Brooks DJ service is the best in town! Brandon was the DJ for our wedding and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Brandon was FANTASTIC. He took everything we wanted and created the perfect set list to please all of our guests! The dance floor was packed all night long, and he was great at reading the room! Brandon made sure my husband and I had drinks all night long, which was definitely not his job, but he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best night of our lives! I 100% recommend Brooks DJ for your event! They are incredible and we hope to work with them again in the future! We had the night of our lives!!!

Brandon did a phenomenal job at our wedding on September 21st, 2024! We got so many compliments from our guests on how great of a DJ he was! I don’t think the dance floor was empty the entire night. Prior to the wedding day, he was super responsive and made sure to review every detail so that the day could go as perfect as it could. We can’t recommend him enough to everyone we know! We had Mike Robinson as our DJ for our wedding and we cannot say enough great things about him! We met with him multiple times in person and he was very responsive to communications. He listened to what we wanted and helped us plan great songs for certain times of the wedding and truly took our ideas to heart and valued making our music experience everything we were hoping it would be! He kept people on the dance floor all night and we got so many compliments about him! My cousin has already booked him for her own wedding. He also was really looking out for us and had our back! He came up to us a few times to make sure we were comfortable with changes the photographer or caterer wanted to make and had our backs with whatever we decided and made it happen. Truly a great guy. Brandon (owner and also DJ who happened to be booked for our day) was also amazing to work with. He was super responsive and helped us create a beautiful backdrop for our photo booth cards and had things back to us so quickly. They were both extremely easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

We are so happy that we ended up booking with Brandon from Brooks DJ service! We had our wedding at the Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland, as we were going for a Rock & Roll style wedding. Very different and untraditional for a wedding, we know. And a few other DJs we reached out to before Brandon, were not on board with our theme. We wanted music that fit US and our friends. Rock, metal, emo. Now, we also understand that it might not be easy to dance to all that, and we were not expecting that to be the entire night. However, other DJ's actually turned us down because that didn't fit in their, should I say "cookie cutter" wedding playlist. By those other DJ's we were actually told that is not what our guests will want, and they had to "uphold their reputation". Yeah, those guys missed out big on one of the coolest weddings (we might be biased, but ask anyone else) in the greater Cleveland area.

So fast forward to us meeting with Brandon. We told him our plan, and he couldn't have been more excited to make our vision come to life. He was recommended to us by April G Photography, and she absolutely killed it as well. Since our music selection was much different than most clients, we did a lot of collaboration with Brandon to make sure things were perfect. Another awesome thing was Brandon had never done a wedding at MBSC, and they are known for having a state of the art sound system. The venue provided us with a sound engineer in our package, and that included giving Brandon the ability to plug into their system! Oh it sounded good! We had a decent amount of weigh in, but let him do his creative magic we the general concepts we had. Stuff like light instrumental rock songs as guests arrived and waited for the ceremony. Classic and well known rock kick off cocktail hour into reception. We specifically requested an "emo hour" as I named it to play some hype 2000s rock and emo songs that we and many of our guests really enjoyed. Lastly I created a mash up song for him to play which consisted of big heavy metal/rock songs that we eventually got a mosh pit going for - which was my whole intention! So yeah we really put Brandon to work with all our very untraditional requests, but he absolutely NAILED IT. Oh and shout out to his brother who assisted him throughout the night to help make all of it happen.

On top of killing the DJ portion of it, we bought the Main Event package so we got all the goods. Photo booth as well, which he pleasantly rock themed the photo print outs. We highly recommend it! The dancing on the clouds was such a cool addition to our first dance. The Music Box is a bit picky about "smoke" though, so even though they let us do it, they apparently kicked on the AC on full to stop any issues. Well, they just made it go higher than it normally would have anyways so that backfired on them! It did not ruin it though, and also they had issues with using the cold sparks (indoor safe) but luckily Brandon handled the venue for us and made it happen. We actually did not even know they were throwing a fuss about it until Brandon told us after we were all packing up, so big props to him for taking charge and making it happen. What is funny is the same person at MB who was concerned about it, ended up talking to us at the end of the night and said that was one of the best weddings he has seen hosted there in a long time. He said they might have to revisit their view on the fog/sparks for future weddings because once photos release to the public, and they see it was at MB, they are going to want it. Sure enough, if you visit the Music Box Wedding's Facebook page, you will see US as their profile and banner photos! (As of today 11.28.23) We were go happy Brandon had all of those add ons available because they made our badass rock & roll wedding theme, even more like going to an actual concert. Which leaving the best for last, we actually did a live performance on stage for our guests! We played CrushCrushCrush by Paramore as where I played drums, and Jessy sang. Brandon had set up the cold sparks again to go off at the end of the song, and then once we ended that he kicked off our emo hour setlist.

There was so much that went into planning all of these different events throughout the day, and Brandon was able to handle everything so well. April G, and Brandon worked so well together, as they have in many previous occasions, and I can see why she recommended him to us. Our reception was one to be remembered, and the rock & roll wedding could not have been pulled off if it wasn't for Brandon, his team, and our rock star group of other vendors.

My husband and I got married on September 30th and were SO glad we found Brooks Music for our DJ and Photobooth!! We originally were in contact with Brandon to talk about what we were envisioning and then we were connected us with Scott as our DJ. Scott was absolutely amazing to work with. Right after our first video planning meeting, I finally felt at ease about our wedding and was looking forward to having fun! Scott was so caring, laid back, knowledgeable, and had good ideas to help us during the planning process. He was easy to communicate with, organized, and so flexible working with us about our timing, ideas, and vision. He made me feel so calm about everything!

For the day of, Scott was amazing at getting our guests to have fun and was always professional and flexible. I hope he had as much fun as we did!!

I can't thank Scott and our photobooth attendant enough for making our reception an absolute blast. It was honestly the best day of my life, and I felt so at ease because Scott took care of the entire flow of the evening. I HIGHLY recommend Scott (and Brooks Music in general) for your DJ needs. Don't think twice about hiring anybody else!!!

My wedding was on 9/30/23 and Brooks Brothers did not disappoint. DJ Mike was our DJ and he was so so amazing. He took the time to make sure our night was special. He is active at the reception and easily accessible throughout the night. My husband and I requested very last minute add ons and Mike made it happen! I would use this vendor again and will highly recommend to others!

Scott Hunter was our DJ for my daughter’s wedding. He seemed to know exactly what kind of music to play to keep everyone dancing all night. He did an absolutely fantastic job! I would highly recommend Scott and Brook’s Music.

From start to finish, Brooks music was so amazing to work with! We had DJ Mike for our reception, and he killed it! We met with him a few times before the wedding, and the planning process was so easy! He’s laid back and goes with the flow, but also very professional; which made him so awesome to work with! He made sure our night went smoothly, kept us on schedule (even with some last minute changes), and also made sure our guests had a ton of fun! He kept checking in on my husband and I throughout the night, grabbed us drinks, and even fixed a piece of our decor that got broken! He kept people dancing all night, and even brought us foam glow sticks for the dance floor and sparklers for our exit! These guys truly go above and beyond for their couples! Thanks for such an awesome night!!! Highly recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Brooks Music. I met the owner, Brandon, at an open house and he was very personable and friendly. I worked with him for getting my custom package set (5hr Dj service and a photo booth) and he was very responsive and helpful. There was a user friendly platform that I was able to add in my wedding day details and even upload specific songs I wanted to be played and songs that I did not want played. Mike was our DJ and he beyond rocked it. We got to meet him a few weeks before the wedding day to go over fine details. He has 13+ years of service and really knows his stuff and is down to earth and really easy to talk to. I could tell he takes pride in his work and that we were in good hands which completely put me at ease. We got so many compliments on our music and him doing a great job. He even got drinks for myself, the groom, and the bridal party, making sure we were fully taken care of on our special day. He was able to adapt on the fly fast too with last minute event changes due to our photographer deadline. He far surpassed all and any expectation we had and he rallied to dj for an additional hour since we were having such a great time. Everyone loved the Photo Booth we had too. It was so special getting a book of all the pictures from the night too with my guest’s personalized messages on top of a flash drive. My wedding night was everything I could have wished for thanks to these guys!!
