Certified by the Green Restaurant Association in 2011 as Chicago’s first green caterer, Blue Plate Catering is nationally recognized for its standards of service and culinary leadership. Founded by CEO Jim Horan, the company reflects Jim’s pride in personal relationships, belief in hard work and, most importantly, a dedication to and appreciation for the craft of food. In 2016, the company achieved a milestone with the opening of a new 80,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility and venue space, Larkin Hall, located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.
