I am in love with my photos! One reason why I chose this is because she met me in the mountains for my engagement pictures. She is very knowledgeable about lighting, timing, and how to edit the photos. We’ve never done professional photos before so she was very helpful in posing us. We got our engagement pictures back in about a weeks time as well as our wedding photos! She communicated well and we set up a schedule timeline for our wedding and made sure we got all of the pictures we wanted. Would recommend!!

Tess was helpful from day 1. We found her from our wedding venue and wedding coordinator, we asked who they preferred and they both recommended Vans Studio so we knew had to go with them. Tess introduced herself and her company which made us feel like we were contributing to a good local company. We hired her early on in our planning and at our first meeting she went through a quick timeline which really helped us understand the day. She also offers engagement photoshoots which really helped her get to know us so she knows what we are comfortable with and style we like. She knew the right spots to take photos and the best angles and poses to help us get good shots. By the time the wedding came, she knew what to do with us and it nice to not have to worry. Not only did she produce the most amazing photos and tons of them, but she was the best at coordinating people. We have a big wedding with lots of family and Tess and her assistant were really good at gathering people, telling them what to do, where to stand, and not wasting time; which is exactly what you need someone to do during your wedding because we were busy being the couple that it was nice to have someone else in charge to get the photos we wanted. I would recommend to everyone I know because she made us feel comfortable, got us to laugh and look natural in our photos, she allowed us to be silly, while also being in charge and getting good shots, and she knew what she was doing. Best photographer!

Tess was incredible to work with. She was so flexible in rearranging photo times with impending rain. She made us all so comfortable and our photographs are beyond what we ever expected!
