Steve and Janell, a husband-and-wife team, are committed to providing couples with an unforgettable experience as well as amazing imagery that preserves your memories. They use top-of-the-line, professional equipment and pour all of their creativity and enthusiasm into capturing the love, laughter, and joy of your event.
Services Offered
The team Brilliant Captures Photography & Short Films books one event per day to ensure that your celebration receives their undivided attention. They can provide coverage of your entire local or destination wedding, including the rehearsal dinner, pre-ceremony preparations, the ceremony, and your reception. Engagement shoots, portraits, and trash-the-dress sessions are also available. Along with photography, Steve and Janell can provide videography services for your big day. They film in a variety of styles, including cinematic, traditional, storytelling, and documentary, and the high-definition footage can be edited into highlight or full-feature films.

Absolutely Amazing!
Steve was the best photographer anyone could ask for. He went above and beyond for us and was extremely patient with us. He never rushed me even though I was an hour late and constantly reassured me. He develops a schedule for you of your wedding day and at first you might not think you need it but trust me, it’s a life saver and it truly makes him stand out from the rest. I’m sure my pictures and video will be just as amazing as our experience dealing with him. He is worth every penny and so much more! It speaks volumes if your friends, family and total strangers comment on how awesome your photographer is and how great of a job he does with keeping everyone on track. I’ll never forget the work he and his crew did and I thank them endlessly!

Highly recommend!
If I could give Steve higher than 5 stars I would. he was amazing. He gave me everything and more that I asked for. The day of the wedding we had a huge storm and he called before his start time to make sure I was doing ok. All of the pictures came out amazing, and I got them back quickly. I highly reccomend him and will continue to recommend him to anyone I know looking for a photographer.

Best Photographer/videographer we could have chosen!
We couldn’t be more happier with any other photographer and videographer for our wedding! From our engagement pictures to our wedding day Steve really made us feel so comfortable during our shoot and had such an amazing time in the mix of it all! He was very patient with our wedding party being we had 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen and we all know how difficult that can be. Him and his wife, which was our wedding planner made such a perfect team together. They both definitely know how to make a bride and groom feel special and we had so much fun doing it all. Our wedding video is seriously to die for! I cry and get the chills every time I see it! I’m so thankful to have that too look back on when we want to relive the best day of our lives again. I will recommend him to all our family and friends for sure! Best decision ever!!
