Haha, I'm just going to put this out there on this website before this Katie F. chick gets on here to slander Mary Beth's Bridal Formal on yet another wedding retailer customer review board. This girl is obviously involved with one of the other wedding retailers in the area that MBB&FW is putting out of business due to her great customer service, unreal inventory, and competitive pricing. If you are visiting or are from the area, and are planning a wedding or getting ready for prom or just about any type of formal event, you would be silly not to check out MBB&FW. She offers the best brands of all types that you are most likely going to pay more for in a bigger city. Believe what you want when reading these reviews on here or on Merchant Circle or any other customer review message board. Bottom line is you have to go to Mary Beth's Bridal and Formal Wear to experience the truth for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Mary Beth was a godsend for me. She made sure everything was done ontime and correctly. One of my bridesmaids backed out after the dress was ordered and she put it out on the floor to sell. She made my life a million times easier and took the stress out of a lot of formalwear related things. When we had a few tuxes that were too big, she had them ordered correctly and in the next day. I would recomend her to anyone!

I will never do business with this bridal shop EVER again. Dealing with them was an absolute nightmare. Because of the designer of my gown, I only had 2 bridal shops on the west coast of Florida to order my dress. Since I am located in Tampa, I either had to drive 2 hours south to Port Charlotte or 2 hours north to Crystal River. I called Mary Beth’s ahead of time to explain that I was driving 2 hours to them to order my dress and they were at first very attentive to me and were flexible because of my situation. I ordered my dress in October of 2011 for my March 2012 wedding. I was told that I would get a call the next business day to tell me when it would be delivered. I never received that phone call, so I decided to call the shop myself and check. I left a message with Vonda and she said that Mary Beth would contact me with the delivery date that week. A week went by and no phone call. So I called again to try to get my delivery date, and I was told that Mary Beth was sick and that as soon as she came back in the office I would get my delivery date. 2 weeks after my dress was ordered I was told it would be there on January 15th and that they would call me when it was delivered. That would give me plenty of time for alterations. January 15th came and went with no phone call. So once again I decided to call and check on the delivery of my dress. Vonda told me that it was being delivered that week and that they would call me back to let me know when it got there. Another week went by and no phone call. So AGAIN I had to call them and check on it. They told me that they attempted delivery to the shop but everyone got the flu and the shop was closed, and my dress was sent back to the manufacturer. At this point it is 45 days from my wedding and I don’t have my dress. I had to continue to call them every day to get an update on my dress because no one would call me back. My dress wasn’t delivered to me until around February 20th which is 1 month AFTER my original delivery date. I had to pay extra for alterations because the shop was irresponsible. They knew my dress was on the way and didn’t have anyone there to sign for it. I don’t think it should have been my responsibility to contact them almost every day for 2 weeks to get an update on my dress. Every time I was told someone was going to contact me I never got a phone call, and that is UNACCEPTABLE.

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THEM.
