Luke was amazing at our wedding! He was great while taking pictures of everyone at the Mass and the reception. He shot amazing photos. I couldn't find one that I didn't like so I had to get copies of all of them. Being from out of town he was very helpful with things over the phone and when we met him it was all planned. Luke Jones Photography was phenomenal - everything we wanted in a wedding photographer and more!

In doing preliminary research, I was initially struck by how authentic yet ethereal his images are, and knew from a brief glance at his online portfolio that he was the one for us. Our engagement session at Pismo Beach was the perfect way to kick off our subject-photographer relationship and really helped us all to get to know each other.

We did opt for a second shooter for our wedding day which I would recommend if you expect your event to be attended by 100+ guests or have a fast day-of timeline. Luke and his second shooter Marcel did an absolutely fantastic job of documenting our special day with spectacular images. We were treated not as customers but as friends. They also were consummate professionals, even when temperatures reached above 100, they still had jokes and kind words up their sleeves. Luke has provided us with a trove of pictures that melt my heart and help us relive our day in the best way possible.

As a bride, one of the most valuable things in a wedding is the photography. After all, it's the only thing you can literally look back on of that special day.
Luke Jones Photography did exactly what you want a photographer to do on your wedding, he captured the moment. From the time when all my bridesmaids and myself were getting ready in the morning, to the first look, walking down the aisle and all throughout the ceremony, you would have thought there were 10 of him. He hustles! He captured so many facets of that special day.
Typically with wedding photography you sacrifice quantity for quality and vice versa, however this is not the case. There is abundance of absolutely stunning photos of our wedding day.
He posses a wonderful attention to detail. Photos of the rings, dress, décor, scenery, venue... I know for me personally, my wedding was carefully designed and details were painstakingly thought over and to have the little things captured in photographs is amazing.
He listens to you. We wanted a very upscale, classy aesthetic to our photos and he delivered!!! We couldn't be happier.

Luke did a phenomenal job on our wedding pics, I wanted more intimate pictures rather than poses and he captured exactly what I visioned. He was very professional and just a great person all around .

When we hired Luke to shoot our wedding, we knew his work was amazing based on the gallery at his website. What we were thrilled to learn is just how easy he was to work with and how well he would nail the vision of what we were hoping for. He captured both the key moments and guests of the day, while having an eye for the unconventional shots we wanted. When the schedule for the day fell behind, Luke was extremely understanding and flexible and did what was needed to fulfill our wishes. The complementary engagement photos was a fantastic bonus, super fun, and really gave us a chance to work with Luke before the chaos of our big day - and it gave us some awesome photos to boot! We also love how Luke had everything for us digitally, from payment to signing the contract and ultimately the online gallery created for our files. He was speedy in the delivery of our photos and the video slideshow which also contained some special surprises we totally didn't expect. Final verdict - highly recommend, would hire again.
