We first worked with Cheryl almost two years ago for our engagement photo shoot. As our wedding came closer, we ended up having to make a very last minute change by moving the wedding up a whole month. Cheryl is BEYOND amazing! She was referred to us by a photographer who did our engagement photos and she is just incredible. I knew the moment I met Cheryl that I wanted her to photograph my wedding. Cheryl immediately got my vision and had insight and suggestions to help. Cheryl was amazing!! My husband can be very hard to please and he loved her. Our wedding album is absolutely gorgeous. She was so easy going and helpful. We loved her so much that we have done more pictures with her for other occasions. My best friend, brother and sister-in-law all used her via are recommendations. I am so thankful we found Cheryl! Everything she did went beyond our expectations! At the first meeting I knew we needed to work with her. Not only was her work gorgeous but our senses of humor are identical! It is great working with a photographer that not only is funny but also easygoing (we met many photographers that were not). The wedding party and families loved working with her! We did a pre-wedding shoot 3 months prior to the wedding at Vanderbilt Mansion. Cheryl wanted to get creative since she had been there many times. The result was a collection of the most unique/amazing pictures that we love! She even let us do a couple shots at my grandfather’s house and captured so many beautiful spontaneous moments! The sneak peak she does on Facebook gives a little something to treasure while you wait for the package too. Wedding day was perfect and the pictures were ready for viewing in under a month just in time for the holidays! I know she busted her butt doing that which shows the kind of person she is. She captured every single moment, including moments that I had forgot happened! I am also extremely critical of myself, but I love every picture! The angles photographed seem to enhance all the good features. She knows what angles work to make everyone look their best! The groom and usher pictures were also creative and fun. We loved seeing all the wedding guests having fun in the party pics too since we were busy doing the rounds. Pictures are an important investment of a wedding but shouldn’t break the bank. With Cheryl we got amazing pictures at a reasonable price! We met many NYC photographers that charged a lot more and didn’t have as strong of a portfolio. She isn’t limited by one particular style; she excels at it all! I want anyone that is hesitant about booking a photographer to book with Bolton-Reuter. I will cherish all of these pictures for the rest of my life!
