Located in Huntley, Illinois, Lincoln Farmstead is a dairy barn wedding venue. Originally built in the 1920s, but recently renovated, this unique establishment is open for weddings from May to October. Owners Brad and Terri want couples and their loved ones to feel at home in their venue to add to the intimacy of the celebration. This family-owned barn can host both ceremony and reception and is perfect for couples seeking a traditional, rustic venue. The barn can also hold bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners.
Facilities and Capacity
Lincoln Farmstead can host your entire wedding day, from the hours spent preparing for the ceremony to late-night dancing. Two get-ready rooms, one in the old corn crib and one in the old milk house, blend this venue’s rustic charm with modern comfort. For couples seeking an outdoor ceremony, this location can offer both a covered patio and various uncovered sites. The barn’s lower level can be used for your wedding ceremony in the case of inclement weather rendering an outdoor ceremony unfeasible. To gracefully move your wedding from reception to entertainment, the barn can be used for both dining and dancing. Brad and Terri can provide tables and chairs for parties of up to 200 guests. Artfully landscaped patios allow guests to admire the grassy surroundings while enjoying the fresh country air. The Shed boasts prime seating for a picturesque sunset with a laidback atmosphere for sipping on cocktails.

They can provide a coordinator to support you in whatever capacity you require while you plan your day. Couples can avail of the venue’s event coordinator to keep an eye on all of the thoughtfully-chosen details on the day itself. Setup services are provided, and this venue will also clean up your decorations when the celebration is over. Custom Adirondack chairs are available for loved ones who want to gather around the fire pit and reminisce. Best decision I made during wedding planning
The venue was absolutely stunning!! It’s large and spacious with so many spaces to use outside and indoors.
Not only that, but the space was transformable. Something that meant a lot to me was that I would have the freedom to choose my own food, bring in my own cakes, set up drapery, etc. The owners of Lincoln Farmstead are open to so many ideas and helping your vision come together!
On that note, the owners are amazing! I worked with Terri since day one. She’s sweet, charming, and so helpful with great ideas!
I cant recommend the Lincoln Farmstead enough!! The venue is absolutely stunning with so much charm and open space!!

Feels Like Home
The Lincoln family are the kindest, supportive, and warmest people that we had the pleasure of working with. They were there for us every step of the way. Like so many other couples we had to postpone our September 2020 wedding to June 2021- a decision we never thought we would have to make as a bride and groom. The Lincolns supported us through our decision and it was an understanding and love you don’t often see coming from wedding venues for their couples. We will forever be grateful for them and their grace.
Our wedding day was beautiful. The barn was stunning. The staff was incredible. Everything about that day was just so enjoyable and lovely. Three years in the making and it was the happiest day of our lives - immersed in the same charm, beauty, and that “feels like home” energy we experienced the first time we visited. Lincoln Farmstead isn’t just a venue- it’s a place to call home for the day with your closest family and friends. We love you Lincoln Farmstead. Thank you for EVERYTHING!
