Giti is truly incredible! She is such a sweet person to work with, and she made amazing centerpieces, bouquets, arch for the ceremony and much more for our wedding. Guests were coming up to us all night letting us know how amazing the florals were. We couldn’t be happier to have had the chance to work with Giti and create a magical space for our wedding!

Giti was the absolute best person to work with to bring our dreams to life! She has the true eye of an artist, and after seeing a few pieces of our day (my dress, bridesmaids' dresses, the venue) she knew exactly what color scheme and what kind of floral design would not only compliment our taste and our vision but bring the entire design aspect from the day to life. Giti is hands down the best florist in the Newport RI area and she is incredible to work with- responsive, creative, attentive to detail, and will go above and beyond to make the day flawless and everything you could have imagined! Giti absolutely blew our wedding dreams out of the water! She listened to our ideas and created the most stunning flowers. It's literally all our guests can talk about. She was so accommodating and such a wonderful addition to our wedding day! When my bouquet arrived I requested we add a bit more pink and she did it within minutes. I also had a very specific vision for our escort card display and she absolutely nailed it. Just look at the pictures, they speak for themselves.

Giti really and truly helped make our day one of a kind. From the centerpieces, to the bouquets, to the ceremony setup—our reception looked truly magical. Flowers that me and my guests still cannot stop talking about.

Not only were our flowers beautiful, but Giti made this process so easy. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and truly loves her job. Due to have a late March wedding, my husband and I had been unsure as to wether we were having an indoor or outdoor ceremony—Giti allowed us to make this decision 3 days before our wedding which was so nice due to how unpredictable the weather is in a Rhode Island. Additionally, Giti came early the day of our wedding and stayed to ensure everything was perfect—even making sure that my train was fixed just right as I walked down the aisle.

I gave Giti my vision and she was able to deliver it better than I had pictured. We are so thankful.

Giti is absolutely incredible, I could not recommend her enough. She is a creative mind who has a passion for her work and is a true professional. She wants to understand all details of your wedding to make sure she understand exactly the feeling you are trying to achieve through the floral arrangements. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her beautiful work. Everything that is done by Botanica Flowers is created and assembled by Giti herself. She is not only the mastermind behind everything, but she is so hands on and wants to do everything herself to ensure it’s the exact vision. Other florists I spoke with outsourced the flower transportation and assembly work for the day of the wedding which made me nervous on the quality of the set up and vision. However, Giti is there every step of the way and knowing the person I worked with would be the one executing everything gave me such a peace of mind.
I cannot recommended Giti enough. She is such a sweet woman to work with which makes the (often stressful) wedding process that much more enjoyable. When we changed our vision from a fall wedding to a summer wedding I was really struggling with what to do and she was so patient with us. She sat with us for hours while we sifted through magazines and examples of flowers to nail down the direction.
She is the best!!! You can’t go wrong with her! Highly recommend!!!

From a former bride to a future bride, I’m telling you that you need Giti. It took me so long to review her because I knew just how long this review would be. Please look to the bottom for a summary if you’re short on time.

Venue: Rosecliff in May of 2019. I searched high and low for a floral design studio in Newport. I started first with Rosecliff’s recommended vendors. I firmly believe Giti should have been on that list. After we booked Giti, the coordinator and staff at Rosecliff could not stop gushing about her and her work. I believe the coordinator’s words were: “Oh you’re just going to love her. Giti has always exceeded her couple’s expectations.” Do you know how hard it is to exceed the expectations of a Rosecliff bride? Giti does just that. This leads me to my first point of interest.

Budget: This is where Giti shines. We’ve heard from many coordinators that the pricing of your florals tends to change based on the event (a wedding) and the venue. I often felt there was a “Rosecliff tax” for most vendors we spoke with. In fact, I endured months of speaking with florists who just declined to work within our budget. This is NOT Giti. From the first time I spoke with her I knew she was the one not only because she agreed to work with our budget, but also because she understood my vision right away. Although we were on a budget, I don’t want you to get the idea that Giti is not fully capable of handling the unlimited spending on floral that you may want to do. I’ve seen Giti’s portfolio which ranges from a celebrity budget to our modest one. Here’s the thing, Giti will make it look like you paid far more than you actually did. I’ve never met a bride whose wedding florals exceeded their expectations and looked far more expensive than they actually were until now. This is not just according to my novice eye. My sister in law is getting married and showed our wedding flowers to her coordinator who estimated that we paid almost twice as much as we did! Even in a less expensive state such as Texas, my sister in law could not find a florist who could do anything close to Giti’s work for the price point. According to the Rosecliff staff, this is commonplace with Giti. How does she do this without skimping on quality? I’ll tell you.

Technical skill: Giti is an artist and knows how to take a floor plan and arrange everything masterfully. She’ll tell you how many high priced, extravagant arrangements you’ll need to make a huge impact and knows how to/is willing to build other arrangements around those thus making your budget go a lot farther. I’ve seen some of her high five figure florals look like half a million dollars. Your guests WILL notice. It’s been almost a year since we got married and my guests are still commenting on the flowers.

Trustworthiness: This is a quality, that in hindsight, I would pay much more attention to when selecting my team. You can trust that whatever Giti quotes you as a price is fair. She will deliver ON TIME AND ON BUDGET. In fact, Giti was the person I trusted the most in this process. Please understand that I am a very particular bride who had a hand in every detail of the wedding. She does not overlook anything. For brides that want a little more guidance or don’t want to be as hands on as I was; I would completely trust her to help you create something beautiful. I was an out of state bride and she handled everything without me having to be there more than twice. She embraced my vision and always had a can-do attitude. She never told me that something couldn’t be done. She never put her vision ahead of my own. She listened. All of my friends told me to walk into my wedding with an open mind because despite all of my planning, I will get something different than what was discussed. Well when I walked in, everything was exactly what we discussed. I saw the entire vision come to life. It was far grander and more beautiful than I imagined. Giti made one critical change. We had previously discussed repurposing the large ceremony arrangements and moving them to the ballroom. Well the ballroom was already decked out. Giti saw that we were having a late night snacks display as a surprise for our guests in another room. This is one of the most important moments of my night as we brought in photos of our family members, some of whom have passed away. I walked in and got the surprise of a lifetime. Giti combined the large ceremony arrangements into the most spectacular display. I was moved. Some of my guests upon seeing all of the photos arranged so beautifully with this amazing display of flowers were brought to tears. Thank you Giti for making this change. My entire family truly appreciated that moment.

Personalized attention: You will not be dealing with an assistant who constantly has to get back to you after speaking with the florist. Giti loves her brides and will talk with you/ text you directly. It’s easy to schedule a meeting with her. You will never feel rushed. Also, she did an amazing sample arrangement before the wedding to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted. It really felt like a VIP experience.

Overall Experience: Fun and easy! I loved attending our meetings probably because she loved attending our meetings. Giti is the kindest human. When all of the other wedding details are adding stress to your life, you will be able to let go and have fun with Giti. Her excitement and passion for what she does is contagious. Her location isn’t in Newport for very good reason. She has an incredible workshop that you’ll be going to. Her workspace is full of arbors, beautiful vases, candelabras, and other wedding related knickknacks. Every other florist will have you rent these things from outside vendors and you’ll never get to see them in person to judge the scale. In Giti’s shop, you’ll get to walk around and work together to make sure that the scale of each arrangement and color of every vessel is what you want. We even had fun playing with certain vases and candle holders on tables to get it exactly right. Side note: for all of my candle obsessed brides, Giti has candelabras that are Rosecliff Rules approved so you don’t have to have those fake plastic candles you see in so many Rosecliff weddings.

She is truly second to none. Many Newport wedding vendors are great professionals and would deliver a quality product. There were only two people we worked with that we can confidently say our wedding would have been worse off had we chosen anyone else. Giti is one of them. This may sound a little ridiculous, but she is truly one of the people to whom I feel I owe a debt of gratitude. She saw two young people, both in residency, trying to have a dream wedding and made it happen when others wouldn’t. If we ever move back to the east coast, we’ll take our new surgeons’ salaries and ask Giti to be a part of every event we ever have. I walked into this experience as someone who didn’t even like flowers and left a believer. I have a beautiful arrangement next to me as I write this review. Thank you Giti.

When I think of one word to describe the wedding flowers Giti created, magical comes to mind. She just puts together the most beautiful arrangements. She matched the exact color scheme we were looking for and I truely couldn’t have been happier. She has a way of making everything look so whimsical and just perfect!!!
We did a mix of candles, tall arrangements, low arrangements, and she even added some other cute details around the room to tie it in.
She was very pleasant to work with and met with my mom and I a few times prior to the event. Giti stays to make sure everything is just as you like it and moves things around after the ceremony as needed. She even stored the left over flowers for my mom to pick up a day later.

Giti was recommended to me by a coworker who used her for her wedding. She was also recommended by my venue, Glen Manor House. I’m am so happy I chose botanica wedding for our flowers. Giti met with us four times to go over what we wanted for our flowers. She made a sample arrangement and worked with me extensively to make sure she understood my vision. She even ordered special flowers so the color would be perfect. On our wedding day I was so impressed with the flowers. Giti has set everything up before I even got to the venue and the flowers were better than I could have imagined. She really knows what she’s doing. Everyone complimented the flowers and they looked absolutely perfect with the bridesmaid dresses and wedding colors. I’m so happy to have hired Giti for our wedding and I will definitely be visiting her shop again :-)
