How can I began to describe such a wonderful photographer? Bruce is professional, responsive, adventurous, creative, and punctual. Bruce went above and beyond for our engagement photos and wedding. He is willing to jump across a creek, hike mountains, and crawl in the bushes to get that great shot. My husband, family, and all our guests were so impressed with Bruce. He is quick to return photos and actually sent us a few sample shots the night of the wedding. You can't go wrong with Bruce! He will certainly be our go to photographer for any future photo sessions in the Eastern Sierra.

My new husband and I could not be happier with our choice of wedding photographer. Bruce is truly a fabulous photographer and a truly wonderful person. He really captured our special day and he was such a pleasure to work with. He listened to everything that we asked and went above and beyond. Even our guests were commenting on how great he was. I am so thankful I found Bruce for so many reasons! Just by looking at his website before reaching out I knew that his down-to-earth witty personality, willing to work with us and our smaller wedding, and incredible photos was exactly what we were looking for! Bruce continued to work with us through the pandemic, the fires, crazy weather and constant location changes (always getting back to us quickly). Bruce always found the most incredible locations (we’re still getting compliments that people think the backdrops aren’t real!) Bruce is so easy to get a long with and we felt comfortable from the very beginning (we were very nervous at first.) He gave us very easy direction; allowing us to find our grove ourselves to feel the most natural and stepped in when he saw fit. He is always willing to get down and dirty to get the best shots and gave great positive affirmations as we were going making us feel more confident. He also put together a great wedding video with photos/audio recording’ and even made us a slide show with engagement photos before the ceremony and the new wedding photos after. We received a few sneak peeks that night (Engagement and wedding) and the rest of the hundreds of photos the next few days (so much quicker than we ever imagined). We also got both social media and printing sizes for the photos (which was super nice). Bruce will continue to be our photographer for all future shoots! We now consider Bruce a friend and are both so inspired by him that when we take certain photos we say we tried to pull “a Bruce” shot! -Amber & Billy

Bruce is an absolutely stellar wedding + climbing photographer and person. His photography business was recommended to my husband and I for our wedding by a good friend. After having the pleasure of meeting and working with Bruce over the past half year and having had a very successful engagement shoot and wedding in the Eastern Sierra, I can state with absolute confidence that Bruce has phenomenal photography skills. The lighting, composition and emotional eminence of his photos were remarkable. We were also impressed with his creativity of his shots, which were captured with a wide range of cameras, lenses and angles! Our family and guests were equally thrilled about his photos from our engagement and wedding. Bruce proved himself to be reliable, dependable and timely after multiple meetings and a climbing session together. Also importantly, he has very pleasant demeanor and is easy to be around, which really helped us stay calm and act natural during photography sessions (I can't state enough how important this is during a wedding). There aren’t enough characters in this here comment-box to describe how incredible a photographer Bruce is. We asked him to photograph our August wedding at June Lake, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made about the wedding. We were hesitant to have an “engagement photo session,” because I thought it might be corny. Since it’s included in his (very reasonably priced) package, however, we gave it a shot when we were driving through Bishop. We had a blast scrambling around on the rocks in the dramatic late-afternoon sunshine and I knew I didn’t need to worry. Bruce has an incredible eye for photos and angles and a gift for working with the light in the mountains in any conditions. When our wedding finally arrived, it was an horrifically smoky weekend due to the forest fires. Bruce was positive, made the most of it, and still took absolutely stunning pictures despite the conditions. At the wedding, he was brimming with energy, dashing around to capture all the magical moments of dancing, kids being kids, old friends laughing, new couples smooching, etc—right in the thick of things, while simultaneously being totally inconspicuous. So many friends told me how much they loved his energy and friendly smile. We love him too! The pictures were ready just a few days later and it took my husband and I two whole beers each to pour through them on the couch together, enjoying the opportunity to relive the wedding day. What a gift. Thank you Bruce!

Bruce isn't just a photographer, he's a land surveyor, a weather man, and a mistro of light. We could not have asked for anything more from him on our special day.

With our decision to choose a destination wedding, we had to put a lot of faith in several of our vendors without being able to meet them face to face. It took a leap to make many decisions on who to go with. Choosing Bruce as our photographer may have been the best decision we made throughout the entire process.

Bruce was an A+ in everything we could ask for. Our family is very outgoing and can be somewhat blunt and in your face. Bruce rolled with our entire group and helped elevate the event in the ways we had hoped. He has an obviously prevalent work ethic and takes pride in what he does. His communication before, during and after the event was extraordinary. His timeliness on how quickly he returned our photos was nothing short of amazing as well.

Most importantly, the photos he took were incredible. We couldn't be more grateful and lucky to have this wonderful man as our photographer. Would recommend to anybody I know. Thank you Bruce.
