Steve was the best photographer anyone could ask for. He went above and beyond for us and was extremely patient with us. He never rushed me even though I was an hour late and constantly reassured me. He develops a schedule for you of your wedding day and at first you might not think you need it but trust me, it’s a life saver and it truly makes him stand out from the rest. I’m sure my pictures and video will be just as amazing as our experience dealing with him. He is worth every penny and so much more! It speaks volumes if your friends, family and total strangers comment on how awesome your photographer is and how great of a job he does with keeping everyone on track. I’ll never forget the work he and his crew did and I thank them endlessly! -

If I could give Steve higher than 5 stars I would. he was amazing. He gave me everything and more that I asked for. The day of the wedding we had a huge storm and he called before his start time to make sure I was doing ok. All of the pictures came out amazing, and I got them back quickly. I highly reccomend him and will continue to recommend him to anyone I know looking for a photographer. -

We couldn’t be more happier with any other photographer and videographer for our wedding! From our engagement pictures to our wedding day Steve really made us feel so comfortable during our shoot and had such an amazing time in the mix of it all! He was very patient with our wedding party being we had 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen and we all know how difficult that can be. Him and his wife, which was our wedding planner made such a perfect team together. They both definitely know how to make a bride and groom feel special and we had so much fun doing it all. Our wedding video is seriously to die for! I cry and get the chills every time I see it! I’m so thankful to have that too look back on when we want to relive the best day of our lives again. I will recommend him to all our family and friends for sure! Best decision ever!! -

Steve made our special day last a life time. He literally captured the moment. We will forever have these photos to look back with plenty of Joy. I especially loved how he navigated the entire wedding making the experience seamless. He picked the perfect moments to capture the perfect poses. We didn't miss a beat with our family an freinds.He even made them feel very much involved while making sure it was still all about my wife.. the bride! We have referred him to all of our colleagues and friends that are getting married and he hasn't let us down yet! Consistently doing awesome work. -
Sarah Sent on 07/28/2018Steve did absolutely wonderful at our wedding! He adjusted to our small wedding and at somewhat last minute! He made everyone photographed feel totally comfortable. He was a talented photographer and i wished that he had gotten my engaged photos too! I highly recommend him!

Carly Sent on 07/27/2018If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! This team is incredible- Steve is hands down the most on top of it, fun to work with, talented photographer around. He made our engagement session, my bridals, and my wedding day so memorable. The work he did was beautiful. I hate pictures of myself, but I can’t stop looking at these photos and they will be framed all over our home. Steve went above and beyond what a photographer is ever expected to do and I can’t thank Brilliant Captures enough!

So far we have just done our engagement pictures with Steven but we are IN LOVE with the way they turned out! My fiance and I were both nervous to take the pictures but Steven made us feel so comfortable and we had SO much fun taking the pictures. I can't believe how beautiful they turned out!! We are so excited to have Brilliant Captures at our wedding! -

Artem Sent on 07/20/2022Well priced, professional, but pictures were bad and post-wedding support is horrible
Steven and his wife run a photography business on the side. Our conversations with him were wonderful, he was professional, and was punctual during the wedding day. Everything seemed to be going well and we were having an incredible time. He captured all the seemingly perfect photos that we wanted. 1 week after the wedding we finally had access to our photos and immediately ran into our first major problem. The access log on what supposed to be an email address (mine), but he didn't correctly phrase it. I guessed email addresses until I eventually figured out how he made the mistake, and was able to access the photos. I asked Steven to fix the email address 3 times, and even provided the correct email address each time. But he, to this day, has not bothered to fix it, and has bafflingly used even more incorrect permutations of my email address. I gave up trying to have him fix it due to his incredible unresponsiveness post-wedding. Major problem 2, the photos were not good. At least the photos of me and my wife. I'm suspecting he used the wrong lens because we both look much larger/rounder than we're supposed to. Now, I'm not super skinny, but the pictures made me look fat. Same with my wife. We both lost over 25 lbs each for our big day, and the pictures from Steven are tragic. We look totally normal in all of our friends' posts mind you, so at least we can remember our beautiful day through their work. There's no re-do button for this, so it's something we'll just have to live with. But I hope that others can make a more educated day for their own weddings with our experience.
