We used Mikes Amazing Cakes for our elopement. I highly recommend his services. It’s definitely not easy planning an elopement from states away, but he made the process of ordering our cake simple. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was also absolutely stunning. All of our friends were just gushing over it. & our photographer took his name down to recommend to her other clients! We would absolutely order again.

I used to make wedding cakes a long time ago, and have since let that go to pursue a different path in life, so I know a good cake when I see (and taste) one. While my husband said that Mike was a little gruff on the phone, I feel that Mike was a very nice straight forward, no frills kind of guy. Husband was in charge of this vendor at first but I ended up taking over to make sure things were just right :) Mike delivered everything on time, made everything perfectly, was very affordable in my opinion, and was totally cool with us changing our design and flavors up to 10 days prior to the day if we wanted. His cake flavor offerings are delicious, and his buttercream frosting melts in your mouth. Despite the airy texture of the cake frosting, it held up so well in our summer forest wedding (it was in a room that didn't have the best AC). Thanks Mike, we look forward to buying cupcake versions of the cake flavors we chose since everyone gobbled up the cake and we had none left for the two of us after the wedding!!!

Mike's Amazing Cakes are truly amazing in design and taste! So far we have ordered two cakes and both were made with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The first was a 10" printed cake for my husband's 30th birthday. He is car guy so we surprised him with a picture of him driving his car printed on the cake. Theresa was very responsive to my emails to finalize the details of the design. I requested a banner on the cake and the end result perfectly matched the aesthetics! At the birthday party, everyone enjoyed and complimented the double chocolate cake.

The second order from Mike's was our wedding cake. Originally we planned a 3-tier cake made with white pleated buttercream with marble cake and chocolate filling. At our appointment, Theresa was very helpful with determining the size of cake we needed to match our guest count. However, once the pandemic hit, which changed with our wedding plans, Mike's was willing to modify our order to a 6" single tier 4.5" tall cake for our wedding photo session. He called a week in advance to confirm our order and was very fast to answer questions I had by email. Pick up was easy and the cake held it's shape in the warm weather outside for a couple of hours. But just as important, it tasted AMAZING!!

Mike is a fantastic baker who does his best to make his customers happy. The quality of his baking shows his commitment to the art and his cakes are delicious. We loved our wedding cake and were so honored to meet the baker himself.

Our cake was beautiful and so delicious! I was able to provide a couple of pinterest photos and they absolutely nailed our design. There are so many cake/frosting flavors to choose from and ours tasted so good. Everything was delivered on time and looked amazing. I cant wait to cut into our last piece on our anniversary!

While we didn't really get a chance to eat our cake besides when we cut it, we've heard nothing but rave reviews from some pretty harsh critics. They offer beautiful sample cakes for cheap and we got to choose two different flavor combos to suit our own personalities, plus the design was stunning! We went with a simpler, all-white cake with cable-knit details to fit our Christmas wedding. It definitely stood out surrounded by all the red and plaid! Most importantly, we had some cake connoisseurs in the crowd who said it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had!! We will definitely use them again for future cake needs.

Mike's Amazing Cakes is fantastic! Our cake looked exactly like we wanted it to, and had all the amazing pieces we could have asked for. It was very reasonably priced, and tasted GREAT! I can't wait to have the top next year when we celebrate our 1 year. I cannot recommend Mike's Amazing Cakes enough!
