I highly recommend Kim for month-of planning! We used Bride and Joy for our September 2018 wedding at Salvage One. Working with Kim was a dream-- she is so calm and professional-- Kim helped me organize the chaos and enjoy the process. Kim previously worked at Salvage One, so coordination was a breeze. I had many vendors and had a lot of DIY aspects to my wedding-- Kim was able and willing to help me coordinate all the vendors and went above and beyond, helping us organize and set up the whole room. I would work with Kim again in a heartbeat!

Erin and Kim were awesome! I highly recommend their month of service package. The month leading up to our wedding was such a breeze because Erin stepped in and handled almost everything. She simply asked for the contact information of all our vendors and took it from there. My groom and I made no decisions on our wedding day because Bride and Joy handled it all. They understood our vision and timeline and executed the day for us. If there were any issues on our wedding day, we knew nothing about them because if there were issues they were handled behind the scenes by Bride and Joy. We had a perfect wedding day and I attribute a lot of the perfection to Bride and Joy.

I am so thankful that we hired Erin Shanley Kim at Bride and Joy Events as our day-of/month-of coordinator for our May wedding at Salvage One. Erin is extremely responsive, detailed, and organized, and she's also fun to work with. From our initial phone call to our first meeting to go over all the details, to the wedding day, she felt like a close friend. She made me feel comfortable and reassured me along the way, which helped manage any wedding stress I had. She coordinated seamlessly with all my vendors and family, and she was with me on my big day from the morning until the last guest had left the venue, and I couldn't have done it without her. Everything ran so smoothly and we received so many compliments from our guests. If anything went wrong behind the scenes, I was blissfully unaware - thanks to Erin, I was able to sit back and enjoy my wedding day. Recently, I served as the officiant for a couple that hired Erin as their wedding planner. I can't say enough about her professionalism and attention to details. Erin's email communication was clearly written and timely and the day of coordination was seamless. She truly added a remarkable finishing touch to the ArtTango space (and made my job easier)!!!!

Kim was AMAZING! I booked her for my day-of coordinator, and am SO happy I did! We met about a month before my wedding and went through all the details. She was so patient, asked lots of questions and took a ton of notes to make sure she made my day perfect. On the day of, I wouldn't have gotten through without her. She handled my vendors and set-up flawlessly. She kept us on track with our timeline and made everything happen without a hitch! Now after the wedding, I am finding out about things she handled and helped with that I had no idea about. Kim is a great planner and always on top of things. She is very responsive, provides opinions, educates us on the planning process, and very easy to work with. She always keeps our budget in mind and our final expense was right around our budget(which is not easy to hold a 60 people event in downtown Chicago hotel).
