She sat down and explained everything thoroughly and even subbed the free engagement/ bridals for a Sunrise trash the dress shoot the morning after our wedding! The pictures turned out beautiful 😍 She was prompt with getting back to me and traveled to the beach to shoot our wedding! I would definitely recommend!

I booked my entire wedding around Brandy’s availability and was not disappointed in the slightest. My wedding photos were beautiful and everything I hoped they would be. I actually ended up booking her for a budoir shoot a couple of months after my wedding as well. Her pricing was way less than other photographers I looked at and her quality was way better. You can’t go wrong with Brandy!

I've done at least 5 shoots with Brandy and every single one has been great. In Studio solo shots, mermaid shots with my daughter, boudoir shots for my husband to be, engagement AND wedding. Everything was amazing and the price for what you get is great. I never even needed edits.

I hired Brandy to do a 40th birthday shoot for myself. I had just gotten divorced, lost a bunch of weight and wanted to have some fun. She was great. She did make up and hair, had tons of lingerie options to choose from, made me feel very comfortable and the pictures came out even better than I had hoped. I would absolutely work with her again. It was a pleasure.

If you’re looking for a red flag, this is it.
I hired Brandy for my daughter’s wedding because I had seen her work and I knew others that had used her. She is a great photographer, I will give her that. She is creative and has a good eye for pictures and compared to some other photographers in the area, she was reasonably priced so we decided to go with her. Had I known what I would have to deal with using her though, I would’ve gladly paid a higher price and used somebody else.
No communication from the time we hired her until the day of my daughter’s wedding was ever initiated by her. I always had to reach out to her and most of those times, I’d have to text her multiple times before I got a response.
Seeing my daughters pictures from the bridal sitting required me to download and pay a monthly subscription to Dropbox which is the app Brandy uses to send them out which I didn’t like having to do. However, the actual wedding pictures were mailed to me on a thumb drive. She said there’s just too many pictures she takes for weddings and can’t upload them all but I know of other wedding photographers that post pictures online for their clients so her practice of mailing a thumb drive seems very outdated to me.
Her contract states that wedding pictures would be ready in 6-8 weeks after the wedding (and sometimes sooner) – we got ours at 9 weeks. I think 6-8 weeks is excessive to begin with but anything more than that is just ridiculous. I attempted to contact her several times during the 8th week and my attempts went unanswered because she was traveling across the country. She didn’t have any problems uploading photos of her travels so I knew she was probably getting my messages and had the capability to respond but just chose not to. Also during the several months prior to the wedding, Brandy’s cell phone number changed at least 3 times so there were several instances when I messaged her multiple times with no responses and finally had to send emails to her business email and wait on her assistant to respond with a different phone number for me to try. It was extremely frustrating to know that any time we needed to get in touch with her would likely be an ordeal or a total failure…..it’s unprofessional and rude. In my opinion, she acts like she enjoys taking pictures but just doesn’t enjoy working with people. I feel like when you own your own business there is a certain level of professionalism that should be maintained - a level in my opinion that Brandy does not have.
There are a lot of good photographers out there and while Brandy’s work is good – her way of doing business and her customer service skills are about as horrible as anything I’ve ever encountered. Do your homework before choosing the person to capture the photos of your special day. I would’ve rather paid more money to work with a photographer that takes pictures just as good and gotten them in less time with A LOT LESS headache.
