Blue Plate goes above and beyond

Being able to have Blue Plate cater our wedding was an absolute dream. Alexis, Shelia, Isa and Julio were truly the best team to have. From the start, Alexis was genuine, passionate, and thoughtful. When we showed up to our tasting, Alexis and her team had gone above and beyond to really personalize our tasting. They staged our table to reflect our design choices and even surprised us with a couple of unique treats they designed specifically to incorporate the bride's South Asian culture. We were truly blown away by the presentation and amount of thought put into our tasting. This attention to detail and level of care continued throughout our journey with Blue Plate. They were happy to adjust the menu and individual dishes so that they were exactly what we wanted. We also loved that Blue Plate puts such an emphasis on guest service as well as the wellbeing of their employees. The number of employees they have working on any given wedding day is higher than the average caterer and we were so grateful for that. We knew our guests were well taken care of. We absolutely LOVED the food and the quality was unbeatable. To this day we still crave our late night ramen bar and joke we'll just have to attend another BP catered event. Blue Plate takes catering very seriously and they were extremely professional and well-rehearsed all night. We especially appreciated our personal server, Isa, as she was as attentive as humanly possible. The bride accidentally spilled hors d'oeuvres all over her wedding dress before joining the guests at reception. Isa immediately jumped into action with some cleaning wipes and managed to make the bride’s dress literally spotless! Seriously, Isa was the MVP! She was nearby all night with a water or cocktail in hand, checking up on the couple often. As the couple planning their wedding, they spend all year thinking of the guests and the guest experience. Blue Plate was one of those special vendors that spends time thinking about YOUR experience as a couple, too. We absolutely loved our experience with the team at Blue Plate and we can’t thank Alexis, Shelia, Julio, and Isa enough for their work on the most important day of our lives. We truly cannot recommend them enough.

Definitely recommend!

Blue Plate did an amazing job. The food was delicious, the service was seamless, and communication was easy, which was huge since they played such a big role in the day with determining so many logistics. We had a buffet for about 110 people, and everything ran smoothly. It was definitely on the pricier side, but the quality really showed. The staff made sure we were very taken care of the entire evening. Our guests loved the food, and the chicken tendies and mac and cheese late‑night snacks were delicious!

Loved our sales director Elinor and those passed Hors d'Oeuvres!

Blue Plate catered our daughter’s wedding reception for 182 people Labor Day weekend 2025 at the Chicago History Museum. We were extremely pleased with their service and delicious food.
We signed a contract with Blue Plate autumn of 2024. Winter of 2025 my husband and I flew to Chicago to join Rebecca and Jack for the tasting at the impressive Blue Plate offices in the West Loop. Blue Plate knew how to lay out the welcome mat and add the special touches. We sampled many items so the bride and groom could make their menu choices. We knew if the tasting was any indication of Blue Plate's service and food, we would be in excellent hands for the wedding reception.
Our Blue Plate sales director Elinor Harton was a pleasure to work with. During the planning process she answered our many detailed questions promptly. Elinor at Blue Plate, our wedding planner Kate of Cygnet Event and Designs, and the staff at Chicago History Museum were a dynamic team.
It was quite the party. Our guests loved the varied Passed Hors d’Oeuvres. A HUGE hit. Each guest preselected their entree before the event. The many servers brought the plated entrees in quickly and smoothly. Our guests sampled the many mini sweets from the dessert station.
Thank you Blue Plate for providing delicious food and for serving our guests so well. You made our daughter’s wedding reception a most memorable night.

White Glove Service

We had a great experience with getting to know Blue Plate. Although we did not choose them as our caterer, they will surely not disappoint. Their top-tiered customer service started as soon as we arrived for our tasting. Their endless amount of food options, also made it easy to try to stay within our budget.

Delicious multicultural food + amazing customer service

Blue Plate Catering was incredibly accommodating of our multicultural, multigenerational food requests for our wedding. It was very important to my husband and I that we serve Filipino and Ecuadorian cuisine at our wedding, as an homage to our families, and as a symbol of the marrying of our two cultural identities into one - a difficult task that they smashed out of the park! They really listened to us (and to our parents, lol) and integrated all of our requests, and the food turned out delicious! Please hire them, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing gluten-free wedding!

We used Blue Plate for our August 2021 wedding at Cafe Brauer. They were the only approved caterer we spoke with that seemed enthusiastic about doing an entirely gluten-free wedding. I have celiac disease and I didn’t even want gluten bread rolls on the table - there was no way I was getting sick on my wedding day! The food was truly phenomenal (including the GF rolls :) ) - our guests still talk about it to this day. And I was so grateful they could prepare it all safely. Huge thanks to Rachel and the team for doing such an incredible job!

Guests Still Talking About The Food

Blue Plate was our first tasting and unfortunately the tastings we went to after that paled in comparison to the quality of food and attention to detail. They were accommodating when we had to reschedule our wedding a year due to covid and very responsive along the way, especially when we were given a new event coordinator prior to our 2021 event. What I loved about them aside from the delicious food was that they paid attention to what was going on at the event. We had an hour delay due to a transportation company not picking up guests as scheduled and the Blue Plate team knew how to adjust food preparation accordingly. The steak was perfectly cooked and all food warm. The servers were professional and made sure to get to all areas of the venue for passed apps and late night bites. I truly enjoyed all my interactions with their team and my guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding food they had ever had!

The best food and the best vendor!

We hired Blue Plate as they are one of the exclusive vendors for the Chicago History Museum. They were incredible throughout everything, especially as we had to plan, and replan many times due to COVID. They accommodated us in every way and Elinor was responsive, organized, and so kind! The food was incredible and all of our guests were well fed. Our wedding party admitted that they were standing by the doors where cocktail hour bites were coming out in order to get first dibs! Even beyond the food the service was fantastic, and they helped coordinate absolutely everything! Our wedding went so smoothly because of them and we cannot thank them enough!

Blue Plate is amazing!

We used Blue Plate for our sons's recent Covid rescheduled, tented, backyard wedding reception. They pulled it off with 3 weeks notice and everything was perfect! The tasting was great and the execution of our choices on the night of was every bit as good, even though it was 90 degrees and humid that night! I would highly recommend Trish Vogel and her team at Blue Plate.

Would give them 10 stars if possible!

Having been introduced to Blue Plate through work functions, I knew if there was any way we could afford to use them for our wedding, that’s who I wanted to work with. And as a pleasant surprise, they weren’t even our highest quote! And I can’t even say enough how wonderful it was to work with Nicole C. at Blue Plate, from the initial phone conversation to the big day. She immediately got the vision we had. It was so wonderful being able to have the flexibility to create a menu from the ground up to fulfill our vision of a French themed evening. From having them specifically source breakfast radishes for crudite, to recreating a salad I was set on having, and fulfilling our vision for centerpieces lush with demi baguettes and croissants, no other caterer could have done it better. And the food, as expected, was delicious and beautiful! Our venue told us that no one else is better than Blue Plate when it comes to service. I had so many guests tell me they were SO impressed with the staff’s attention to detail and efficiency of service. And I find it so endearing that every staff member I came into contact with that evening congratulated me on my marriage. They are simply the BEST!

Amazing catering company!

Blue Plate's food is SO good! We got so many compliments on the food and I know they say bride and groom never eat the night of, however, my husband and I cleaned our plates! So good! We worked with Helen from Blue Plate and she was extremely professional and patient throughout the entire process and made tasting and menu creation so easy! Blue Plate also did our cake and it was so yummy! Couldn't have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend booking them!

Wow Wow Wow!! My wife and I (still getting used to saying that) were completely floored at not only the impeccable food you served to our guests but the amazing service we received from the entire Blue Plate staff. Our contact, Rachel went above and beyond on several different occasions leading up to and at the wedding to guarantee we had the picture-perfect day from start to finish. She took on so many tasks and responsibilities the day of our wedding that went well beyond her "contracted responsibility" and we couldn't have been happier or more thankful. We selected our venue, A New Leaf in Chicago, and Rachel from Blue Plate happened to be there meeting with a client that same day. She was so bubbly and pleasant and gave us her card right away and the rest is history. We felt so taken care of and she is a true professional and industry expert. During our tasting the food and service blew us away and we trusted her so much that we selected many of our other vendors from her recommendations.

During the planning process we felt like Rachel always had a knowledgeable answer for literally every little detail. The wedding day did not disappoint either - we had a team making sure we were staged for the ceremony, prompted us for walking down the aisle and greeted our guests with cocktails immediately after walking out of the ceremony space. Our personal server was such a nice touch - we were able to enjoy many apps, full plated meals and always had a drink in hand...he even found us on the dance floor later in the night :)

The food we had was buffet style and open seating, but easily the best wedding food I have ever had. Our guests raved about the Fall menu and also about the wait staff and bartenders.

Overall the wedding planning process can feel intimidating and we can easily say that working with Blue Plate was a huge factor in making the process stress free and fun - and the quality exceeded our expectations. Our actual wedding day was the rainiest day in Chicago history which I know caused logistical challenges, but our team never missed a beat and we were so thankful.

Blue Plate catered our daughter’s wedding.
We needed “turnkey” service and they more than met the standard. From our first telephone contact with Matt Morgan to our meeting with our “day of” coordinator Brent Geiger to the chefs and waitstaff for the wedding, everything went smoothly. Matt and Brent’s menu suggestions were spot-on; the food was delicious and presented beautifully. The staff set-up and clearing seemed effortless and our house was left spotless. We need to add one additional positive to this recommendation. We contacted 3 other caterers and gave all caterers the same information and the same request. Although all said “of course, we can”, Matt’s Blue Plate proposal was the only one to incorporate the request in the proposal. Blue Plate listens! We highly recommend Blue Plate, Matt and Brent.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Elinor Brown for our September 2016 wedding at the Rookery in downtown Chicago. First off, the food was amazing and we received tons of compliments from our guests on how the food at our wedding was the best 'wedding food' they have ever had. From the appetizers, to the dinner stations and the bar set-ups, it was all top notch quality and service was great. Regarding planning, from the get-go Elinor was responsive, helpful, easy to work with, honest and always was willing to put in extra effort in order to help guide us through the planning process. Elinor worked as both our caterer and venue liaison, and though we were a bit worried about the logistics in the beginning of the planning process, she made sure everything went smoothly, and our wedding day turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you so much Elinor, and the entire staff at Blue Plate, for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

My husband and. I had a terrific experience. We had an intimate wedding at the Garfield Park Conservatory. The small room was transformed into an amazing oasis. The service was magnificent. They say that guests will forever remember the food at your wedding, so it was imperative to me that we have great food at our October wedding. Blue Plate was a clear choice for us, not only was the tasting amazing, but they worked with my husband & me, my parents, and our wedding planner to customize things just the way we wanted. Additionally, the team worked with one of my friends who is a baker to help me incorporate her into our desserts and made them fun Halloween themed just for me. This was something Blue Plate didn't have to adhere to, but because they did, I'm forever grateful!

The quality of their ingredients is perfection - their chicken and especially the short rib was just AMAZING! The only disappointing part of it all was that my husband and I hardly got to eat - pretty typical, I guess, but being a foodie, I'm pretty bummed about it! If only we could do it all over again!

Ten months later, our guests are still telling us how amazing our food was! Thank you Rachel & Blue Plate!

When we had to find an alternate caterer a MONTH before our wedding I freaked. However, Ken and Andrea at Blue Plate made everything better from the moment we walked in for our consultation. The service was outstanding and communication. FOOD was amazing. The night of our wedding everything was flawless and plates cleaned of food from our guests. I highly recommend. They were very accommodating to allergies too.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Missy Wright at Blue Plate. Missy has such a wonderful energy, from the very beginning she made us feel confident we had chosen the right caterer. The tasting, though! HOW FUN! We brought some of our wedding party and all were wowed! Food was delicious, presentation was impeccable, and they really listened to us and helped us create a menu in our budget that catered to our more casual tastes. The one thing that really made a difference was the service we received on the day of our wedding. Missy made sure that there were servers assigned just to us! At every turn they made sure we had a cocktail (which we inevitably set down every time we hugged someone and then it disappeared!), they created our very own hors d'oeuvres tasting plate to nosh on before being announced at the reception, then they went to every food station and created us a tasting plate from each so that we could spend our time greeting our guests not having to worry about forgetting to eat. It was truly spectacular - the personal servers were a magical touch! Missy and her team helped make our day feel completely flawless and we can't thank them enough!

If you're looking for a caterer I HIGHLY recommend Blue Plate - especially if you can work with Rachel! Rachel was an absolute delight to work with. From our initial meeting/tasting to her saying goodbye the evening of the wedding - she made the process so easy - and I am picky! Not only was the food fabulous, but we were able to provide our own liquor - which was a huge plus. Our ceremony was in the same space as our reception so the Blue Plate staff had to do a full flip (with barely anything preset since it was such a small space) in under an hour - and they delivered! Truly, every aspect of Blue Plate's service was top notch. I can't tell you how many emails I wrote Rachel - all of the special touches I wanted incorporated, she made happen. Don't hesitate - book a tasting with Blue Plate and you'll be convinced - and be sure to ask for Rachel!!

Blue Plate is awesome! We worked with Katie G for our July 2015 wedding. From the start she was great! Our tasting was fabulous and she was just super fun to be around - she really made it a great experience which was part of why we chose them! The food at the tasting was delicious! I stuffed my face! It was all so good!

We got married at a location that didn't have a kitchen so I was a little worried about how all the food would transfer and taste the day of. It was just as good as I remembered!! We had so many compliments on it and that it was hot!! Not cold like most weddings!

Working with Katie and Blue Plate was great! They were super easy and accommodating. We really appreciate it and would recommend them to anyone!

We used Blue Plate Catering for our wedding in October and absolutely LOVED them! We worked with Elinor and she was beyond fantastic. From day one she was responsive, accommodating and we felt like she was genuinely interested in our wants and needs as a client. We were very nervous about choosing our catering vendor as we would consider ourselves "foodies" and wanted to make sure the food was on-par with the quality of food that we typically enjoy. When we had our tasting we really felt like they catered the menu to our likes, dislikes and preferences as a couple and customized a fantastic menu for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a few other tastings with other companies and Blue Plate was by far the best. It didn't feel or taste like wedding food at all. On the day of our wedding, everyone RAVED about the food and said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Again, Elinor was amazing to work with and went above and beyond her duties. We didn't have a wedding planner and in many ways she acted like one for us and helped with so many detail and last minute requests. Everything came out exactly as we had imagined and Blue Plate and Elinor were integral in making that happen! They really were a huge help in making our dreams come true on our wedding day!

This is going to be a tough review for me to write. I have SO many words of appreciation, recognition and thanks for Ken and his entire Blue Plate Staff.

From the start, we had an instant connection with Ken. We knew we wanted to work with him from the moment we met him. However, when we tasted his food, that sealed the deal for us and our entire family.

We through him challenges to achieve and he nailed every one of them each time. Food was a BIG DEAL for us and he was there every step of the way to bring it all together.

I can't tell you how many comments and WOWs we received about every aspect of the food. From the mini "bar food" at cocktail all the way to the passed desserts -- the food was 5 star.

The service was nothing less than 5 star too. Our personal server that night, Hector, was over the top and one step ahead of Brian and I all night. We decided to have a quiet/special moment in our bridal suite as soon as we arrived to the Ivy Room, before we entered cocktail hour and that was one of our favorite parts.
The bridal suite was set just for us and Hector was there to help start the evening off on the right foot. As busy as Ken was that night, making sure everything was perfect, he was one of the first peopl to great us and make sure we had a special private moment to view the dining room/ballroom.

My husband and I are still blown away by all the aspects of the catering service from Ken -- from chairs to napkins to the bar tenders...he helped pull together our vision and our dream wedding.

Blue Plate was AMAZING!!! I would recommend this company to anyone getting married! The food at our tasting blew us away and they accommodated all special requests that we had. They also set up our table numbers, place cards, and champagne flutes for us and even arranged our cupcakes on the tier we had rented. They were very professional and the food was delicious! The salad we had was so good I wish they had a restaurant that served it! My husband and I also had our own personal server who kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything throughout the night. She was very kind and professional. The team at Blue Plate exceeded all of our expectations and helped our reception go off without a hitch. Couldn't have asked for anything more in a caterer.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the attentiveness, patience and helpfulness of Blue Plate in the planning process. Both of us very extremely busy and had to put off our tasting on multiple occasions. Ken Severin, our Blue Plate guy, made everything easy. He gave us great food options that made it easy to pick a menu. He was very amenable when I asked if we could change our napkin color the week before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, his team managed everything well. If anything went wrong, I had no idea about it. We were well fed and I was extremely happy with the quality and taste of everything.

Great service and fantastic food! Blue Plate catered our August wedding at Café Brauer and we were extremely pleased with their food and service.
My husband and I were really concerned about having great food at our wedding – and we accomplished that goal by hiring Blue Plate. From the start, Blue Plate provided us with great options. We decided that we wanted to do stations instead of the traditional sit down meal. Before we even got to the tasting Blue Plate had a huge list of station options to choose from. We were able to find stations that met both of our demands (we went with a tapas station, a steakhouse station, and a Greek station).
At the tasting Jessica, our contact with the company, was great. She explained everything to us and really made us feel at ease. The food was excellent as well. In fact it was so good that my husband was asking for seconds. As a result, we had a hard time narrowing down the menu. Not only did Jessica help us with our food choices, she also made some great recommendations about other vendors we would need to use (hotels, florists, coordinators, etc.).
Jessica changed venue assignments with the company, so Ken was our new contact after the tasting – but he was equally as great. Ken immediately called to introduce himself and helped us iron out all of the details for our big day. Ken was a real joy to work with.
The staff from Blue Plate was fantastic at the wedding! They were attentive and focused. Members of the staff, including Ken, were kind enough to go get us food from some of the stations. In addition, they were friendly to all of our guests. Best of all, the food was great (just as good as it was at the tasting). We are still hearing from guests about how much they loved the food.

The food at our wedding was amazing! Thank you Blue Plate! A number of guests commented on how much they enjoyed our food. It was by far the best food I have ever had at a wedding or large event.

I am allergic to gluten and Blue Plate was incredibly conscientious in making sure that everything was strictly gluten free, even coming up with creative ways of doing appetizers.

Ken Severin is a true professional and a joy to work with. He might be the most polite person I have ever met and at the same time is direct when he needs to be. He made sure everything ran smoothly and was attentive to the even the tiniest details. Thank you Ken!

Blue Plate was one of the best choices I made in my wedding. Ken Severin handled all the details wonderfully and was delightful to work with. Additionally, they gave us a lot of flexibility in our menu items and always promptly replied whenever we had any questions or concerns. We received so many compliments on the food and everything turned out beautifully!

Another thing to note was their wait staff was incredibly professional and thoughtful. They even courteously set aside a full platter of hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy whenever there was a private moment. I would highly recommend their services to any bride planning her special day.

AMAZING!!!! people are STILL talking about the food served at our event. Ken was amazing to work with (very responsive & accommodating throughout the whole experience) and the food was to die for!

I worked closely with Ken, and expectations were exceeded beyond anything I could have hoped for. They made me feel like my wedding was the only one they were working on... which was definitely not the case.

To start, during our initial conversation prior to signing anything, Ken gave invaluable suggestions that were specific to our reception space. He was a wealth of knowledge and professional through and through. Also there was attentiveness of emails, down to the last detail, and they never waned in patience and attention to all of these small details.

Blue Plate worked with all of my vendors (florist and lighting mainly) to the point that I pretty much didn't even need to interact as the middle man.

Once the day came along, my husband and I felt like the king and queen. We had a dedicated staff member making sure we had drinks and enough to eat. She handled everything including making sure our belongings and the bridal/groomsmen's belongings were secure. It was such an unexpected treat that made us feel so special. Also, very early on in planning with Blue Plate I mentioned to Ken that the grooms party like "captain and coke" drinks. Well sure enough... I barely remembered even saying this, and each groomsman spot at the head table had an ice cold captain and coke waiting for them after introductions. Additionally, my parents and my husband's parents had staff members specifically looking after their needs and wants as well.

There is a reason that Blue Plate is one of the top caterers in Chicago. From the moment I called their offices I felt taken care of and guided through a very foreign process. I spoke with Ken and he stayed with us through the whole process including overseeing the actual event. Ken listened to our needs and vas always very considerate of our budget. When, at the last minute we decided to have the ceremony inside and needed to rent 50 more chairs, he made it happen with absolutely no stress to us and helped us so we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg.

Blue plate handled not only our food but also out rentals. We got the opportunity to see in person every item that we were considering, from flatware to wine glasses and table cloths. When we walked into the room on the day of the event, we were blown away at how beautiful everything looked. And the food was absolutely delicious!

What really made Blue Plate stand out though was the quality of service on the day of the event. We had a personal server who always made sure we had water and saved special hours d'oeuvres so we too got to eat while visiting our guests. The main comment from our guests was how impressed they were with the level of service. Every one of the staff was key in making the evening outstanding!

I would recommend Blue Plate to anyone who is planning a wedding or an event in Chicago.

Blue Plate has amazing, restaurant-quality food. They are not the cheapest, but I definitely feel that what you get is worth the price. From the first day we met Kelly at Blue Plate, we were very impressed with the presentation and quality of the food and service. Setting up an appointments with her were very easy. She responded very quickly via email and was very flexible about the details and changes we made throughout the process. On the day of our wedding the staff was incredible. They catered to our guests and every moment from the ceremony to the cocktail reception and through dinner they did an exceptional job. My husband and I were very impressed with the way they coordinated their service with our venue (Chicago History Museum). We had other caterers to choose from, however we went with Blue Plate and that was definitely the best decision we made. Kelly and her staff were so attentive from the beginning that we never had to worry or get stressed on the day of the wedding.

Blue Plate did an amazing job on our wedding! Nicole was so helpful in working with us and coming up with creative ideas to reach a price we were comfortable with. She revised the proposal, tweaking little details countless times until it was exactly how we wanted it. At the wedding, the food was delicious and the service was unbeatable! The appetizers were unique, easy to eat and tasted amazing. We had over 250 guests and Blue Plate was able to serve all of our guests warm, delicious meals in a very short timeframe. They also coordinated well with our other vendors so that we did not have to think about anything related to the food, linens, set-up etc. on the day of our wedding.

We were very happy with our catering from Blue Plate. We did a station-style vegetarian meal, and were impressed with the wide variety of options provided within those restrictions. Laura Ekker was very helpful from start to finish, and happily accommodated our menu changes following our tasting. They did a great job giving a meal a hearty feel with tons of variety so as to please an almost completely non-vegetarian crowd. The service provided was also fantastic - all of the bar and wait staff were friendly, professional and helpful.

Blue Plate is one of the top catering companies in Chicago. Though their prices may seem steep, they offer much more than just food. They can handle all your rental needs (from linens to tents) and provide a day-of coordinator to help with any onsite details. Their staff is top-notch. We decided to have a less formal buffet dinner -- because it was the most practical considering our guests' varying palates -- and the most cost-efficient.

The food was excellent -- to this day, we get compliments about how great the food was! (When was the last time your remember what you were served at a wedding?)

Our wedding venue had a list of 4 preferred catering vendors we were allowed to work with and after meeting & negotiating with them all, Blue Plate was the clear winner. Not only did they offer the lowest quote, but our sales consultant (Kate Facklis) was fantastic from the get-go! She wined-and-dined us during the tasting, was incredibly helpful when it came time to customize our wine & linen selections, and as a recent bride herself she offered genuinely good advice along the way that helped us spend our limited budget on the things that mattered most. On the day of the wedding the Blue Plate team knocked it out of the park! There was never a long line at the bar, the food came out hot, each guest at a table was served at the same time, and it was beyond awesome to have a personal server assigned to us whose sole job that night was to make sure we never had an empty glass in our hands. Even though we went with the lower priced menu options, our guests still raved about how delicious each course was. I'm probably one of the few brides out there who can honestly say I ate everything on my plate that day :) We highly recommend Blue Plate catering!!

Blue Plate hands down has the most spectacular food and service. They are the premier caterer in the Chicago-land area. Blue Plate is an exceptional catering company. We worked with Michael Muer, who is creative, innovative and helped make our event about us, something we would remember and our guests would enjoy. From the raspberry mojitos to the creative appetizers and the excellent staff, we love Blue Plate!

Blue Plate was actually priced higher then most of the other caterers that we looked at, but their level of professionalism elicited a higher degree of confidence from us that they would make our special day as perfect as it could be. We were not disappointed. Our coordinator, Michael, kept things on track all day and made sure we didn't have to worry about how the event was being managed. We would recommend Blue Plate to anybody for their wedding or catered event.

Blue Plate offers such a HUGE variety of delicious and unique food choices!!! Even a year after the wedding, our guests are STILL talking about how great the food was!

Overall a good vendor. The food tasted wonderful and the premium bar was great. The coordinator even set up the flowers in the tent and on the cake. She did a fantastic job.

They were very nice to work with and the menu was great. My biggest problem was that I was not able to reach anyone the weeks leading up to the wedding. I had to call and email multiple times before my contact got back to me.
They also ran out of food and mixers for our drinks, which is unacceptable. We had less people than expected so this should not have happened.
Toward the last fews weeks I felt like they had moved on the next wedding.
