The idyllic setting will sell you, but once you meet Jamie Bryant, it will be hard to imagine having your event anyplace other than Blue Bell Farm. A consummate professional, Jamie will ensure that every detail of your event at Blue Bell Farm is perfect. Perhaps even more perfect than you could ever imagine.

Bill and I had our wedding at Blue Bell Farm. Beginning with our initial email, Jamie was authentic, attentive, and responsive. She was interested in our vision, answered any questions we had, shared ideas and advice – both of which were always excellent, by the way – and was simply a breath of fresh air during the entire process.

Jamie has impeccable taste and impressive connections. We really didn’t know any vendors in the area, but Jamie always had a personal recommendation. And each vendor was top notch. She is a lovely host and a smart businesswoman. Our guests were in good hands.

Of course, Blue Bell Farm is run by a team. While Derek was responsible for a lot of work behind the scenes, so to speak, he was also an amazing host during ceremony and reception. Before the guests arrived for brunch the next day, I had an opportunity to hear about Derek’s connection to the farm and its history, which only deepened my appreciation for this special place.

We will forever be grateful to Jamie and Derek Bryant for providing, not just a gorgeous, bucolic setting for our wedding, but a wonderful experience and helping to create truly perfect memories.

Jamie Bryant gets beauty. She understands the organic and aesthetic components of a good meal. She appreciates the art of a good table, complete with all the colors of the garden and aromatic pleasures of the earth.

Bill and I chose Blue Bell Catering for our wedding reception. While hearing Jamie describe an ideal dinner experience was enticing, we were also sold on her commitment to buying from local farms and vendors.
Blue Bell Catering put together a lovely menu with fresh, local ingredients; a menu that was inclusive of guests with special diets or dietary requests. Some actual comments we received from our guests were, “That was the best charcuterie I have ever seen,” and “This was the best food I have ever had at a wedding. Ever!” Months after the wedding, we still have guests compliment the food and ask where it came from.

The service Blue Bell Catering provided, including bar service, matched the exceptional quality of the food. For our guests choosing non-alcoholic beverages, a special alcohol-free cocktail was offered at the bar (before they even requested one!).

Blue Bell Catering took great care of us and our guests and clearly takes great care of its community. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

We had our wedding reception here and it was great! We got so many compliments on how beautiful it was and everyone was so nice and easy to work with!

First of all, this is a STUNNING venue! Derek and Jamie have thought of every detail in the design of this barn. All of my guests remarked that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to! With this venue, you do have to rent everything and find your own catering and bar. However, my husband and I found this beneficial because of the flexibility it allowed us with food and drink! Derek was extremely helpful. He even built a bonfire for my guests during the reception, which added a special touch! I love Blue Bell and would recommend it to anyone interested in a unique and special venue!

Blue Bell Farm was the perfect place for our simply elegant country wedding. Derek was super helpful through the whole process and was very understanding to our needs with time for setup. He was professional beforehand and during the whole event and even was there first thing the following morning helping my family clean up, even though it was our responsibility. The only "problem" was that the barn is not air conditioned except for the bridal suite, bar and bathrooms...so our guests were pretty warm. But the place is absolutely stunning and perfect for photos! Be aware that you must get chairs, tables, tablecloths, sound equipment, decor, food, bar and just about everything through outside vendors as well as purchasing wedding insurance.

So far, Derek at Blue Bell Farm has been wonderful to work with. We haven't gotten married yet, but have been out to see the barn multiple times, taking a lot of pictures as we are planning. Any odd questions we have had, Derek has been quick to respond and willing to let us do everything we have asked for this far! Can't wait for our wedding in May!

Beautiful venue. Derek is wonderful to work with and quick to respond to any questions. We just had our wedding there, April 16, 2016 and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the space was. Bubbles (the farm dog) was our guest of honor.
If you are thinking about using the barn, you will need to bring in everything-chairs, tables, etc. Here are the people I used for this venue.
I got a great deal from US Rents it for seating and tables.
Purchased all the tablecloths online.
Rented some items from "The White Door Rental"
Bleu in Columbia was our caterer and bar staff.
DJ Huggie Bear provided sound and music for the reception and ceremony.
Photography was Gunnpoint Photography.
Shuttle was MoEx (definitely worth it, if you are serving alcohol).
Hotels- Tiger in Columbia, Mo and The Holiday Inn Executive Center (Jess is wonderful to work with).
Flowers- Ordered in bulk from Sams and my mother and I put them together.
I did a ton of stuff on my own, it was a lot of work but definitely worth it the day of.
All my vendors were very knowledgable of the venue and worked together perfectly.
It's a beautiful space on its own, so decorations don't need to be elaborate. It does, however, provide a wonderful opportunity to be creative and show your personality.
Book it! It's worth it.

Blue Bell Farm was truly a dream venue! The atmosphere of the barn and property are amazing and working with Derek and Jamie was a great experience. They worked with our ideas, provided suggestions and were very helpful. The only downside is that the venue doesn't have chairs, tables, etc. for use so that's an added expense in addition to the venue. BUT in the end, our wedding day was perfect, we had many guests comment on the beauty of the venue and I'd definitely recommend Blue Bell to others!
