My wife and I booked the Burnt Toast Inn's Washington House as our reception venue as well as a backup wedding venue. The owners were so nice and helpful and provided us with wonderful breakfast foods, coffee, tea, etc. In our conversations they really came across as lovely people and they really did their best to be understanding and accommodating to us. We truly loved our stay and the Washington House was such a beautiful venue for our reception and for getting ready for our wedding. (as well as our wedding night.) The owners are very much LGBTQ friendly as well. I highly recommend Burnt Toast Inn and the Washington House. :)Sent on 08/31/2018

We had our ceremony and reception at the Washington House of the Burnt Toast Inn. It's truly a hidden gem in Ann Arbor. Very quaint, quiet, and personable. Within minutes we could walk anywhere down town yet we were tucked away in a very nice neighborhood. The owner is very kind and accommodating. For the price of renting another venue for a few hours, we were able to rent the entire house (which sleeps 9!) and grounds for a weekend. The natural charm of the backyard was perfect for our guests (~100). I would definitely recommend the Washington House for others looking for an intimate and romantic wedding venue.Sent on 10/05/2010

I had my wedding reception at The Burnt Toast Inn on Washington. The backyard was intimate and immaculately landscaped and just the right setting for my small(ish) party of 80.Sent on 08/19/2010
Sarah, though a little flighty, managed to get everything organized and/or available on time and precisely, was very accommodating of our requests, and was overall a joy to work with. I feel like we made a lifelong family friend in the process!
We had our official religious ceremony out of state in my husband's hometown, and then came to ann arbor to have our party and another unofficial prayer in the gazebo during our gathering. It was both festive and sacred and afterwards we had our band play and people danced in the back yard.
The cost was very affordable compared with other locations we'd researched, and the rooms were clean and very nicely appointed. I felt like a Queen!
