Amy and Ashley made our wedding day run so smoothly. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the day knowing they had every detail big and small covered. Amy even made sure to bring us our own plate of hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour!
They not only introduced us to fantastic vendors, but they managed almost all the communication for us. The wedding planning software they use to help you plan along the way is also incredibly helpful for everything from building inspiration/design boards to tracking to do list/guest lists, to monitoring your budget.

Amy with Buttercup Events was quite literally The Best Money Spent on this wedding. She kept us on track and thought of Everything! Could not have done this without her! I am the MOB and I did not have to do anything or worry about timing, etc. All I did was enjoy the moment. Amy and her team are the best of the best. She is equal parts creative and diligent, which makes her an incredible wedding planner. No question or request was too small or too silly throughout the wedding planning process. Amy is absolutely AMAZING! Not only is she organized with an impeccable eye for design, but she is one of the most fun people ever. I loved every conversation that I had with her leading up to the wedding and beyond. She acted as part therapist and helped me navigate all of the tricky things leading up to the big day. She made recommendations for other vendors that were spot on and made the planning process so easy. Her honesty is extremely helpful, especially for someone who is indecisive. She is able to listen to what your vision is, and bring it to life. The day of was a testament to all of the hard work and planning, it went off without a hitch and we didn't have to lift a finger. I couldn't believe how beautiful everything was, no detail went unnoticed. All of our guests had wonderful things to say too. Amy's willingness to let me send some items for the wedding to her own home was a huge help since we had destination wedding. Amy may be the most prepared person I have ever met. I thought I had my wedding planned before I met Amy-- I was so wrong. Amy came in and took everything to a level I couldn't even imagine. No details were overlooked or forgotten. Through a monsoon on the morning of the wedding to my bustle breaking at least 5 times on the dance floor, Amy took care of EVERYTHING. Because we hired Amy my husband, our families, and I were able to actually enjoy our wedding 100% stress free.

Amy saved the day per usual! My husband and I were separated in different continents by travel bans due to Covid for the duration of our engagement. Needless to say had a very complicated situation. Amy helped us throw together an intimate ceremony with our close friends and family in a matter of 3 weeks.

From the flowers to the day of set up, she put her magic touch on every detail at the wedding. We couldn't have the big celebration that we had both hoped for, but Amy helped make our last minute ceremony a night that we'll never forget.

Can't recommend Amy and Buttercup Events enough! When our original wedding in North Carolina crumbled due to the pandemic, we weren't sure what to do. We just knew we wanted to get married and start our lives. As we were reeling from the original plan falling apart, we started talking about where we could go with our parents, siblings and bridal party and still have a joyous celebration. We landed on Charleston - the place we got engaged.

I lived in another state and LOVED Charleston but I had never been there with the eyes of a bride so I didn't know any vendors or where to begin. I stumbled across Buttercup Events Charleston and Amy online, and within a few hours we were on the phone chatting, and minutes later I told my fiance I found our new wedding planner! We had a little over two months to pull together a new plan, and gosh I was so thankful to have Amy helping us out.

I'm a self-admitted super Type A planner, so the fact that I could relinquish my own control and trust her instantly spoke volumes.
