  Absolutely Amazing!

  We first worked with Cheryl almost two years ago for our engagement photo shoot. As our wedding came closer, we ended up having to make a very last minute change by moving the wedding up a whole month. Cheryl was extremely accommodating and did everything she could to ensure that she was there for our wedding day. Cheryl and her assistant, Nicole, are some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people. They made the picture taking process a breeze and captured every little detail of our wedding day. We couldn't be happier with choosing Bolton-Reuter Photography and will absolutely we going back for future photo shoots :)

  A friend recommended that I contact Cheryl to inquire about her becoming my photographer for my wedding. Out of all of the things in my wedding I had to make decisions on, she was the best one I made. She has a sense of humor, she goes along with what you feel comfortable with, and overall, she was just a ton of fun. I would absolutely recommend Bolton-Reuter Photography for your big day. We plan on using her in the future as well. Thank you Cheryl!

  Cheryl was so easy to work with! She was professional and gave her honest opinions. She has a great eye and our pictures came out beautiful. We couldn't be happier with them! From the engagement session all the way to getting our album, the process was seamless, she always gets back to you right away. I would absolutely recommend her!

  I knew the moment I met Cheryl that I wanted her to photograph my wedding. Cheryl immediately got my vision and had insight and suggestions to help. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable, even though we both usually hate getting our pictures taken. Her prices are reasonable and her photographs are amazing. Our families and friends loved Cheryl's personality and she managed to direct us all to get the pictures she wanted while also seeming to disappear so that she was never in the way or took away from the special moments. She was professional and very interested in getting to know who we were so she could capture our wedding in a style that reflected us as a couple. Everyone who sees our photos also raves about the quality and colors. Cheryl and her team stayed until the very last song of the night and whisked my groom and I away to do some late night photos in which some of our personal favorites were taken then. Our photos are more than we could have imagined and we even won a photo contest at our wedding venue for best Fall wedding photo!   I am so thankful we found Cheryl! Everything she did went beyond our expectations! At the first meeting I knew we needed to work with her. Not only was her work gorgeous but our senses of humor are identical! It is great working with a photographer that not only is funny but also easygoing (we met many photographers that were not). The wedding party and families loved working with her! We did a pre-wedding shoot 3 months prior to the wedding at Vanderbilt Mansion. Cheryl wanted to get creative since she had been there many times. The result was a collection of the most unique/amazing pictures that we love! She even let us do a couple shots at my grandfather’s house and captured so many beautiful spontaneous moments! The sneak peak she does on Facebook gives a little something to treasure while you wait for the package too. Wedding day was perfect and the pictures were ready for viewing in under a month just in time for the holidays! I know she busted her butt doing that which shows the kind of person she is. She captured every single moment, including moments that I had forgot happened! I am also extremely critical of myself, but I love every picture! The angles photographed seem to enhance all the good features. She knows what angles work to make everyone look their best! The groom and usher pictures were also creative and fun. We loved seeing all the wedding guests having fun in the party pics too since we were busy doing the rounds. Pictures are an important investment of a wedding but shouldn’t break the bank. With Cheryl we got amazing pictures at a reasonable price! We met many NYC photographers that charged a lot more and didn’t have as strong of a portfolio. She isn’t limited by one particular style; she excels at it all! I want anyone that is hesitant about booking a photographer to book with Bolton-Reuter. I will cherish all of these pictures for the rest of my life!

  My husband and I, love love love Cheryl! She does amazing work and is so down to earth that each picture is painless and natural(my husband doesn't like to take pictures either)! We did an engagement session and our wedding pictures with her and each photo came out flawlessly!   Cheryl is beyond anything you can ever imagine a photographer to be. From the beginning, she was understanding, responsive to all of our questions, patient and professional. The day of our wedding she was there when she said she would be and becomes such a part of your family and friends that it is like she should be there beside you for the entire day. Cheryl is able to capture each moment in its natural state so the pictures never looked staged or uniform. Even when she does the "formals" you have so much fun doing them that you again forget she is there and are enjoying every minute of it. My friends and family can not say enough about how much they love her. The only problem... you spend hours trying to pick from the 1,000 plus pictures to make your album because every single one is perfect! Cheryl is without a doubt the only photographer that I would recommend.

  Bolton-Reuter Photography was great to work with - Cheryl was very prompt about getting in touch with me, made discussing an delivering what kinds of photos we wanted her top priority, and most importantly was great fun to work with. My husband and I had a great time doing our photos with her, our wedding party was happy about how easy all our group shots were to do, and I received many compliments from my guests afterward about how well they blended in and what great work they did. I was 100% satisfied with both the number and quality of shots they did. Cheryl and her assistant did fantastic job of chronicling our special day.

  Cheryl and her assistant were professional and provided exceptional work! Cheryl was very accommodating and captured all of the moments I had asked her to and then some! She has an incredible artistic eye for finding unique spots for fun shots. We received the digital photos quickly after the wedding and there were so many great photos that I am still having trouble narrowing them down for the album! I would recommend Cheryl and her team to any bride!

We received the digital photos quickly after the wedding and there were so many great photos that I am still having trouble narrowing them down for the album! I would recommend Cheryl and her team to any bride!

  We had looked at a lot of photographer websites in the Hudson Valley and Cheryl's pictures stood out the most. She was super easy to work with for both our engagement pictures and the day of our wedding. She really knows how to choose the best setting and lighting for pictures and her experience shows. We received our digital pictures on 2 dvd's (there were soo many!) in a timely manor after the wedding. She also took great pictures capturing all our guests dancing in action shots or sitting at tables. Looking forward to working with her again for our future family pictures.

  Cheryl Bolton-Reuter is amazing! The photos she took of our wedding are simply stunning and she was like a ninja, getting shots of things we never saw her take. She works with an assistant, which is great because you get different perspectives. Her prices are amazingly reasonable for the Hudson Valley too.

Cheryl made us feel so comfortable and was never invasive while getting her shots. We loved that she was open to suggestions on the spot and when she had a thought for a photo she didn't hesitate to come get us. Cheryl made us feel so much more then just a customer.
