I had a wonderful experience with Gladys and Lourdes. This was the first shop I went to and it shaped what I looked for in other stores after. I had an idea of what I wanted and thought would look good on me until I tried it on. The ladies there helped me figure out which type of dress was more flattering to me after I was disappointed with my initial inclinations.
They brought an array of dresses which I initially hadn't even considered.

They were honest about what looked best and what parts of it, etc. So, if you don't want honest feedback it might not be your kind of store, but I certainly appreciated it, especially since I was by myself. They brought dresses and put one at a time in the changing room for me while having a lineup outside for me to choose from (both that I had picked out and that they recommended). They helped me close them and pin them but did not help me put them on like other places. I personally preferred that, but I know some brides liked to be helped.

I had an additional requirement which they were the MOST helpful for of all five stores I went to during my dress shopping experience. I am not looking for the most bridal gown that you end up only wearing once but for something versatile that I can convert to an evening dress for the many black-tie events in the DC area. These ladies were creative and brainstormed with me how to do that, based on their extensive experience in alterations. Besides just cutting the train, they talked about which designs were most versatile and how different textures would respond to dye, etc. No other store helped fulfill that goal like this one.

I found my dress at Bridals By Natalie in 2019 and it was the absolute best experience. As a wedding photographer, I was nervous that the experience wouldn't live up to the hype and Gladys and the team made the experience warm, real and so special. This was one of the last places I visited to try dresses on and the moment I put on my dress, I knew right away that it was the right one. They have an amazing selection that was inclusive yet didn't overwhelm me as I was trying to decide between a few styles. Their communication was clear and the dress was fitted and tailored within no time. So thankful to have found the ladies here! I've recommended so many of my friends to head their way when looking for dresses or accessories.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have been dress shopping with many girlfriends and I had looked at few larger stores and smaller boutiques before I came across Bridals by Natalie. I had probably tried on 8-10 dresses total and I had found a dress that I liked, but wasn't in love with. I took two of my bridesmaids with me and between the three of us, we picked about 6 dresses. It was lucky number 7 that Lourdes picked for me and the one I very happily said yes to! She was so patient with me and I never felt pressured to buy, even when I said I wanted to come back with the moms (mine and his) before buying.

Regarding alterations, one of the seamstresses contradicted an alteration that had been suggested by the shop and that I wanted. Bridals by Natalie addressed this and met with me making small changes until it was the dress of my dreams. It ended up fitting like it was designed around my body rather than designed and altered to fit me.

I am so happy I chose Bridals by Natalie!

Dress shopping was the very first thing I did upon getting engaged and Bridals by Natalie was an amazing way to start my wedding planning. They are kind, caring and most of all they care about what’s best for the bride. They paid attention to my wants so closely that I was able to find my dream gown on my first attempt at dress shopping. Fittings have also been a breeze! Wedding planning can get stressful but the dress process was the least stressful part of the entire process. I highly recommend them!

I waited until Bridals by Natalie was hosting a Kitty Chen trunk-show to do my dress fitting. I'd tried two other shops previous to this appointment but did not have the best experiences. Bridals by Natalie only had one of the dresses I was hoping to try on, however, the stylist Crystal pulled multiple other dresses that she thought would fit my vision and my taste. All of the dresses were gorgeous! Crystal was so helpful and attentive. I did not go with the Kitty Chen dress because it was too massive and heavy... Instead, I fell immediately in love with one of the dresses Crystal pulled by VanillaSposa. I knew it was the one the moment I put it on. The entire staff made me feel welcomed and all of my interactions thereafter were so positive. I ordered my dress at the end of May 2018 during my visit and it arrive in November. I also ordered my veil from there -- and although I felt it was totally overpriced, it was beautiful and I couldn't imagine not having it. My experience with this salon was even better than I'd hoped for. They had a large selection of dresses (and they weren't all size 2s). Awesome bridal salon!

I had a fabulous experience with Bridals by Natalie last year finding and customizing my dream dress for my February wedding. From helping me find my beautiful Ida Torez gown, to adding custom sheer sleeves, removing the back paneling, and tailoring it to perfection I could not have been happier with the result! The team at Bridals by Natalie is so friendly and welcoming and truly make me feel like a gorgeous and special bride! I adore them!

I had a wonderful experience with these beautiful ladie!! They were attentive, patient and found my ideal dress! Other boutiques called me complicated for having a certain vision, but the ladies at Bridals by Natalie didn’t give up! I’m excited for my wedding gown to arrive!

**UPDATE** I absolutely love my gown! I can't describe how amazing it felt to put it on the day of, to dance around in it the whole evening and to get so many beautiful pictures in it! I went into this process knowing exactly what I wanted and I actually worked as a bridal stylist while my dress buying process was occurring. Bridals by Natalie was a dream to buy a dress from. they were able to accommodate me trying on the dress i had been in love with for awhile and ended up buying, the fittings were so easy and the dress turned out magnificently. I would absolutely recommend both Bridals by Natalie and Milla Nova for outstanding wedding gowns

Gladys was so sweet and supportive. She helped me find the perfect dress, and gave me honest advice throguhout, as I was there alone most appointments. She even went to bat for me with alterations when things weren't quite right, and when I needed to be fitted on a tighter timeline. I would recommend working with her to anyone. She made my experience worry free and enjoyable.
