The Most Perfect Day!
The Annex at the Brooklyn Arts Center was the perfect choice for our wedding day. From the bridal suite, to the beautiful stain glass windows, to the gorgeous brick detailing throughout, we were absolutely in love. The venue is very versatile and I believe it can make any couple's visions, dreams, and style come true for their wedding day. I cannot recommend this venue enough!Sent on 01/01/2020

Where to begin…maybe with the 3+ hour tour that Rich gave us when we first visited the BAC and the Annex. You could really tell that he was not only passionate about what he does and his space, but also about giving you absolute perfection and making you happy and stress-free. He was so fun to be with and so helpful. Before we even signed a contract, he had narrowed our vendor list down with us, offering all of his wisdom and advice and years of experience in the Wilmington wedding industry. Once we signed the contract, Rich continued to be incredibly helpful, going out of his way to answer questions and offer advice, which was especially helpful considering we were planning from 4+ hours away and couldn’t just "drop in" any weekend. Rich was there to oversee and check in on our big day and we felt so happy that he was a part of this experience. He truly put our minds at ease and delivered on making sure our day was everything we wanted and more.
I’ll add that guests are still raving about the space—the Annex was perfect for what we wanted- an intimate celebration with our family and friends, offering some old school (literally – the Annex is an old Sunday schoolhouse- perfect for people who work in education!) charm. We ended up at around 90 people and it was perfect. Plus the upstairs and downstairs is ideal because you are able to flip spaces (we did ceremony upstairs, cocktail hour downstairs, dinner upstairs, and dancing downstairs.Sent on 12/14/2019
Brooklyn Arts Center and the Annex are so special! A renovated church, they both have exposed brick and wood that evokes a rustic feel, though you can design anything in either space! Hosting more than just weddings, the Brooklyn Arts Center is a unique space that allows you to find your design style and bring your event to life. The entire team at Brooklyn Arts Center & Annex is professional & knowledgable, having hosted hundreds of events throughout the years it's been open, as well as passionate and a pleasure of with to work. We love working with couples from the Brooklyn Arts Center and the Annex!
We absolutely love performing weddings at Brooklyn Arts Center. Rich and his team are undeniably some of the best in the industry. They care and it shows. The venue itself is gorgeous and historic and can handle your ceremony and reception in one downtown location steps from the Cape Fear River. You will love it!
This is one of our favorite places in Wilmington, NC to film! Rich and his staff have created a truly wonderful and memorable venue.
