Edric is professional, laid back and best of all amazing at his job. He makes you feel comfortable taking photos and is very down to earth. My sister in law actually used Edric for her photos, then my bestie loved his work so much, she used him for her's, then, of course, I had to do the same because it didn't feel like a proper wedding without Edric! My husband and I got married in May and we could not be more pleased with the work that Edric did on our wedding photography. Edric is an amazing photographer whose genuine personality is reflected in the stories his pictures narrate! When selecting a photographer, we wanted to show the most beautiful moments and qualities of our two families. This would be the first and possibly only time our Ohio and Kansas families would be in the same place, and it would be Christmas. What more magical setting could we ask for? Edric's photos are every bit as perfect as we could have hoped. Some are ideally-captured authentic moments- including the many laughs that I had forgotten in the midst of stress. Others play with lighting; in some, Edric hid behind a Christmas tree to provide the coolest- yet real- border to a set of pictures. He finds the moments that you don't even remember are perfect- watching grandparents during the anniversary dance, not even realizing that we were perfectly aligned. Every photograph looks like us and those we love most- just the most beautiful images and creative narratives of our celebration. Our friends and families agree- several have found their favorite picture of themselves dancing or laughing to use as profile pictures on social media. Now our toughest challenge is narrowing down over 700 great pictures for our album!

I have known Edric for several years now and have worked with him at several weddings. Being in the wedding industry myself, I am privy to tons of wedding vendors. When I got engaged myself, I knew immediately that Edric was the one I wanted to use for my own wedding. He is a fantastic photographer. He is a wonderful person. He was so easy to work with leading up to the day as well as on the day itself. He is not pushy and you barely even know he's there. He gets images that you would not even imagine he is capturing while standing there in front of his camera. It was a wild ride actually being the bride and in front of the camera for once, a ride I wasn't sure I was going to know how to do, but he made it absolutely perfect. Hire him. There is so much I could say about Edric and his work... really I could gush all day. But his portfolio and product speak for themselves! My husband and I found Edric after 2 friends used him for their photographer. My husband was in one of the afore-mentioned weddings, and when I asked "how was he to work with?", my husband said "He was cool, he didn't ask us to do any ridiculous or awkward poses... so that was cool". After seeing our friends wedding photos, I KNEW when the time came, he was the man for us!
Fast forward to when our engagement and planning process. We met Edric at Panera (where he promptly won me over by buying me a cookie! thanks!), and had a very causal conversation about how we met, what our wedding was going to be like etc. Edric brought some of his work with him, and if I was ready to commit before, this more than ever sealed the deal!
Edric was very open to the idea of not having a "normal" engagement session. We turned our engagement session into a "family portrait session" with my family and in-laws. When we received the pictures back, in less than 6 weeks, our families were more than thrilled with the product. Most importantly so were we!
The week leading up to the wedding, I got a little Type-A on him, I think I e-mailed him 3 times in 4 days?! Whoops! Edric called me 2 days before the wedding, and soothed all of my "horror story about the photographer not showing up fears"... we planned everything out, and it couldn't have gone smoother day of.
Wedding day: Edric took absolutely breathtaking photos. I am not in the least exaggerating when I say, my Father cried looking at his photographs... which again were returned to us in 6 weeks! (My cousin who was married in September hadn't gotten their pictures back when we did).
Edric captured every emotion on our special day: our love, our joy, our laughter... tears from many... my Grandmother, my husband's Grandparents... just beautiful. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!

When we first met Edric, we instantly knew he was the photographer for us. We felt like he was our friend that first day in Panera and he did become our friend by the end of the process. He made a custom package for us to meet our needs. Given the quality of his work, the amount of time he spends on his shoots and his communication, his prices are a great value!

Edric is so much fun to work with! My fiancé and I are not big picture people so we were nervous during our engagement session. We wanted to do something different and not "lovey-dovey" so we went to a kiddy park to take pictures on the rides and mini golf. Edric recommended we spontaneously go to the beach afterward. He took the most beautiful pictures with the sunset. Our family loved them!

We had a surprise second-shooter on our wedding day; Dennis Crider. He and Edric are friends, so he brought him along to help out and take some extra photos. Dennis and Edic made our day so relaxed and fun. Because Edric brought Dennis along, we were able to have photos of both Ryan and I getting ready.

What caught my eye about Edric is that he has this artistic eye. He'll do the typical wedding photos if you want them. But you should really just let him do his thing. Trust him, he's an artist. You won't get stock photos, you won't get the same photos everyone else has. For example, Edric knew everyone took a "blue hallway" picture at the House of Blues. So, for our day, he thought about how he was going to utilize this beautiful, unique space and come up with an original photo. He did it and it's one of our favorites!

Edric is on time, a good communicator and has your pictures back to you lightning fast. Within a few days of our wedding, he had a blog post up with 20 or so "favorite" pictures. We had our flash drive in a couple weeks. This was SOOO important to us as other people wait months for their pictures.
