Brooks DJ service is the best in town! Brandon was the DJ for our wedding and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Brandon was FANTASTIC. He took everything we wanted and created the perfect set list to please all of our guests! The dance floor was packed all night long, and he was great at reading the room! Brandon made sure my husband and I had drinks all night long, which was definitely not his job, but he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best night of our lives! I 100% recommend Brooks DJ for your event! They are incredible and we hope to work with them again in the future! We had the night of our lives!!!

Wedding DJ

Brandon did a phenomenal job at our wedding on September 21st, 2024! We got so many compliments from our guests on how great of a DJ he was! I don’t think the dance floor was empty the entire night. Prior to the wedding day, he was super responsive and made sure to review every detail so that the day could go as perfect as it could. We can’t recommend him enough to everyone we know! If you are shopping around for a DJ for your wedding, 100% pick this one, you won’t be disappointed!!

Brandon was absolutely amazing as the DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, he showed incredible professionalism, taking extra time to meet with us and ensure he fully understood our vision. He made us feel completely heard and delivered everything perfectly on the day.

Brandon went above and beyond, not only with the music but with his attentiveness. He was always nearby to help—grabbing drinks, checking on us, and even having mints ready when we needed them! It’s the small, thoughtful details like this that really stood out.

His friendly and fun personality set the perfect vibe for our reception, and we truly enjoyed working with him. He made our night unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

Amazing Experience!

We had Mike Robinson as our DJ for our wedding and we cannot say enough great things about him! We met with him multiple times in person and he was very responsive to communications. He listened to what we wanted and helped us plan great songs for certain times of the wedding and truly took our ideas to heart and valued making our music experience everything we were hoping it would be! He kept people on the dance floor all night and we got so many compliments about him! My cousin has already booked him for her own wedding. He also was really looking out for us and had our back! He came up to us a few times to make sure we were comfortable with changes the photographer or caterer wanted to make and had our backs with whatever we decided and made it happen. Truly a great guy. Brandon (owner and also DJ who happened to be booked for our day) was also amazing to work with. He was super responsive and helped us create a beautiful backdrop for our photo booth cards and had things back to us so quickly. They were both extremely easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

Brandon helped ROCK our Wedding!

We are so happy that we ended up booking with Brandon from Brooks DJ service! We had our wedding at the Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland, as we were going for a Rock & Roll style wedding. Very different and untraditional for a wedding, we know. And a few other DJs we reached out to before Brandon, were not on board with our theme. We wanted music that fit US and our friends. Rock, metal, emo. Now, we also understand that it might not be easy to dance to all that, and we were not expecting that to be the entire night. However, other DJ's actually turned us down because that didn't fit in their, should I say "cookie cutter" wedding playlist. By those other DJ's we were actually told that is not what our guests will want, and they had to "uphold their reputation". Yeah, those guys missed out big on one of the coolest weddings (we might be biased, but ask anyone else) in the greater Cleveland area.

So fast forward to us meeting with Brandon. We told him our plan, and he couldn't have been more excited to make our vision come to life. He was recommended to us by April G Photography, and she absolutely killed it as well. Since our music selection was much different than most clients, we did a lot of collaboration with Brandon to make sure things were perfect. Another awesome thing was Brandon had never done a wedding at MBSC, and they are known for having a state of the art sound system. The venue provided us with a sound engineer in our package, and that included giving Brandon the ability to plug into their system! Oh it sounded good! We had a decent amount of weigh in, but let him do his creative magic we the general concepts we had. Stuff like light instrumental rock songs as guests arrived and waited for the ceremony. Classic and well known rock kick off cocktail hour into reception. We specifically requested an "emo hour" as I named it to play some hype 2000s rock and emo songs that we and many of our guests really enjoyed. Lastly I created a mash up song for him to play which consisted of big heavy metal/rock songs that we eventually got a mosh pit going for - which was my whole intention! So yeah we really put Brandon to work with all our very untraditional requests, but he absolutely NAILED IT. Oh and shout out to his brother who assisted him throughout the night to help make all of it happen.

On top of killing the DJ portion of it, we bought the Main Event package so we got all the goods. Photo booth as well, which he pleasantly rock themed the photo print outs. We highly recommend it! The dancing on the clouds was such a cool addition to our first dance. The Music Box is a bit picky about "smoke" though, so even though they let us do it, they apparently kicked on the AC on full to stop any issues. Well, they just made it go higher than it normally would have anyways so that backfired on them! It did not ruin it though, and also they had issues with using the cold sparks (indoor safe) but luckily Brandon handled the venue for us and made it happen. We actually did not even know they were throwing a fuss about it until Brandon told us after we were all packing up, so big props to him for taking charge and making it happen. What is funny is the same person at MB who was concerned about it, ended up talking to us at the end of the night and said that was one of the best weddings he has seen hosted there in a long time. He said they might have to revisit their view on the fog/sparks for future weddings because once photos release to the public, and they see it was at MB, they are going to want it. Sure enough, if you visit the Music Box Wedding's Facebook page, you will see US as their profile and banner photos! (As of today 11.28.23) We were go happy Brandon had all of those add ons available because they made our badass rock & roll wedding theme, even more like going to an actual concert. Which leaving the best for last, we actually did a live performance on stage for our guests! We played CrushCrushCrush by Paramore as where I played drums, and Jessy sang. Brandon had set up the cold sparks again to go off at the end of the song, and then once we ended that he kicked off our emo hour setlist.

There was so much that went into planning all of these different events throughout the day, and Brandon was able to handle everything so well. April G, and Brandon worked so well together, as they have in many previous occasions, and I can see why she recommended him to us. Our reception was one to be remembered, and the rock & roll wedding could not have been pulled off if it wasn't for Brandon, his team, and our rock star group of other vendors.

Amazing DJ service for our wedding!

My husband and I got married on September 30th and were SO glad we found Brooks Music for our DJ and Photobooth!! We originally were in contact with Brandon to talk about what we were envisioning and then we were connected us with Scott as our DJ. Scott was absolutely amazing to work with. Right after our first video planning meeting, I finally felt at ease about our wedding and was looking forward to having fun! Scott was so caring, laid back, knowledgeable, and had good ideas to help us during the planning process. He was easy to communicate with, organized, and so flexible working with us about our timing, ideas, and vision. He made me feel so calm about everything!

For the day of, Scott was amazing at getting our guests to have fun and was always professional and flexible. I hope he had as much fun as we did!!

I can't thank Scott and our photobooth attendant enough for making our reception an absolute blast. It was honestly the best day of my life, and I felt so at ease because Scott took care of the entire flow of the evening. I HIGHLY recommend Scott (and Brooks Music in general) for your DJ needs. Don't think twice about hiring anybody else!!!

Wedding 9/30/23

My wedding was on 9/30/23 and Brooks Brothers did not disappoint. DJ Mike was our DJ and he was so so amazing. He took the time to make sure our night was special. He is active at the reception and easily accessible throughout the night. My husband and I requested very last minute add ons and Mike made it happen! I would use this vendor again and will highly recommend to others!

Absolutely amazing!

From start to finish, Brooks music was so amazing to work with! We had DJ Mike for our reception, and he killed it! We met with him a few times before the wedding, and the planning process was so easy! He’s laid back and goes with the flow, but also very professional; which made him so awesome to work with! He made sure our night went smoothly, kept us on schedule (even with some last minute changes), and also made sure our guests had a ton of fun! He kept checking in on my husband and I throughout the night, grabbed us drinks, and even fixed a piece of our decor that got broken! He kept people dancing all night, and even brought us foam glow sticks for the dance floor and sparklers for our exit! These guys truly go above and beyond for their couples! Best DJ out there, Amazing Service, & Affordable

I can’t say enough good things about Brooks Music. I met the owner, Brandon, at an open house and he was very personable and friendly. I worked with him for getting my custom package set (5hr Dj service and a photo booth) and he was very responsive and helpful. There was a user friendly platform that I was able to add in my wedding day details and even upload specific songs I wanted to be played and songs that I did not want played. Mike was our DJ and he beyond rocked it. We got to meet him a few weeks before the wedding day to go over fine details. He has 13+ years of service and really knows his stuff and is down to earth and really easy to talk to. I could tell he takes pride in his work and that we were in good hands which completely put me at ease. We got so many compliments on our music and him doing a great job. He even got drinks for myself, the groom, and the bridal party, making sure we were fully taken care of on our special day. He was able to adapt on the fly fast too with last minute event changes due to our photographer deadline. He far surpassed all and any expectation we had and he rallied to dj for an additional hour since we were having such a great time. Everyone loved the Photo Booth we had too. It was so special getting a book of all the pictures from the night too with my guest’s personalized messages on top of a flash drive. My wedding night was everything I could have wished for thanks to these guys!!

24 Hours Notice!

My mother was told the night before her wedding she couldn’t have the band she hired!
I called Brooks Music and they helped me immediately! Corey was excellent!! He was so kind and helpful, set up fast, played exactly what we asked and had never met the bride or groom!

DJ, Photobooth

We knew we wanted to book Brandon as our DJ for our wedding after he was the DJ for my brother’s wedding. Brandon knows how to keep the party going and the dance floor alive. Everyone enjoyed their time and the music. Brandon was professional and very easy to work with. He also did our photo booth and uplighting. We also added on the marquee letters last minute which was a nice touch to the dance floor and decorations. We got a nice book of copies of all the photos taken in the photo booth as well as a usb flash drive so we can look back at them and cherish them forever.

Excellent Experience!

We had a fantastic experience with Brooks Music! We first interviewed with Brandon (who was great) but worked with Mike due to their busy schedule. Mike was stellar! He is so organized and it shows that he loves this profession. He is not only a fantastic DJ, but is a huge help for day-of coordination. There were intricacies to our ceremony that required extra detail and Mike made sure all went smoothly. He took time out of his schedule to call our wedding singers and even came out a day before the wedding so he knew exactly how to navigate our outdoor event. He checked in with my husband and I multiple times to make sure we were completely taken care of. We had guests even commenting on how great he was! Best Night!!!

Mike Robinson was our DJ for wedding last Saturday and I am still getting compliments about how fun our night was. Mike met with us before the wedding to pin down what our expectations were. We told Mike we wanted to spend most of our night with our guests on the dance floor. He walked through our timeline with us and gave us tips to make the night flow smoothly.

The day of he helped us with our ceremony and came to our rehearsal to be on the same page. During the reception Mike kept checked in on us throughout the night to see how we were doing and if we needed anything.

Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and we had quick activities that got all of our guests (even the non dancers) involved.

We also rented our photobooth through Brooks Music. Our picture layout matched our decor perfectly and the photobooth was a hit!!

Simply amazing and awesome!

Mike was incredible!!!! From our initial meeting to the big day, he made us feel at ease and he kept the party going! Mike is a natural at what he does, and so many of our guests said he just knew what to play and when to play it. We cannot say enough great things about this man and his talent!!!!
We also loved our photo booth! Brandon and his team were so nice and our guests loved being able to send the photos right to their phones!!!

Best dj ever

Brandon was the best DJ we could have ever asked for. He was recommended to us by my sister who works at a wedding venue. She said that all of the weddings he worked were by far the most fun. After just one meeting with Brandon, we knew my sister was right. He was professional, experienced, and so kind. He understands every part of the planning process, and made sure that the whole day was prepped in advance.

His online planning system was so user-friendly and helpful. We were able to build the schedule, make playlists (and do not play-lists), and pick out our songs for each special activity throughout the night. We met with him a week prior to review everything, and he knew exactly what he was doing and what to expect. He was also so kind and flexible throughout the whole planning process, which was so refreshing and helpful as I started losing my mind about other things closer to the wedding date.

The day of was perfect. We had absolutely no need to worry about anything. He provided his own set-up, was ready to go before the guests arrived, and kept the night flowing smoothly. His emcee skills were impeccable and SO integral in creating such a seamless, fun night. On top of everything, he brought my husband and I drinks and water when he noticed we were empty-handed, and even offered us mints after dinner as we started making our rounds to greet guests.

The party was incredible, and he truly fed off the crowd's energy and kept going for over an hour after our scheduled end time. I have never seen my mom or father-in-law dance, but they were on the dance floor the entire night, and that just about sums up his masterful skills and borderline magical powers as a DJ and emcee.

A few weeks after our wedding, we saw Brandon again, DJ-ing at our friends' wedding. To experience a party of his as both couple and guest just reaffirmed that we had made the right choice. No matter who you are in the venue, employee, couple, or guest, Brandon makes sure that everything runs smoothly for everyone, and guarantees everyone a party they won't forget.

We hired Brandon for our wedding this summer and he was amazing to work with and really made our wedding reception so fun and special! Marquee letter rentals

My husband and I rented marquee LOVE and MR & MRS letters for our wedding in May. Brandon was prompt to answer any questions. He provided all the information needed. He coordinated the rental with the venue director providing ease of any stress during wedding planning. The extra décor of the letters added a special touch to our reception venue. The lights are bright and provided a unique addition in front of our head table. Our guests enjoyed taking pictures in front of the LOVE letters. We also rented a fog machine, “dancing on the clouds” for our first dance. On our wedding day, Jordan the machine operator, was on time and communicated efficiently to make sure the fog started at the perfect time. I highly recommend Brooks Music rentals for any special event.

We had hired DJ mike as a DJ for our wedding. He ended up being so much more though. He was instrumental in developing and orchestrating our timeline before our big day, and after. He was incredibly personable, flexible, and gracious. His dedication to the bride and groom was phenomenal, a prime example for DJs everywhere. Cannot recommend him enough. 5 stars

He made our dream come to life

We booked Brooks DJ because of his great reviews then hoped for the best.. the best doesn't cut it, Brooks DJ is PHENOMENAL. He goes above and beyond and we were so grateful to have him be the DJ at our wedding. We really appreciated that he took the time to get to know us, hear what we envisioned and understand our music taste. He was so great that the day after our wedding one of our guests booked him for their own wedding.

Great experience

Due to COVID-19, we had some last minute changes including a venue change 3 months before the wedding. Brandon responded very quickly to emails and assured me the changes were okay and was willing to work with us and went above and beyond. He even rented out some battery operated up lighting so we could use it at our new outdoor venue. Josh was our DJ and he was amazing! He was very fun and interactive with our guests. Overall 10/10 experience, we highly recommend!!

Brandon Brooks was an asset to our special day. Not only did he keep the dance floor moving all night, he went above and beyond by talking to the guests and helping with drink refills when needed. Fun and professional DJ!

We had a bad experience with another DJ and were left scrambling and Brandon saved our day! He was very organized and went over everything with us multiple times before the wedding. He was there early, was dressed professionally, and did an amazing job. He was very thorough in making sure that everything was done perfectly and all names and announcements were correct. He goes above and beyond and will get the head table drinks, comes around with mints after dinner, and is constantly making sure your day is perfect. The dance floor was packed all night and guests were giving compliments on Our DJ and his music all night! I would recommend for anyone to hire Brandon and Brooks Music, he will do a great job, is reasonably priced, and will make sure your special day goes without a hitch! On your busy and hectic wedding day the last thing you want to do is worry about the DJ and with Brandon you won’t have to worry for a second!

Earl was awesome!

Earl was the best. He kept everyone on the dance floor and all our guests talked about how great the DJ was. My only regret is that I didn't get a bigger dance floor!

Great Service!

My wife and I used Brooks Music for our wedding this past Saturday and could not be more pleased with their service. Their pricing is reasonable, and Brandon and his team were great with the guests. They were very helpful and friendly throughout the whole planning process. They were accommodating to our needs, and made it a point to ensure we were getting the service we wanted.

Brooks Music made our wedding so much fun!

We were so happy with our choice to book Brooks Music for both our DJ and for photo booth services! Our DJ, Brandon, ran the evening so smoothly and worked closely with our coordinator and photographer/videographer to make sure every detail happened according to plan. My guests raves about the music and how much fun was had by all! The photo booth was an excellent addition to a fun filled evening!!

Just Awesome

Brandon was awesome! He made our wedding day amazing. We had an older crowd that we didn't think would do much dancing, but he was able to keep the dance floor full most of the night. We had an absolute blast at our wedding!! We couldn't get enough compliments of how great the music was! We sat down with Brandon and gave him an idea of what kind of music we liked and then let him and his team work their magic at the wedding. Everyone had an great time dancing all night!! Last minute we added the photo booth... guests loved it!
We highly recommend Brooks DJ, their professionalism and quality of service is top notch!

Wow, Brandon was incredible! Right from the beginning he was so interested in what we wanted at the wedding and what we thought was most important. I didn't have a single stress the whole night because Brandon always let us know when something was about to happen, and gave us the option to postpone or just bypass it. He didn't get upset or stressed out (or stress us out) when we arrived rather late to the venue, or when my husband was hard to find half the night! And he definitely knows how to get people excited for your entrance!
He also knew exactly how to read the crowd! We weren't too picky with the songs being played so he had free reign, and he absolutely nailed it. I don't remember leaving the dance floor for more than a few minutes.
Brandon felt like an even mix of coordinator and entertainer. As soon as we arrived as well as when we first sat down he asked for our drink orders. And he planned out the timing for the night perfectly.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ, and we highly recommend Brooks!

I would give DJ mike 15 stars if I could. He was awesome made things flow smoothly and was super professional. Music was played the way we wanted it and I couldnt have asked for anyone better to run my wedding. He’s willing to do anything you need to make your day turn out wonderful and I appreciated it so much. If you need a DJ, turn to Mike!

Brandon did an amazing job as our DJ. He managed the ceremony and the reception beautifully, offering great advice when it was needed. I can't recommend his services enough. My grandmother even commented that it was the first time my grandfather had asked her to dance before she did. I think this says a lot about Brandon's ability to create a great party atmosphere. Before you look at any other DJs, give Brandon a call or shoot him an email. If you decide on Brandon as your DJ, give him some creative freedom and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Brandon is an amazing business owner! He went above and beyond to make sure our entire experience was perfect. He responded almost immediately to any questions we had. Loved Brooks Music for our wedding! We had Brandon as our DJ (company owner) and he went above and beyond from the time we hired him to the actual day of our wedding. Very easy to work with, responsive and catered to our every need. He did our ceremony music as well as our reception and both were great. He also provided uplighting at the reception which looked AMAZING. I told him the look we were going for and he set them up with a great color that tied in perfectly with our theme/colors/etc. Our dance floor was packed all night and he went beyond his DJ duties to help me carry my plate to my seat at dinner, had breath mints packed for the wedding party for after we all ate, and even played bartender in grabbing me a couple beers as I was tied up talking to guests! We can't speak any higher of Brandon- very professional, played great music (including all of our requests) and hosted a GREAT party at our reception! Stop looking, you've found your DJ! :D

We were having a hard time finding a DJ believe it or not. Everyone we saw at a bridal shows was from the Cleveland area and wanted to charge extra to come to Akron. After meeting with our photographer, he suggested us to contact Brandon Brooks from Brooks Music. He is local and was within our price range. We met with Brandon one evening after work, and knew instantly that we were going to book Brooks Music. Brandon is easy to talk to and easy to get along with, funny and understanding of our needs. Not only did we book Brandon as our DJ, his wife Ashlea was running the photobooth that night.
So moving on to the reception ....
Brandon knew just when to play the right songs. He knows how to keep the dance floor poppin'. He even showed us a couple of his dance move!!! :) Needless to say we did not want the night to end and either did our guests. We paid for an extra 2 hours to keep the party going.
Thanks Brandon and your wonderful staff for an awesome night of dancing. We will never forget it!!

Working with Brooks was as flawless and smooth as can be. Mike Robinson was our DJ, and he was so much fun to work with. You can tell he has a passion for DJing as it shows when he's up there entertaining a crowd. He made sure we stayed on time, asked me questions to ensure our day went as perfectly as we envisioned, he even gave us mints after dinner before we made our rounds to guests! He was extremely thorough when it came to song selections, and helped create a special mother-son mash up song. Not to mention, they were very affordable. I would recommend again for sure. Brandon was recommended to us by a friend and we're extremely happy for the recommendation! Brandon went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was Exceptional. His website interface was easy to use and we were able to prioritize our songs. He checked with us beforehand about the pronunciation of everyone's name, and then he checked again before he introduced everyone. He even went so far as to drive our brand new party bus from California to Ohio the week before our wedding to make sure it was available on our wedding day! - He also works for a limousine company. AMAZING!!!!!!! Brandon and Ashlea DJ'd our destination wedding in Sarasota, Florida April 2016. We could not have been any happier!!! When your guests are shouting your DJ’s name for an encore at the end of the wedding night, you know you hired the right DJ.

We were in need of a DJ and were referred to Brook’s Music by our Photographer, whom had worked with the company numerous times. I reached out and spoke with Brandon Brooks about the possibility of going with their services and he put us in contact with one of the DJ's, Earl. We met with Earl a few times prior to the wedding and he was always professional, friendly and detail oriented. Earl told us he liked to be organized and that was very apparent during the ceremony and reception.

He showed up early to the ceremony location so that he could set up the mics and equipment for our musician, and did a great job. The reception is truly where Earl shined! We had heard before that a DJ can really make or break a wedding. Well, Earl definitely made our wedding! We received numerous comments from friends, family, and even our parents that Earl was exceptional. He was hilarious, engaging, and very fun. He did a great job with the entrances and introduced the wedding party enthusiastically. He was able to read the crowd and seemed to play the best songs at the best times.

We had the choice of extending the reception by an hour and we decided to because the party was going so well. Even after the extended hour, everyone was cheering Earl’s name and he gifted us with a Michael Jackson song, which everyone danced to and loved! Earl was on the dance floor showing everyone how to do specific dances and even just to enjoy with us. We can’t thank Earl enough for making our reception so memorable and fun! Earl will take your wedding to the next level! My wife and I strongly recommend that you call Brooks Music!

Brandon is one of the best djs I have ever seen! He is so polite and professional! He works with caterers, bartenders and photographers throughout the night to make sure everything is well coordinated and goes out of his way to make sure the bridal party is well taken care of! I have been to 3 events now where either his staff or Brandon himself has been the dj and all three have raved about him!(including my own wedding) I would recommend him for anyone needing a dj! We are so happy that we booked Brandon from Brooks Music as our DJ! He also provided our uplighting and Photo Booth. Everything was beyond perfect and received so many compliments from our guest. Our dance floor was packed the whole night. We added an extra hour to our reception because everyone was having such a great time and Brandon was so accommodating. We highly recommend uplighting- it completely transformed the entire hall. Everyone loved the Photo Booth and we loved looking through our album with all of the photos in it. The prices were very reasonable and considerably less than other vendors we looked at. We will definitely use Brandon again if we ever need a DJ and I would HIGHLY recommend Brooks Music to all the future Brides out there!

We booked Brandon for his DJ services for our wedding in September 2015 after he was recommended to us by our photographer. Everything about working with Brandon was smooth and easy. I was impressed by his professionalism and how he helped brainstorm our timeline and ideas and bring them to life. He took pride in his work, made sure he knew how to pronounce everyone's name he was introducing, and made sure us, the bridal party, and our parents were aware of how events would run without getting in the way at all. We also used his company for uplighting and chair cover rentals, both of which turned out perfectly. If there were any day-of hiccups, they were resolved without my or my husband's knowledge, because everything seemed to run smoothly and as-planned. He was open to all of our specific ideas and helped us make them come true (went into first dance right after being introduced, different processional songs for bridal party and mothers and bride, etc). He worked well with our photography company (Eagle Vision) to ensure no "special" dances happened before the couple was ready, or if we were occupied taking pictures. From before the beginning of the ceremony with light piano music in the background, through cocktail hour, to the last song of the reception (which we were able to select beforehand), the music provided definitely helped make our wedding day fun and magical.

Well its been over a year since the wedding and I am just now getting to this review. We had Brandon Brooks as our DJ and he did an absolutely WONDERFUL job! The entire experience was very comfortable and pleasing from the time of the initial phone call to the time of the handshake at the end of the night at the reception. His appearance and attitude was very professional, yet still wasn't shy of stepping onto the dance floor for a good time! Everything we could have asked for in a DJ service and more!

I don't even know where to begin. From my very first communication with Brandon I knew I had found my DJ. I had heard horror stories from friends of DJs basically disappearing after the contract is signed and then never hearing from them until the wedding day. One of the many things I loved about Brandon and Brooks DJ service is anytime I had any question or concern they got back to me quick and made me feel good about everything they were doing for the wedding day. I used their photobooth, uplighting, and DJ service. Everything went amazing! I had people on the floor for every song and the photobooth pictures were wonderful! I also had some videos made for the father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, and anniversary dance. They were so beautiful and we got so many compliments on them! I had a great experience with Brooks DJ service and I would recommend them to everyone!

Brandon Brooks of Brooks Music DJ services is a fantastic DJ!! He had been the DJ for my brother's wedding and for a number of his friends' weddings and he managed to make each one a unique experience! He did a wonderful job at my wedding and everyone was clamoring for him to continue the party when the hall forced us to shut down shortly after 11pm. It was a great party and we got tons of compliments on his ability to play to the crowd and keep the party going! He was very responsive throughout our planning process and offered lots of great advice. His pricing is also quite reasonable! I would absolutely recommend Brandon and his company to get the party going and keep it going all night long!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of DJ service. Brandon Brooks had quite a challenge with the bride and groom in the Dominican Republic and the parents of the bride in Miami. He filled the requests of all involved and his online planning tool was a life saver. The dance floor only emptied once, and when the DJ saw that, he quickly changed the song and back on the dance floor they went. It was awesome. They even assisted with the traditional passing out of the masks, beads and noise makers for the last hour of celebration. It was great!

Brooks music was a wonderful company to work with, Earl was our head DJ and I cannot stress enough what an exceptional service he provided! It has been almost two weeks since the wedding and every person who has talked to me about it afterward has mentioned what an awesome job he did. When researching wedding DJ's many people said the music could make or break the party- Earl definitely made ours at an incredible price. If you are looking for a DJ in the NE Ohio area- hands down I would go with Brooks Music, my friends and I have already joked about planning another party just to book Earl as a DJ again!

Brandon is an amazing dj because he is more then just a dj. He is the most helpful person when you are planning your wedding. You need to book him asap so he can give you the one thing you get from him that most people do not share, knowledge. He knows all the good vendors, all the good locations, and all the best ways to make your day perfect. He gets an A+ on his music knowledge though. He sits down and really gets to know you and your preferences. As long as you are open and honest with him about what you want (which is easy to do because he is so friendly) then you will have the best night of your life!

I'm so happy that my wife and I decided to use Brooks Music's DJ service for our wedding. Brandon was very professional, courteous, and flexible throughout the entire process. I had been at a few weddings he had done in the past, so I knew he was good, but I didn't realize how much he did besides just play music. Brandon was instrumental in helping keep the wedding on track and everything flowing smoothly. Also, It was also a nice touch that he would take drink orders for the head table during dinner (my groomsmen loved this). We only requested a few songs to play because we trusted that Brandon would have a playlist that kept people on the dance floor, and he definitely didn't appoint. The dance floor was full the whole night! It's been 5 weeks since the wedding, and I have already had close to 10 people ask me for his contact info. I would recommend Brandon to anyone that is looking for a DJ for their wedding.

My husband and I are so happy that we went with Brooks Music to DJ our wedding. They are a major reason why our wedding was absolutely perfect! There was not a SINGLE minute of our wedding when the dance floor was not packed. We even attended a wedding the weekend before ours with other Brooks Music DJs and the dance floor was never bare.
Mike and Xavier went above and beyond making sure our dream wedding was a reality. They did a great job keeping the night's events in order and we did not have to worry about a thing. They were even accommodating when each member of our bridal party was introduced to a different song (one was even a parody song only found on YouTube). Mike also did a great job in entertaining our guests while leading the shoe game. We were surprised at how engaged our guests were during all 20 some questions.
Thanks to the great online system you fill out prior to your event and in person meeting, Mike and Xavier really understood our expectations. They not only provided great music across a number of genres, they provided a great service as a facilitator throughout the whole night to make our wedding a complete success.

Brooks music was very dependable and understanding! My main dj Xavier took so much stress off my shoulders. The music and quality was wonderful! My now-husband, Brian, and I knew at our consultation we had to have Brandon as our wedding DJ. He was so friendly and was open to our ideas and thoroughly answered any questions we had. The online planning tool on their website is great, and I've told so many people about it. It allowed us to take the time to figure out our playlists and special music, along with our "do not" playlists. It was so helpful in making sure we had all of our bases covered. At our wedding, he and his assistant got the bridal party set up with drinks and kept us on schedule for all of the big things (special dances, cake cutting, etc.). Our guests really enjoyed him and we ended up buying an extra half hour since everyone was still up dancing! I would absolutely recommend Brooks Music to anyone!

Brandon was absolutely amazing to work with! He was willing to meet me more than half way each time we met as he is located over an hour away from me! His assistant Earl was just as wonderful the night of out wedding! These two kept our party going ALL night! They took drink orders for our bridal party during dinner. Brandon was very good about making sure everything that we needed to get done was timed accordingly without actually worrying me about the time! My dad has a friend who would have entertained our wedding for free but I couldn't pass up Brooks Music when I read the reviews, I decided to spend a little money and take a chance and I wouldn't take that decision back for anything, even my dad said he did an awesome job and was definitely worth the money we could have otherwise saved! I wouldn't change anything about my experience with Brooks Music and I will definitely recommend Brandon to every bride I know! I also highly encourage purchasing the Photo Memories Slideshow with your package. His dad does an outstanding job and everybody at our wedding loved our slideshow! I hired Brandon to DJ my wedding all the way in SW Florida! He was SO AWESOME from day 1. Answering my emails/calls right away, and was SO HELPFUL! The process in general was very easy and stress free. I was happy before my wedding day with them!

Not only did Brandon (and Ashlea) do an AMAZING JOB with the music, but they helped with SO MUCH MORE and went well above and beyond expected. Bringing the bridal party table drinks, pouring the guest champagne for toasts, and SO MUCH MORE! HOW AMAZING IS THAT?

There is not a SINGLE person that we would not recommend Brooks DJ Service to!
From start to finish, Brandon and Mike were the most helpful, professional people we have ever worked with (wedding or not).
The day we met Brandon and Mike, it was clear that they wouldn't let us worry about anything, not only on the wedding day but also throughout the entire process. They never made us feel as though our questions were dumb or that we were asking the wrong questions - even though I am sure they've been asked them a million times (or maybe not, and they really were crazy questions)..Even last minute, when we called Brandon, he went out of his way to make sure our wedding was perfect for us.
The day of the wedding, Xavier was there waiting for us at the church ready to do whatever we needed. Our ceremony music wasn't traditional and they never questioned us. The music was the perfect volume and perfectly timed. He was prepared and professional.
At the reception, Mike and Xavier blocked guests from seeing us as we walked into the hall, took our drink orders, and are the sole reason we kept on track. They thought of us and consulted with us if anything a guest requested seemed "out of our style". They understood completely what we wanted and were focused on making sure our wedding was perfect for us and our style.
One special touch that we will never forget - Mike offered and went out to our vehicle to get our son's diaper bag so that we didn't have to take a moment away from our guests! Words will never describe how small things make such a big difference! True, genuine, thoughtfulness.
There wasn't a single thing that we had to worry about because everyone on the team had already earned our full trust and proved above and beyond.
The DJ service (ceremony and reception), the uplighting, and the chair covers and sashes proved to be amazing, but the security, trust, and professionalism Brandon and team provided was more than we could have ever imagined!!

Brandon was hands-down the easiest to work with of all of the vendors for our wedding. He prides himself on his responsiveness, and (especially if you are not local) it is really helpful to get a response quickly (before you forget).

He offers all kinds of different services. We highly recommend the video. He calls it a video slideshow, which is technically accurate, but this is nothing like a powerpoint. We weren't originally all that interested in having a slideshow, but it was so well done that we were absolutely thrilled that we did.

If you are planning a wedding, something will come up last minute. For us, that was a necessary adjustment to the schedule. Not only did Brandon work around us, he also comforted our fears that it would throw everything off. He was even able to shift things around for us in the middle of the reception to take better advantage of time. Basically, he made sure everything went well. We couldn't have asked for more.

Somehow I am into a fourth paragraph without even mentioning playing music. Brandon did a great job with music selection. While some of my friends thought we weren't up to the task of picking reception music, Brandon took our choices and really got the crowd going. (Sidenote: Brandon's website is amazing for planning, especially if you are out of town. You can plan the entire reception, including song choices, on your own time.) When we were looking for DJ's, we thought song selection was all we needed, and Brandon was great. But having gone through the experience, I can say that it is invaluable to have a DJ that takes care of everything -- because he will have a solution before you even realize you needed to make a decision. When you have a million things going on, you will be very happy to have him.

Wow--cannot say enough wonderful things about Brooks Music. From the moment I met with him, I had pretty much decided I wanted to have Brandon DJ my wedding, based on first impression alone.
My husband and I found Brandon to be very responsive and extremely professional. He guided us through what we needed to decide on for our wedding-- everything is laid out on an extremely user-friendly website. Brandon and his Wife were such an incredible part of our reception when the date rolled around. They made the entire evening go so smoothly. They were always checking in with us to be sure everything was going well. The music was perfect, the crowd was happy. Brooks Music really was a pleasure to have at our reception! My husband and I had the time our lives dancing the night away with our friends and family. I will definitely recommend Brooks Music to anyone in need of a DJ.

Brandon was fantastic to work with. He was very professional and very fun. I really liked the fact that his table wasn't plastered with a huge banner advertising the name of his business at our reception. I don't even think his limo was branded either. It was an AMAZING deal for both the limo and the DJ and we added on some last-minute uplighting. He and his staff were incredible- they handled the timeline so smoothly- we didn't have to worry about a thing! We had already booked our honeymoon when we contacted him, but he is a very knowledgeable travel agent as well and we will be using him to help book our future vacations!

Mike was our DJ and he was beyond amazing. He was on top of everything, made sure everything ran smoothly. I even forgot to pick a song for something and trusted him to pick something that suites us and he was spot on - which shows you how in tune he is with his clients personalities. Simply put, Brooks's DJ did a fantastic job for my wedding, and he made us feel very confident that it would go well long before we went in. This is because he is very detail oriented, and his website makes it very easy to get all the information to him about your wedding. His follow-up meeting answered every question we had, and his execution of what we asked for was spot on. He was very easy to hear when speaking (some DJ's tend to swallow the microphone, making them sound like one of the parents from Peanuts.)

Most importantly, he did a great job of making sure the attendees at my wedding had a great time.

I would highly recommend this DJ to anyone who asked me.

I used Brandon for my wedding on August 3, 2013. He was our DJ, provided our limo service, and also booked our honeymoon. He was AMAZING! I can truly say he was one of the best parts of our wedding. He does a great job as a DJ and works with the venue and the photographer to keep the reception running smoothly. He truly cares about his clients and bends over backwards to please and make their day the best it can be. My mom was nervous about having to worry about the details at the reception, but felt so much better after having our final meeting with him because she realized that he would take that stress away and handle anything that might come up through the night, which he did wonderfully! I would recommend Brandon for any event and will use him in the future anytime I need a DJ, a limo, or a trip booked!

Earl and Xavier did a great job DJ'ing our wedding reception. They were incredibly organized from the start and took our preferences seriously. The online planning tool really helps avoid any miscommunication and lets you customize the music to your taste. This was especially important to us since we were planning our wedding from a few hundred miles away.

On the day of the reception, both Earl and Xavier were incredibly upbeat and friendly. They kept the reception flowing and got out on the dance floor multiple times to keep the energy up. I literally don't have a single complaint about them, and I heard nothing but good things from our guests. We feel like we really lucked out hiring them.

Brandon and his work and services are Grade A. His great service started months before our wedding date when we met a few times to discuss our plans and wants while he accommodated everything we wanted. Not only was he a big help on planning the DJ service and limo ride but he also helped us plan any other part of our big day we had questions on. Along with being a big help with his knowledge he helped us financially by making deals with us for extended services we bought from him. The big day started when his driver arrived promptly at 11:59 at the salon to pick up my wife and bridesmaids. The limo driver was very helpful in loading and unloading clothes and passengers,courteous when talking to all of us and an all around good driver. He was also very easy going when we went to three different locations for pictures even though the places weren't easy to find or to get to in a stretch Navigator. Once we got to the hall for our reception Brandon greeted us at the door and went over how we do our introductions and entrance. Believe us you have to hear his voice on the microphone because he has the absolute perfect DJ voice. After our entrance he immediately came to our head table and offered to get drinks for everyone from our bar so we wouldn't have to. Throughout the night him or his assistant Earl were willing to do anything and everything to take care of us. The kept the dance floor packed and everyone had a great time especially when Earl joined in to help teach "The Wobble" and Brandon showed off his moves with the worm! The were all around fun and completely entertaining. We had countless compliments on there service from our guest and even people asking for his number for there next celebration. I would recommend any and all of Brandon's services to anyone who asks, he is simply one of the best at his job.

We are beyond happy with the service we received from Brooks Music for our wedding! We initially worked with Brandon scheduling our date. From there, we worked with our DJ Mike. He was more than accommodating when it came to scheduling a meeting and driving to our house to meet to go over certain details, questions and payment plans. The online system is awesome when it came to picking songs/giving suggestions and you didn't have to pick everything all at once. They have a huge selection of music and even used some of our own custom music we provided. At the reception, Mike (and assistant) kept things flowing (even the drinks for the head table!). We have 5 small children whom they were VERY patient with as they requested many songs throughout the night! Our reception was AWESOME and exceeded our expectations! They literally had to kick us out of the reception hall b/c EVERYONE was still dancing! We HIGHLY recommend Brooks Music and would've also used limo service but the vehicle we requested was already booked. THANK YOU BROOKS MUSIC!!!

They are early (not just on time.... early). They play to the crowd. Xavier (one of their DJ's) is soooooooooo wonderful! I specially request him! I cannot recommend them enough. I will never use another DJ service! With Brooks Music, you will not be dissappointed!

Brandon and Earl did a phenomenal job!! They were extremely professional and accommodating throughout the entire process. There was never a doubt in our mind that they'd do a fantastic job and they completely put us at ease. Everything went seamlessly and our guests absolutely loved Earl. I'd absolutely recommend Brooks Music.
