Looking for a unique micro-wedding experience? Let us exceed your expectations at Bluebird Farm Alpacas. Our farm is nestled among the rolling Somerset Hills in bucolic Far Hills, New Jersey. Envision your rehearsal dinner, wedding, or reception surrounded by alpacas peacefully grazing in the pastures. We are a wedding venue unlike any other.
Our farm, whether in its emerald green summer splendor or through the vibrant changing autumn leaves, will provide a beautiful setting for you and your guests. They will not only enjoy the beautiful surroundings, but they will be able to mingle, feed, photograph, and walk with members of our alpaca herd. Truly a memorable experience for all!
Our rustic, yet modern barn, finished in 2021, is the perfect venue. The gorgeous event space features a bridal suite, perfect for hair, make-up, and dressing for the bridal party. The main level features pine-lined walls, vaulted ceilings, and French doors, all with sweeping views of the farm and the surrounding 175+ acres of rolling farmland. Need a space for your caterer? Our kitchen area offers space to store and heat food to serve you and your guests. There is a lower level with large barn doors leading to an outdoor area that can accommodate a tent.

Best Wedding Ever
It takes a lot of coordination and flexibility to pull off a wedding with many moving parts, but Nick and Melissa, the recommended wedding planner, kept things running smoothly until the very end.
The beauty of this venue is that it's a blank canvas that can be personalized down to the finest details. We even purchased plush alpacas from the on-site store and used them as centerpieces, which was a huge hit.
If you want a small wedding in a beautiful location, surrounded by alpacas, it's hard to beat this venue.
A wonderful wedding filled with alpacas and love
From the initial conversation to reserving our date to the day of the wedding itself, Nick went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding would be a wedding to remember. His passion for the farm and the alpacas is contagious, and he went out of his way to make sure that our special day was perfect.
The venue itself is amazing and super-flexible; with picturesque sweeping views of fields and alpacas, a touch of fall color, and the flexibility to configure the event space as needed it was everything we wanted in a space for our fewer than 50 guests. Nick even provided a recommended list of vendors that really helped us as we were planning on such short notice.
Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the farm, the alpacas, and the view. It was a magical event filled with joy and we’d not have been able to match it without Nick and the rest of the Bluebird Farm Alpacas team.
Unexpected Bliss
Nick and his team were kind, responsive, and a joy to work with each step of the way. They offered their experience and expertise while we were deciding which rentals and caterers were needed.
The alpacas were a huge hit with the guests and everyone was chatting about what a great experience was had there for weeks after.
We loved it here and would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
