!

Services Offered

Cannonsburg's executive chef and culinary team can create a delicious menu for your special day! The staff of Cannonsburg Ski Area is attentive to the couple’s needs and happily assists celebrations in the lodge or outdoors on our beautiful property. They provide set up/clean up for events and exclusive on-site catering/bar services. The bar management also offers couples fun options such as signature drinks, a bloody mary, or mimosa bar.

My husband and I are extremely happy with how our reception turned out. Wendy was very helpful with planning and was willing to make any adjustment we requested. We were allowed to decorate however we wanted to and she was there with advice if we needed it. The food selection we chose was delicious and everyone loved it. Bartender and wait staff were polite and friendly.

We could not have asked for more from the Cannonsburg Ski Area coordinator Wendy and her staff. From planning to wedding day, they were organized and were willing to accommodate our needs. We scheduled several meetings to visit the reception hall for decoration planning and they were willing to work within our schedule. The food was superb; many of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed their meal. Being a July wedding in Michigan, it did get a little warm despite the AC running full blast. All in all, I would highly recommend Cannonsburg Ski Area.

I recommend cannonsburg to everyone I talk to!! Wendy is beyond AMAZING to work with. She helped me plan my dream wedding. Cannonsburg is a beautiful facility with very friendly staff at a affordable price. Our day was perfect thanks to Wendy and the cannonsburg team.

We had a wonderful experience! You get your bang for your buck here. The beverage and food prices are reasonable. We had the bar stay open during dinner. The bartenders were able to make a variety of beverages. The outdoor space is wonderful. Many stalls in the bathroom. We were able to set up a day early. We were able to transfer the resort pass into a family members name so they could utilize it for we were not living in the area at that time. The planner, Wendy, is helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks again!

It was our first daughters wedding and everything went amazing!! Could not have been happier with the food, how beautiful the room looked and the willingness to listen and fulfill any ideas we had that were reasonable. The management staff had everything under control all night and gave great advice on food ideas and served the food warm!! (big factor to me since I have had many cold dinners at receptions) I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Wendy did a fantastic job setting our wedding up just the way we needed it!! She made everything we asked for happen even with only 3 months notice! Through the entire process she made everything seem so easy and just plain got it done. I would highly recommend Canonsburg for any event, but for sure for a wedding. Food was great and the value was amazing compared to other venues in the area. From begging to end everything was the best it could have been!

Wendy and the rest of the staff at Cannonsburg were very helpful through the whole process all the way from first looking around, planning the wedding day order of events to the catering at the reception. Wendy offered advice when needed and was always available and quick to answer any questions we had. The food was delicious, serving and clean up went quickly and smoothly throughout the reception and they were very understanding and helpful when our limo driver didn't show up at the end of the night!

I held my April 2009 wedding at Cannonsburg Ski Resort. At first I was a little afraid of how it would turn out, because the lodge was a bit dirty from ski season. But, the price for booking the room was great! $500 for the big one, and I think $250 for the smaller one. Also the food was fairly priced, and the manager went out of her way to make sure we got everything we wanted. We chose the bigger area as it had a bigger dance floor and we wanted alot of space. We only had around 125 people, but the set up was perfect. The staff from the buffet/wait staff, to the bartender were fantastic. Give this place a try!
