Tucked onto a cultured indulged street on the east side of Syracuse, NY, this small, layered boutique is filled with amazing stories from the pieces of jewelry to the vibrant personalities that set the atmosphere for in that moment you feel pretty 'cool'. The boom girls (Westcott St. Queen Bees) are super friendly and are always eager to help you find the perfect dress for whatever the occassion.

Bridal is slim but excellent. It is for the non-traditional bride. These are special dresses with texture and grace.

I bought the most amazing Sue Wong dress here, and the ladies at Boom Babies gave me excellent no-pressure advice and attended me very well. they also helped me pick out beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelery to go with the dress. It was a MUCH better experience than going to any of the many bridal stores i'd been to, where they neglect you if your budget is under $15,000, and tell you they 'just don't have anything like that' simply because they can't be bothered to go and look for it. Also, their prices are fantastic.

MAN they kept me from going crazy

Although Boom Babies specializes in prom dresses, I had a friend who worked there and knew she would find me something perfect. She did! It fit just right and was amazingly flattering on my big ol' self. If you're open to nontraditional designs and colors for your gown, please consider local shops like Boom Babies. My dress cost me just over $200 with tax, and although I got free alterations from my friend, it still would have been a fantastic deal.
