I recently had the opportunity to attend a private birthday event that a friend hosted at the BrighterDaze venue. Can't beat mother nature as the perfect backdrop for your event or wedding and reception. Perfect combination of elegant meets rustic - just gorgeous - and the BDF team will exceed all of your expectations...wonderfully accommodating and professional!! Love the venue and the people! I would highly recommend BrighterDaze Farm to anyone who is looking for their next event location or to a bride who is wanting a beautiful, rustic wedding!

We just held our son's 8th Grade Graduation Party at Brighter Daze Events with approx. 70 people. The facility and wide open spaces leave you so many configuration opportunities, you'll always have room for more and all you want to do at your event. Everyone of my guests were thrilled and amazed that they hadn't been aware of the facility! We highly recommend you you all check out this hidden gem! Host, DJ, Food, Games, Dancing, and all around fun were more than we could have dreamed of!

This is one of the most charming and breathtaking places I have ever seen. I attending a beautiful wedding at Brighterdaze and all I can say is WOW. Such a wonderful atmosphere that I am planning to have a graduation party here. I would highly recommend this venue.

I've attended two weddings at this beautiful location. Each was wonderful. So relaxed and laid back but in such a beautiful setting. A unique venue to make your wedding special.

We recently had the unfortunate experience of planning our wedding at Brighter Daze Farm and we must say, it was a disappointing journey from start to finish. While the venue itself is beautiful, the professionalism of the staff and their adherence to our contract left much to be desired.

From the outset, communication was a significant issue. After submitting our deposit we had a scheduled meeting with JoAnn and our caterer, but when the day arrived, JoAnn was no where to be found. Despite arriving on time and waiting over an hour, JoAnn failed to communicate or even acknowledge our presence. I attempted to reach out via phone and email, but received no response until the following day. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for clarification on details outlined in our contract, responses were often delayed or vague. When we finally did receive answers, they frequently contradicted our original agreement. This lack of consistency created unnecessary stress as we approached our wedding date.

On the day of the event, several key aspects that were promised in our contract were either neglected or outright ignored. For example, we were assured that we would have a valet service and one week prior to our wedding we received a “heads up” unprofessional email from JoAnn that the valet double booked and we would not have valet service. After our fathers had a meeting with JoAnn about this we learned that the valet was never double booked, but JoAnn underestimated the cost of the valet and would not incur any additional costs to provide this service although it was in our contract.

Additionally, our contract included a horse carriage to take the bride down to the ceremony and five minutes before the ceremony we were told he was broken down and would not be available for 45 minutes. When we signed our contract in July of 2023 we were told we would have two full bars, one inside and one outside. Two days before our wedding we found out from our wedding coordinator that JoAnn was only allowing one full bar inside and the bar outside for cocktail hour to serve beer and wine only (at this point we had already ordered all of our alcohol). Unfortunately the amenities we were promised—such as the use of horse carriage and two full bars—were unavailable, forcing us to scramble last minute.

The unprofessionalism continued when we attempted to discuss our concerns post-wedding. Our Milwaukee leaf blower was missing the next morning when we arrived to pick up all of our decor, our wedding cake (more than 90% left) that was asked to be kept overnight was in the dumpster, and our custom dog cake toppers were also missing. We then went to the dumpster to find our wedding cake thrown away, and after getting in the dumpster to look for our custom cake toppers we never found them. After asking to speak to JoAnn and Adam about these issues, they finally agreed to meet with us after trying to contact them multiple times and they refused to take any accountability.

JoAnn displayed unprofessional behavior, yelling at our family members, when all we wanted was answers, and we deserved those answers after spending thousands of dollars. What’s more concerning is their complete lack of accountability for the terms they broke. JoAnn blamed the vendors that she contracted out for all of the issues that were at hand. Instead of addressing our concerns, they deflected responsibility and we were told to “get the fuck off their property”. We also told JoAnn she is not allowed to use our photos to advertise and we were told she will use any photos she wants and that she had already blocked us on Facebook. JoAnn let us know that our wedding was the wedding from hell, while all of our guests and vendors told us it was the nicest wedding Brighter Daze has ever hosted and will ever host.

As for the vendors hired by Brighter Daze (NOT EMPLOYED BY BRIGHTER DAZE) including the bartenders, wedding coordinator, and DJ were absolutely wonderful. Our coordinator shared her frustrations towards JoAnn with us and that this would be the last wedding she would ever work at Brighter Daze due to JoAnn’s unprofessionalism for our wedding and others before. Multiple vendors hired by JoAnn told us that every wedding with her is a circus and unprofessional. The vendors that we hired ourselves also told us they will never work a wedding there again and do not want to be affiliated with Brighter Daze in any way.

We absolutely cannot recommend Brighter Daze Farm based on our experience to anyone for their special day. Weddings are meant to be joyful occasions, but the lack of professionalism and disregard for our contract turned ours into a source of stress. Instead of feeling excited about our big day, we left feeling anxious and disheartened. Communication and respect are crucial in the wedding planning process, and unfortunately, that was non existent here. Please learn from our mistake and avoid BrighterDaze Farm at all costs.

I had the opportunity to be a part of my little sister’s big day! A day that is to be stress free for her and her future husband but was far from that. Leading up to the wedding my sister and her fiancé had nothing but one issue after another due to the unprofessional owner JoAnn. They signed their contract a year ago for their wedding and there were multiple items they were promised that unfortunately they did not receive on their big day. At the time of signing their contract the owner did NOT have a liquor license. They were allowed to bring in their own liquor and the bar vendor would be serving the liquor. Please note all vendors on her wedding day were AMAZING!! Vendors did not work for BrighterDaze Farm. Leading up to their wedding day they were told they could no longer have two full bars. JoAnn now stated that the outdoor bar would only be serving beer, wine and seltzers. My sister and her fiancé prepared to have two full bars as this was stated in their contract. One week prior to their big day my sister received yet another unprofessional email stating “head ups” the valet service is double booked and will not be able to accommodate your day, I will reimburse you. The communicate was poor and there was no apology or mention of we are doing everything we can and are looking into other services. Only I will reimburse you! Completely unacceptable. JoAnn does not have experience running a business nor understanding how to communicate with people when it comes to planning a wedding. She is in the wrong line of business and should stick to raising horses. Her day arrived and received word that the horse and carriage she booked was going to be late. Forty-five minutes late! Those that have been married understand you are on a schedule from the second you walk down the aisle to photography, dinner, first dance and the list goes on. We arrived at the venue the day after to wedding to retrieve her décor, liquor and items that were left behind. We found her entire wedding cake in the dumpster (was in the fridge the night before as majority of the cake was not touched). Her custom dog cake toppers were gone and an $800 Milwaukee leaf blower that was brought to the venue the day of to clean areas while setting up. If you want a smooth, seamless wedding with no issues leading up to your wedding day we do NOT recommend BrighterDaze Farm. Joann is the most unprofessional person and treated our families with no respect.
