My husband and I got married this past September. We were directed to Christina based upon the size and location of our event - due to her minimum pricing Blue Box is not an option for small weddings but was perfect for our medium size guest count (just over 100).

When meeting for our tasting, we went with the more extravagant 8 flavor option as my husband is a chocolate fan but I am not...this was well worth the price as we got 8 mini cakes to try which meant plenty to take home and enjoy over the weekend! Christina won us over with her flavors and enthusiasm, she provided some off the menu suggestions for mixing and matching sponge and fillings which was awesome.

Ultimately, we settled on a mix of a traditional wedding cake (we were so pleased to get more than one flavor choice), along with a smaller gluten free cake and a number of sweet treats to appeal to a wide range of dietary restrictions and palates. When it came to design, Christina was very attentive to our inspiration photos/vision but also mindful of our budget as sugar past dahlias are not easy or inexpensive! When we discussed incorporating our dogs, she had a vendor lined up to make figurines and took care of the ordering process once we provided her some photos.

Ultimately, she knocked it out of the park both with appearance and taste! I am hopeful that she waives her fee minimum in the event we want a one tier anniversary cake (-:

If I could give Christina from Blue Box Bakery more stars I would! Christina was able to design a simple but elegant cake for our wedding that not only looked beautiful but tasted AMAZING. She also made some small desserts that were to die for. Everyone loved them! Not to mention, Christina was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her for any of your dessert needs!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and most of all tasty! It was great to have a unique cake that fit our look and most of all everyone loved it! We also needed a gluten free cake and everyone said how great that was too. All around wonderful, Christina was super helpful and responsive!

We hired Christina to do the dessert bar at my daughter's wedding on the Hood Canal. Christina is a very talented baker. The bride and groom chose a Vanilla Cake, Bavarian Cream, Fresh Strawberries, Vanilla Buttercream cake. It was absolutely delicious. They also had Apple and Berry Mini Galettes, Sugar Cookies rolled in Pearl Sugar and Chocolate Pots De Cremes. Everything was to die for! Christina was very easy to work with. She answered all our questions immediately either by phone calls or emails. Thanks, Christina, for everything you did.

Christina at Blue Box was an absolute lifesaver!! I had originally booked with a different bakery but about 3 months prior to the wedding, that vendor had to cancel and connected me with Christina! I couldn’t be happier with the result. It was better than I could have ever imagined it and was super delicious! Can’t wait to recommend her to all of my friends :)

Blue Box Bakery went above and beyond with my wedding cake. The design was better than I imagined. It was the best wedding cake I could have ever wanted. We had a cake for us and our family and then cupcakes for the guests. The cupcakes were so good. I had to sneak several for ourselves.

Chef Christina is incredibly creative and from everything I've tasted (cherry pie • flourless chocolate torte • key lime caramel macaroons • mango lychee mousse layered wedding cake!) I know she could make any flavor combination a show-stopping and delicious dessert. She's responsible for so many of my most delicious memories.
